Even though i confirmed arrival times 2 days prior no call no show after multiple texts, phone calls, and emails (all ignored) at the 2 hour mark hird another mover that was $50 more an hour but could and did show up in 1 hour. Sent an email firing Bat City Movers. 2-3 hours later got a call from another moving company saying the just were assigned this task and they changed names.... i let them know they had already lost this job and that moving is stressful enough without having a company that you are relying on to no call no show... very disrespectful and untrustworthy! read more

I scheduled my move a week prior with Nate and got everything squared away without issue. On the day of my original move, I text Nate to confirm the move... no response. I finally receive a call from the crew and they said my move would be pushed back from the scheduled time of 12pm to later in the afternoon or evening. No specific timeframe was given because they were behind. I finally get a call around 7pm and they tell me they'd arrive in 40 minutes. Unfortunately my storage facility access ends at 7pm, so I couldn't have them come. I was rescheduled and confirmed at 9am the next morning. I text Nate ahead of 9am to confirm again.. no response. I try calling at 9:15am... no response. I text the crew member who had rescheduled me the day before and asked if he could contact someone for me, which he did! I finally get a call from someone and they tell me they'd make it in 30-40 minutes (an hour after the rescheduled time). They showed up and the move went great! The guys moved fast and were nice and friendly. I had to rate the overall experience as a 3-stars however because of poor logistics and lack of communication. read more

They were great at keeping us informed throughout the scheduling process and the planned moving day and were very kind and patient with us as we were needing to coordinate with the seller as well. Phenomenal job. One of the owners, Mary (who I believe typically answers inbound calls), is a wonderful person. Helped me out when I was in a jam and needed a mover in under 24 hours. The two movers the helped me were working hard as fuck. Kinda felt guilty I wasn't helping. They had just came from a job that was on the third story to work my job, which unfortunately for them, was also on the third story. They had to carry two heavy-ass leather couches up 3 flights of stairs with tight corners - no scuffs, broken items, scratches, etc. I'll definitely use them when this lease ends. The move itself was great and the guys seemed alright. There was a bit of a delay with them between trips to the trailer, I didn't want to over think it then but now I feel that was the opportune time for them. I noticed I few minor things missing the day of, I wasn't going to complain because it was a last minute move etc. I decided to give myself time to unpack and declutter to have them hopefully pop back up but to no avail. I booked THREE movers and LARGE truck a full month in advance. I had a terrible time trying to confirm it was booked. Bad Communication all around. On moving day, a dispatcher called letting us know they were coming an hour AFTER they were scheduled to arrive. Showed up almost 2 hours late with 2 people and a small truck. I called immediately and asked what happened and was told they were just "so busy". I would have been fine with all of this if they had just communicated with me before the actual day. The movers were NOT careful - they broke the bottom OFF of a $800 media chair and claimed it was "like that already". They put boxes in the wrong place even though they were clearly labeled, and stacked everything in the FRONT of the rooms and garage, instead of along the walls, so we are struggling to even get into the rooms to find anything. The move took 2 trips (it would have been 1 trip with 3 people and big truck) and when a third person finally arrived for the last 30 minutes I still had to pay for three movers for the last hour. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I gave 1 star because my move was completed, albeit badly. read more

I wrote an honest review about my experience with your company on Saturday, Sept. 18 and Sunday, Sept. 19, Nate. You did not show up on the Saturday scheduled and then blamed it on human error. Fair enough, although it put me in a bad position. You rescheduled for the next day, Sunday, and again did not show up. Your response to my review was a complete falsehood because you never showed up at my apartment. I don't know where you did, if you did, but first, no one in my family (there are only two of us) would have "cussed you out" because even though we were annoyed, we are still polite. We would have said something like "shit happens" and gone on with the move. And second, neither of us smokes, so mentioning a litter of cigarette butts is a dead giveaway that you were not at our apartment. I am angry that you felt it necessary to make up a lie to excuse your failure. read more

I can't say enough about Bat City Movers-I have used several movers and for the most part they have all been good-but Bat City Movers was WAY beyond good. Nate was quick to provide a response and accurate quote. They only charged by the hour and their fuel charge was reasonable (especially with gas prices right now)...But more importantly moving day really put them over the edge as pretty amazing!!!. - It was extremely hot and the move itself was pretty rough with several large pieces and loading to make multiple location unloads. Between my storage (although climate control) being on the 4th floor -(so going up n down the elevator was cumbersome) and then my Apt was on the 3rd Fl-yuck in the Tx HEAT--the worst. But these guys were amazing--quick, efficient, and despite all the worst conditions -they never complained were professional, pleasant and truly amazing. Despite having to make 2 stops and 3 flights of stairs with some pretty heavy furniture with just 2 hard working men-they managed in great time!! I will definitely be using them again and telling everyone to use them. read more

It started off great. Nate was super responsive to my initial quote request and had me booked the same day, with a confirmation email stating the time and day. I had an appointment scheduled for the movers to arrive between 2 - 4 pm on June 13th. They arrived at 8 pm. I tried calling at 4:05 pm to speak to Nate, who did not answer because he was not feeling well (his words in his email response), but also does not have the mailbox set up on his business number so messages cannot be left. He did respond to my emails at 4:30 pm and said that he was hoping to get the movers to me within the hour. At 5:30 pm, nothing. At 6 pm, Chris called to say he wouldn't be getting to me until 8 pm. They arrived at 8 pm exactly and started immediately. Did not have me sign or read any paperwork. Got everything moved over, but they broke a piece of my furniture in the process and left a sizable mark on my headboard. Finished at 10:05. I've just now received an invoice saying that I was charged $275 which is incorrect because they charged me $302.50. I tipped 15% for a total of $347.88 because I felt bad that Chris and Cameron had to work so late in 90 degree heat. However with how unprofessional this whole process has been, I want a refund and to only be charged $275 since that is what the invoice states. The invoice also states that the movers are not responsible for furniture that they break or damage, which should have been expressed prior to the move. read more
