EVA and manager AARON falsely accused me of returning the wrong item, even though the item matched my REI account, app, original tags, barcode, and product details. They made this accusation in front of my family and other customers, which was very embarrassing. I asked them a simple question: "What exactly is different?" They refused to answer. That tells me they had no real answer. They accused me first, then avoided explaining their own accusation. While EVA was still processing the return, AARON told me to leave and threatened security for no valid reason. After all that, they still processed the return. So the item was correct all along. This was a false accusation, poor judgment, zero accountability, and terrible management. REI leadership should review this incident seriously.

It is very easy to book an appointment online and there's lots of availability for different time slot throughout the day. We booked our appointment for a 12pm appointment, got there about 15 mins early and the gal was happy to assist us right away. She was friendly, she was helpful... everything was great until she told me the pricing for the earrings would be $128, and she pointed to a very small diamond earring that I personally did not like. I asked her if that was the only option for my daughter, and she hesitated and pointed to another diamond or gold earring right next to it, and said it was the same price. She literally made it seem like out of all the earrings displayed in the case, these were the only two options with a single price point of - $128. If you look at a photo on this review, you should be able to see that there were plenty of other styles at different price points that I was well aware of because I literally was just there not too long ago for my other daughter's piercing. I was getting super annoyed so I asked her again if these were the only two options for me, in which she then pointed at the $85 options but immediately told my daughter that the ones she liked were "sold out". Just then, another woman with her child approached the lady helping us to ask about pricing but they were immediately told of the earrings available "at the starting price".
