The cupcake was good a little bit dry, but had good flavor. I got the toasted banana cream cupcakes, it was not toasted. Nor was it marshmallow. The service was good. Cute little spot with a variety of sweets, not just cupcakes.

I love support vegan bakeries and I was eager to check this place out when I visited Reno. I purchased the pumpkin whoopie pie during the fall season and it was so moist and flavorful. Looking forward to visiting again to try their other seasonal baked goods.

I forgot to take a picture of the cupcakes lol but their store is super cute. Fun decor, random things to buy other than baked goods, plus all the goodies. They have organic and gluten free options too. I got 2 cup cakes and they were about $5 each. All of the frosting was buttercream (my least favorite), but I just took the frosting off and enjoyed the cake itself. Would definitely recommend especially if you like icing. Service was also great. Super helpful and really friendly.

I was just visiting Reno & saw that this place had some vegan cupcakes. I was surprised though because they had more than just vegan cupcakes. I got a vegan cupcake and a Whoopie pie, a vegan brownie and a vegan cookie. They had a wonderful vegan options. The service was great and friendly. And the goodies were so delicious. That pumpkin vegan Whoopie pie was out of this world!

Half dozen vegan cupcakes, some gluten free and some paleo

Pretty much any day I can walk into Batch Cupcakes without ordering ahead, and walk out happy with a vegan treat. The rare days that the cupcakes aren't flavors I'd enjoy, there are other baked goods like cookies. The handmade treats for dogs are a great purchase too. On their social media, you can see them using high quality ingredients like vanilla bean pods and I love their fudgy chocolate options. Local and family owned, they do take custom orders and do holiday specials. They have seating and it's typically quiet, which makes for a great break or place to catch up. I run into cool, sweet toothed people here

The cupcakes were so bad I'm not sharing any photos but this area looks nice

I wish I could recommend this place because the actual aesthetics of it are great. It is exactly the kind of place you would want to come hang out. The best thing I can say about the cupcakes is they use really great frosting we bought for different flavors so they can't say it was a bad batch. Each one of them was Grainy, dry and not with a great flavor. We ended up throwing out the bottoms and just eating the frosting. It was an expensive exercise. We did not get any of the specialty vegan, gluten-free or Paleo. We got the regular ones, but I do not recommend them. There is no spongy quality or moistness to these cupcakes. In fact, they felt old.

    Gluten-Free Cupcakes

Finding gluten-free baked goods is a *mission.* Let's be real--most places give you one option, like a basic chocolate chip cookie, if anything. So when I find a bakery that actually offers a variety of gluten-free treats, it's like striking gold! I'm all about supporting local spots with GF options, and of course, loading up on sweets to savor throughout the week. And, as if I needed extra motivation, I'm 7 1/2 months pregnant, so my sweet cravings are intense right now! I needed something special to satisfy the urge, so I searched for gluten-free goodies in Reno and found **Batch Bakery**. Their slogan, *"Life's a Batch. Eat a Cupcake,"* was calling my name, so I ordered a whole lineup of their gluten-free cupcakes: **Pumpkin with Cream Cheese**, **Pumpkin with Coconut Shavings**, **Chocolate Mocha**, and **Dark Organic Cacao Chocolate Cupcake - Dipped in Chocolate Ganache**. I started with the **Dark Organic Cacao Chocolate Cupcake** dipped in ganache, and OMG. It's moist, rich, and full of flavor. I'm already craving another one! I can't wait to dive into the other flavors, and I'll definitely be stopping by Batch again before I leave town. For my gluten-free friends--this place is a must-visit. And yes, they have regular pastries for everyone else, too! Final note: the service was super pleasant and helpful, making the whole experience even sweeter.

My mom wanted to celebrate her 60th wedding anniversary, even though she is now a widow. I have food allergies, so I didn't want to make a big cake or purchase one. I also didn't want to leave the house. I decided to scroll through GrubHub and see what our dessert options were. Batch Cupcakery was the top choice! Thanks to their gluten free options, I was able to purchase a half dozen cupcakes. Two for each person in the house! Mom was able to have a "wedding cake" and I was able to keep my food allergies under control. Our roommate was also able to have treats! Having it delivered was helpful too. VERY HELPFUL!

Batch is the best place for cupcakes. It's a small bakery in Midtown. Some items are approved for vegans. A lot of interesting flavors. They have many other kinds of treats. If you're looking for some healthier desserts, you can get some here. Many are made with less fat and sugar. The main thing are the cupcakes, and they have many of these. It has several that meet certain diet needs. There's varieties for gluten free, keto, and vegan. I came in and got a Chocolate Mint Cupcake. It's about $3.75 each. This kind is full of cool mint flavor. It's not a big cupcake but it packs a lot into it, so it just feels big. This isn't way too sweet, unlike many other cupcakes that are just like pure sugar. Come here to get cupcakes. It has many that meet diet needs. There's many that are vegan.

My kids and I are obsessed with their cupcakes here that we will make the trip downtown to get our fix. Service is always friendly and helpful and it's such a cute space to have a sweet treat with a coffee. Today's trip was to celebrate my little sister's birthday. We got a 6 pack to go and brownies. The vegan snickerdoodle is my new fave! Thanks to the sweet girl at the counter this afternoon; happy early birthday to you tomorrow. I'm sorry I should have asked for your name, but thank you for your service today.

We stopped by after eating at another establishment. There was a young man working who didn't seem to like his job. I chose four different cupcakes and my husband chose a chocolate chip cookie. My chocolate cupcake had a funny taste , not quite sure what it was. I also chose a cupcake with blueberry filling and one with raspberry. The fruit filling was minuscule. . . Less than a teaspoon. The Whoever put the frosting on all the cupcakes must not like their job because they weren't pretty. My husband did say the cookie was delicious.

    Cute interior now open

This can't be my first review for Batch. We've been coming for years because my wife loves the paleo cupcakes, so they make the perfect occasional surprise or birthday treat for her. Heck. I love em too! And ever since my now three year old son learned what a cupcake was, we've had three people that love them in the house! What's not to love about decadent, rich, deeply flavored and and pseudo healthy cupcakes? If I handed you one of these you'd never know they were paleo. These are all that and more, and don't worry, you'll still feel guilty eating them! But if you can't imagine they have the same ingredients as a traditional cupcake, Batch makes those too. Today the flavors were awesome. My son loves the strawberry cupcake, which is bursting with real strawberry flavor. I wanted him to want the blueberry cheesecake cupcake topped with cream cheese icing and a real blueberry, and filled with blueberry too! I always want to leave with just one cupcake but it never happens. Today I got lucky and only got two, which made for two happy family members and a superstar dad and husband!

Parking is very easy in the shopping center lot. Honey Bakers is a small shop where you order to-go. Highlights The location offers a range of dim sum standards (har gow, siu mai, sticky rice, etc.) that you can order on demand. Around Autumn festival time, there are also mooncakes and other traditional pastries, with lotus, black bean, red bean, taro, egg custard, and other fillings. There is also a long specialty menu of sweet and savory "buns," including steamed and baked char siu bao, coconut pineapple, red bean, and chicken. I don't think I've ever seen so many options in one place, amazing! Turnaround time is pretty fast as well. Lowlights The dim sum prices are "boutique," and by that, I mean much more expensive than dim sum restaurants I've been to. Dim sum doesn't have that many offerings around here, and so you pay for the convenience. The buns are more reasonably priced, but the fillings are on the low side, and some aren't quite as fresh or tasty as I'm used to. Again, demand often impacts these factors, so I can appreciate a small business has to balance things. Overall, a convenient option if you're craving dim sum or Chinese sweets.
