He spoke with me on the phone and made note of everything pertinent to my move. He was able to fit me on a specific day and time I requested. Kyle and Jonah got to the pickup spot right on time and called me 30 minutes prior to their arrival so I could plan accordingly. They quickly and efficiently moved all my pieces of furniture which were heavy and had to fit in awkward spaces. They unloaded everything early and the bid I was quoted came out lower than expected. I received a quick response with my quote. The movers arrived later than scheduled but I was the third customer in the day and I was expecting that. The only thing that would make my experience better was if they would send an ETA throughout the day as movers were delayed on their other jobs. Movers were very professional and friendly. Eric and Jeremy were very careful with our furniture, packed everything into the truck very well. Assembled all items in the new place and cleaned up before leaving. Highly disappointed. Scheduled a move with Nate and was pleased with the initial responsiveness when getting my quote, but was pleased with nothing else. I reached out the day before the scheduled move for confirmation that the crew would arrive during the agreed upon window in my signed quote and received no response. The day of the scheduled move my designated arrival window of 3:00-5:00 came and went and when I called to try and get an eta for the moving crew I got no response. Waited at my house for movers from 3:00 to 7:00 tried reaching out multiple times with no response. Do not hire these movers! Unresponsive and no shows. read more

If I could give negative stars for this "company", I would. I cringe even saying the word company. A place that would stand you up on the day you move into your first house doesn't even qualify as a real company. We were scheduled for a move on Saturday and they never showed up. Never answered calls. Never answered texts. Didn't call the next day to offer any kind of crazy explanation. Nothing like this has ever happened to us before. Sure, they have really good prices, but I would gladly pay double for a real moving company. Obviously this tool just isn't cut out to be a business man. So there we were, forced to find a solution to our dilemma at 5pm on a Saturday when most of the day was already wasted away. The one thing I want you, the person reading this, to know is that it WILL happen to you. We actually read all of the reviews say that they never showed up and we convinced ourselves that it wouldn't happen to us. That there must've been good reasons for all of those cases. That the price was too low to pass up. Surely, someone wouldn't repeatedly do this to good people on purpose. But we were wrong. Please, don't waste your time on these "people". It can and will happen to you. Actually, you would be doing yourself a favor to call Pack and Save movers. They came and moved us at 6:30pm on a Saturday without hesitation. It's a father/son team who were so fast and efficient. THIS is the way a move should go. Thanks for nothing, Bat City...I hope you get the help you need. They never showed for the time I reserved, even though I called and confirmed the day before. I called twice and left a message. I understand if something happened but I would have hoped someone who worked there would have at least let us know they weren't coming so we didn't keep our hopes up. Once I decided to book with him, we spoke on the phone to go over all of the logistics and set expectations. Then I got an email confirming the details. The first day, other projects for him ran long and he was running late, but he gave me options and made sure my move happened. Then, when I needed to change the schedule, he was flexible and accommodating. And I got an additional email confirming the change. Refrain from hiring this company! On 03-29-2022 we hired Bat City Movers to help us with our move. Everything seemed fine at the beginning. Every time I called, the owner, Nate answered, and he was very nice. The day of the move the crew arrived on time and they worked very hard, can't complain on that area. However, when they unloaded the truck, we found out that the fridge was damaged. It seems a broomstick was caught between the front of the fridge and something else, leaving a large ding with the silhouette of the stick across the stainless-steel doors. We let the crew know, and they said that we should talk to Nate (the owner). We sent him a text with the pics. He said he would take care of it. Asked for the fridge model info and told us he would order another fridge door and have it delivered directly to us. A few weeks later, we texted him to check in on the status and he said that the law gave him 90 days to get this situation resolved, so we waited. We texted him every two weeks or so to get a status update. At first, he responded that he hadn't had the chance to look into it, then he stopped responding at all. My husband researched the part number to replace the door and realized it was out of stock or back ordered everywhere online. Last message we sent to Nate was on 06/1, offering to settle for a refund on the cost of the door + shipping, and that we would take care of ordering and installing the door. We even offered to submit a receipt. No answer at all. He totally ghosted us. It is a real shame that something that started as a 5-star service ended up as a 0-star review due to the handling of this situation. Damage to belongings during moves is something that could certainly happen, so we wonder if Bat City Movers practices are the same for every other customer that would've run into the same situation. If you don't have fragile stuff or appliances to move, then maybe this company works for you. Otherwise, we suggest you look somewhere else. read more

I posted on yelp and they were one of the first companies to respond and gave a very fair quote. I did this more than a week in advance and scheduled to move for 1pm on a saturday. At around 11am I received a message and I was told that the arrival time would be between 1pm and 3pm because the crew assigned had a previous gig and was not going to be done on time. At around 2pm I started texting and calling but no response, calls went direct to voice mail. 5:30 pm I received a call from one of their movers and he said he had just gotten the work order from Nate who was in Colorado and that he was one hour away. At that time we were so frustrated and in a hurry that we decided to go ahead and wait. 8pm the mover still did not how up and kept sending updates that he was stopping for gas or that he was a few minutes away. I decided to go with this company because they're local and had a good price. Unfortunately the experience was far from great. I was given an estimated time of arrival from 9-10am, I got a call at 10:30am letting me know they were running late and were finishing up the previous move, ok that's fine. So I'm waiting and they finally show up at 1:30pm, we get out of their way and let them work. They moved everything into the new apartment and everything seemed fine until we went to bed and the bed frame was not put back together right. And Now I noticed they scratched up my desk and stand. I will definitely NOT use these guys again. Next time I'll go with Einstein Movers like I did the first time I moved, they went above and beyond for us. read more

After rescheduling my move twice, they show up 2.5 hours late with a truck that's too small to accommodate my move and with a third mover, when I had agreed to having just two movers. They tell me that they will have to make two trips because they're in a smaller truck but they won't charge me for the second trip. After the first trip, they say they will have to finish the job the next day but expected payment for the work that had been done thus far. Although they gave me a discount for rescheduling me twice, the discount still did not offset the cost of the third mover which I never agreed to in the first place. They broke my bookcase and completely lost the motor off my adjustable bed frame rendering it completely inoperable. They offered no resolution for the broken and lost items, which. after trying 5 times to even get a response about the missing motor, ended by them saying only "it must be in your home somewhere. " So, although their prices might be slightly more affordable, it ended up costing me so much more in the end and I wish I would've gone with someone else. read more
