It has the classic ice cream parlor vibe. Lots of options for ice cream and Italian ice. Some unique flavors that shine bright, and even the classics ring true. No one was here when my family arrived, a sweet older lady was running the shop. Super friendly and welcoming, like a childhood best friend's mom. After we ordered and paid, the place got BUSY with 3 more families. The lady handled the rush like a seasoned cocktail waitress from the golden era of the Vegas Strip casinos. Price was very reasonable, ample parking, and lots of seating inside. read more

I decided to try this place since I was in the area and wanting a sweet treat. They let you sample which is great. A rather large shop for ice cream. I got to try a few but settled on the key lime pie. Scoops I thought were on the smaller side but that's inflation I guess. Good experience if you are around the area. read more

Decided to sto by and give this place a try after having olive garden for lunch, there pretty close by in the shopping center near the vons with so much foot traffic. Parking is a little bit or a find but they do have some short time parking if you wanted to drop by for a being quick scoop. The inside was pretty big, I was impressed with how many diffrent flavors they had to choose from. Came in around 2pm and there wasnt guest inside but the lady who served us was super friendly and welcoming. She gave us some samples since I was super undecided about what I wanted. I ended up getting a double scoop cookies and creme and cookie dough lets keep it classic for the first time. The flavors were noticeable and the ice creme was rich, Ill have to give other flavors a try for next time and see what they are about. My best friend got butter pecan and pistachio and she enjpyed them too. I think this is a Definitely cool spot to bring the kids, to grab a scoop a little pricy but good quality ice creme makes it worth it. read more

My wife and I went here and we were impressed by the variety of flavors! They had all the classics, plus some real oddball flavors (like corn!). I had the bubble gum and it was good, but typical. I loved how they don't have gumballs mixed inside, but it did have some icy bits in it from freeze/thaw cycles. The cone was meh. It was pretty cheap at $4.50, but I'd pay a dollar or two more for something premium. It's definitely worth a visit, but it's not my favorite shop. read more

This little ice cream shop is tucked away in a strip mall. You've gotta try it! Owner has so many unique flavors all homemade such as corn, taro, cherry etc. she also has Italian ice! Having just finished at a neighboring bar, hubby commented that we'll have to try the ice cream place in the center one day. After looking it up on Yelp, I determined that I wanted to try it that night! As others have shared, we were cheerfully welcomed immediately upon arrival. How fun to walk along their ice cream freezer display; I love that they allow one to taste the flavors before deciding! Came here after wanting something sweet post dinner. The place is cute and cozy. They have an extensive menu that includes shakes and banana splits, and numerous flavors, so expect to take a while to decide! The staff is really nice about giving out samples too. I orderes a double scoop of strawberries and cream and salted caramel. Strawberries and Cream- The strawberry flavor is nice and dominant with the creamy section giving a nice balance. My lady friend were craving ice cream and decided to give Roger's a try. This place is amazing. They have so many flavors, many you won't find anywhere else. Run, don't walk, to Roger's ice cream store. My daughter and I were going to see our acupuncturist, and we saw this place and decided to give it a try. It is some of the most amazing ice cream I've ever had in my life! (and I've had gelato in Italy ) The blue monster is especially delicious, don't be put off by how it looks, it taste amazing! I'm so glad they have a corn flavored ice cream here! I've always loved corn flavored things and this ice cream was perfect! It wasn't overly sweet and had little bits of corn in it. My partner got milk & cookies as well as s'mores and it was just as delicious. Perfectly sweet and delicious ice cream! The woman who served us was super sweet and let us have samples before putting in our order. The inside had multiple tables and was neat and clean. I took my daughter here after school and they had a vast selection of ice cream flavors! It was hard to choose but she got strawberry and I got the salted caramel. It was reasonably priced and the woman who helped us was very sweet and friendly. The ice cream was so smooth and delicious. Both flavors were AH-mazing! So yummy!! We LOVE Roger's!!!!! Sooooo many flavors of ice cream and Italian Ice. Love that you can sample flavors, takes awhile to decide with so many options. I tried the corn ice cream and it was just what you would imagine... corn! Not my first choice but to each their own! Little neighborhood ice cream store in a low key strip mall w/ Vons. We came here on a weekday afternoon foot. Traffic was very low in the store, the staff was very helpful in getting us orders. My kids and their friends stayed to play some board games after enjoying their ice cream, we did not feel rushed. I took a new flavor home, we all liked it. Their Blueberry Cheesecake ice cream is just as delicious and omg the Red Velvet ice cream is so delicious!! Stopped in on a whim as my pizza wasn't quite ready for pick up at What-a-lotta-pizza. The place was completely empty, but very clean and new. I asked if I could get some ice cream to go as I didn't see it on their menu, and they said yes and then showed me their to-go containers. Now came the hard part--they have a lot of flavors! The good thing about making your own half-gallon of ice cream is the ability to mix and match. I decided on my favorites: cookies and cream and some chocolate Oreo. They filled it to the brim with ice cream! Almost a little to much as it was hard getting the lid on, but it finally closed. The price was exactly $20, which, considering how many ice cream cones or scoops are in the container, is not that bad. When I got home, the ice cream was super soft and delicious! I mean, it was really good ice cream!!! The problem came after it day in the freezer for a day. It turned into a rock. It was so hard to scoop out that I ended up just making little balls of ice cream in my bowl. It still tasted really good, but getting it into the bowl was a chore. In the end, I would stick with an ice cream cone or a cup of ice cream for my next visit and not take any home unless I was planning to eat the entire thing that night. read more

The ice cream here is amazing. I got the hot fudge sundae with 2 scoops of ice cream. One mint chip and one chocolate chip. The ice cream is not overly sweet. It has the right amount of flavor. Not over the top sugary. The selection is good with some amazing flavor combinations. Service was quick and the shop has scattered seating available. This our go to ice cream shop in our neighborhood! We love that it's a small business, whenever we have been here the employees are really nice, normally humoring my daughters need to taste test everything. I enjoy their Italian ice for a low calorie treat. Normally it's pretty quiet and it makes for a great stop after playing across the street in Eisenhower park in the summer! read more

The ice cream at Roger's is absolutely delicious! So creamy and not overly sweet. The sheer variety of flavors makes this a place to come back to again and again. I had the pistachio ice cream and it was loaded with whole pistachios. My husband loved the brownie ice cream and my daughter loved her key lime scoop. Highly recommend. read more

When my daughter had a dance competition in the area, I knew I had to go!!! Its located on 4th Street in Santa Ana but I've heard they also have a food truck that goes out to Anaheim as well. The place on 4th street though has street parking, be prepared to possibly circle around a few minutes to find a spot. Also, make sure you have coins to feed the parking meter! My daughter and I came on a Saturday evening and must've got there at a good time as there was only a handful of us in line. After ordering, it did get much, much longer! As in, right out the door! Its not a huge place...several tables along the wall to the left while on the right is the area where the magic happens! This is where they make the churros and towards the back, right is where the ordering is done. We ordered the Churros with ice Cream, Don Churro style with vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of nutella and a full thread of regular churros. I will have to say that these have got to be the best damn churros I've ever had!! They make them on the spot and not until you've made your order. They're so light, airy and not even oily!!! They're just soooo sooo good! We brought our boxes of churros home for the rest of our family to enjoy. There was so much that we couldnt finish it right away so we air fried what we had left the next day and it was still pretty darn good. For what you get, prices are quite reasonable! Now i'm just trying to get back out there sometime for their deliciousness! If there's a line, its worth the wait!!! Two thumbs up for Don Churros Gomez!

The atmosphere is awesome - music is chill, not too loud, so you can hear each other talk. The dessert is where they win. Everything's fresh baked. The churros are delightful and they come in different flavors. Chocolate was my favorite - crispy outside, soft inside, perfect with the dipping sauce. Heads up: It does get busy and there's usually a line. But honestly, it's worth the wait. Come on down and try it yourself. You won't regret it.

We went with a few other families and none of the kids could actually finish their ice cream cone, which is actually good because that means you can share. The shop is especially good if you're planning to watch a movie at the Regal Cinema just next door.

The blueberry cobbler one is rich with that blueberry flavor, kind of like a blueberry pie. And the strawberry sorbet was not too sweet and refreshing and it's dairy-free. If you're looking for a sweet treat and don't mind having more than one scoop, go to Handel's!

We did get lucky and got parking on the side street since someone right in front of us was leaving. The line does move quick though. They have 10 order stations. We got here 30 min before closing and were able to get our order in before they closed. The most popular item is the Joe Latti, which is vanilla ice cream with your choice of Italian ice flavor. We got to sample flavors before ordering as well. I ended up getting wild cherry and mango tango, which was a good combo. The mango was sweet, just the way I like it. My group all got a mix of flavors and everyone enjoyed their joe Latti as well. Customer service was great. They answered all our questions since it was our first time here. The place is always crowded, and there is limited seating and tables in front. We were lucky to get a table. There was also kids revving and speeding up and down the street, so just an FYI.
