Warm Vanilla Sugar... ...it's my all-time favorite fragrance from Bath & Body Works. Its scent; a warm vanilla bean fragrance with a bit of coconut and a hint of sandalwood. It smells fantastic! Someone had given me sample sizes as a present and then a dear friend was kind enough to buy me its almost complete set of creams and lotions...thanks Rho! my first experience here was a couple years back while vacationing in Vegas. I must have bought almost half a store of products to bring back to Honolulu...I even still have some of the anti-bacterial soap collections... You just have to come on the right days. Their coupons, such as 20% your next purchase, keep me coming back! They go ALL OUT on their decorations depending on the season. Overall, i love this place! I hope it never shuts down at this mall. However... Knocked off a star because although service is usually welcoming, there are always 1 or 2 older workers, who I'm assuming is/are the manager(s), who stare me down angrily until I make my purchase. Stopped by this location for their semi annual sale. I like that they only let around 25 people in each time, so there's a line outside waiting to go inside. I am giving 1 star because this BBW location isn't doing what it takes to be safe during the COVID pandemic. First of all, there's no way people are 6 feet apart when people are waiting in line. Second of all, this BBW location doesn't reinforce masks. I noticed a woman standing behind me without a mask, and later on I asked the staff whether they reinforce masks they said no but they can provide masks if people ask for them. I don't understand why BBW won't reinforce masks it's mandatory in CA? It seems like BBW cares more about making money than wellbeing of the public. I came yesterday with a friend for the $5 moisturizers and this store was on top of covid regulations! They only allowed a couple people in at time to shop and had a line outside. As you walked in they also had hand sanitizer out to use before going in but to be honest I noticed a lot of people using the handle and it want being cleaned. I was a little iffy on that so I didn't use it, I had my own. When I went to pay the cashier was super friendly and applied all my discounts. She also helped me with my free reward from the app. Unfortunately I didn't get her name but she had great management skills. First time at this location today. Drove here from LA only because a sweet associate (Michelle) that I talked to over the phone was kind enough to hold a few candles for me. I appreciated the fact that they would be there when I arrived after making the semi-long drive. All the associates were super sweet.. i was notified of the specials upon entrance & actually ended up buying more than I went there for. Kellie checked me out & she was so helpful & friendly. BBW is a decent chain where you can find a wide variety of hand soaps, body washers and lotions. There's always a greeter in the front; the greeter can also help you find whatever you're looking for. If you (like me) prefer to browse on your own, then the overly attentive service here might seem like too much of a good thing. As for the merchandise, they quality is generally good, and when BBW holds a sale or one of their semi-annual promotions, you can often get some really steep discounts. read more

I could happily spend my whole paycheck here; I love this store. Sadly, given how high the prices are, spending my whole paycheck isn't all that hard... The prices are really the only thing that keeps me from coming here more often, or rating the store higher. The service is great, I love the way the place looks and smells, and the products have NEVER irritated my sensitive skin, which is a big plus. I have to be pretty careful about the products I use, but I've never had a problem in all the years I've shopped with Bath and Body Works. All I have to say is that this place sells great products and I am truthfully impressed with the level of service provided. The staff is cordial and enthusiastically greet and serve the customers. They usually have some specials going on and the prices are pretty good. All the little bottles and candles available for sale here make perfect gifts. Update 5/21/07: They just came out with a new line called Sparkling Peach. I'm so addicted to this stuff. I smell delicious. Really. + + + + + I love this place. Does that make me a girly-girl? Eh, whatever. All this cold weather is making my skin so dry. I need to stock up on girly stuff that will make my skin soft and smelling oh so yummy. I'm really picky when it comes to scents, and I don't like overpowering fragrances. When I first walk into a Bath & Body Works, I get annoyed. There are too many competing fragrances coming at me at the same time. It gives me a headache. I find what I need, and I'm ready to go go go. I usually get the same shower gel/body lotion combo: Mango Mandarin, Cucumber Melon, or Sweet Pea. I love their C.O. Bigelow line of products. I use their Grapefruit Shower gel and lotion. Their Lemon Body Lotion is really good. They also have a lip balm called My Favorite Lip Balm. Good name because I'm always using this. Not all of their scents are good. They have a line of candy/chocolate scented lotions and soaps that make me want to vomit. Real chocolate = yummy. Artificial chocolate = gross. I like certain scents, and I'm stocked up for the winter. read more

I go here to stock up every six months on their half yearly sales. Why bother paying the premium when it's the same stuff. I find that this is probably the same with a lot of people because each time I go I swear I see the same people digging through the piles of soaps and lotions. I don't really like smelling too fruity or flowery because it attracts all kinds of bugs, mosquitoes, or adolescent boys. Their aromatherapy line is the way to go for me. They have soothing and sensual scents that are perfect after a long day at work. Break out the candles, pop in some jazz, turn on the jets in the tub, and swirl in your favorite scent -and that's a wrap. Most of their aromatherapy stuff is good except for anything that has Ylang Ylang it in. The heady smell bares a strong semblance to the fragrances that my grandma uses. I love her and all, but I don't want to go around smelling like a 75 year old little asian lady. Aside from the personal stuff, the home fragrances are also a winner in my book. Those little wall flowers are the best! They are small but they pack a punch and last pretty long too. My favorites are Spiced Cider for the kitchen (smells like mulled hot cider on winter days) and the White Linen for the bathrooms. I went to this Bath & Body (B&B) shop on a Friday evening with my family one day. I was actually just killing time because they were at one of the other stores in this plaza, but I liked the calmness and tranquility of this location. There were only a few other customers in the store besides me, and there was only one other guest in front of me in line when I was ready to check out. This store was well stocked with soaps, fragrances, candles and the like, but everything seemed more spread out. Definitely not a bad thing, as I felt like there was actually room to peruse the selection and leisurely go through the entire store. Maybe I'm just accustomed to the more-crowded store at Hawaii's Ala Moana store that I would visit when I was living on the island. I also appreciated the fact that this store was practically empty during my visit, so I could peruse the selection and wash my hands using the different soaps at my leisure. There were also more-than-helpful employees walking throughout the store who were easily accessible if I had any questions. It's nice not to have to hunt down an employee if you need help! I only purchased a few PocketBacs that day (the 5 for $5 special), but here are some of my favorite fragrances from B&B: "Pink Chiffon": This flavor is the epitome of all things feminine and dainty. It features a sweet pairing of pink petals and vanilla chiffon icing. It also reminds me of my favorite "Sweet Pea," but it's slightly different because it includes that hint of vanilla. "Country Chic": I have this fragrance in shower gel form, and I absolutely love it because of its light yet refreshing fragrance. I don't usually like the aroma of citrus, but for this blend, the combo absolutely works. It includes a medley of wildflowers, wood and citrus. The fragrance itself is sweet and floral, but it's not SUPER sweet because of the wood/citrus. If Taylor Swift came up with a B&B scent, it would be along these lines. "Be Enchanted": This is one of my more recent newfound favorites, due to both, its appearance and the floral scent. This charming mix features frosted florals sweetened with sparkling sugared pomegranate. I especially like the packaging of this scent (reminds me of an enchanted forest), as well as the fresh aroma of the florals. "Forever Sunshine": This fragrance first caught my eye because of its cute packaging and design--definitely reminded me of my favorite summer months--but I fell in love with the smell at first whiff. It features a blend of juicy tangerine, pink peonies and sweet praline. Again, while I normally don't care for tart/tangy flavors, this tangerine works because it's offset by the sweeter fragrances of the praline and peonies. This fragrance really does remind me of summer, with that subtle tangerine signifying the slow segue into musky fall. "Vanilla Bean Noel": B&B always releases seasonal holiday fragrances, and I think this one has to be my favorite. It features a blend of fresh vanilla and sugar cookies. Not only is the packaging cute, but this fragrance is light and sweet ... and, true to its name, it really does remind me of fresh-baked, vanilla-frosted sugar cookies. "Love and Sunshine": I haven't tried this fragrance yet, but based on its name and components, I'm sure I'll like it. It features a happy blend of sun-kissed daisies, fresh lemons and sweet strawberries. This fragrance's components remind me of a springtime flavor, thanks to the daisies and lemons, and I'm sure I would enjoy it. "Sweet Pea": This is probably my favorite scent from B&B. I have it hand sanitizer, soap and shower gel sizes, and I really like it not only because of its pleasant, sweet smell, but also because of its dainty, cheerful, girly pink hue. This flavor features sweet pea petals, white freesia and juicy raspberries. I definitely like "Sweet Pea" because the fragrance is really light; not super strong like some of the other ones featured at B&B. "Warm Vanilla Sugar": This is probably my second favorite fragrance at B&B because it includes two of my favorites--sugar and vanilla (sort of like a sugar cookie, if you're thinking in terms of food). This flavor features an addictive swirl of rich, creamy vanilla sprinkled with sparkling sugar. I love the sweet scent that isn't too overwhelming, and I also really like it when they dress up the packaging of this fragrance for the holidays (turns into "Vanilla Bean Noel," which is similar in that it features a blend of vanilla and sugar cookies). "Aqua Blossom": This pretty blue flavor is gorgeous to look at and fun to use, and its light, sweet scent does remind of you a tropical paradise. It features a seaside escape of ocean melon, white lotus and dewy gardenia. I have to admit, I first bought this scent because of its hue more than the smell--though I did like the smell--and I deviate from my usual "Sweet Pea" from time to time for this choice if I want a slightly different fragrance that still smells light and refreshing. read more

Stopped in here to buy candles as gifts. Smelled great inside. Two cashiers each ringing someone up. Both customers they were helping had some sort of coupon. No biggie, saving money is great. I was next in line. BUT what was annoying was the register on the left, I guess the customer was trying to use 2 coupons. The cashier told her it was one per purchase. But then said she could ring it up on a new transaction. And she sure took her time doing so. The register on the right, the lady got the wrong size items for whatever the coupon allowed so she had to go get the correct sizes. So just annoying that people with coupons get catered to, while I'm waiting for ages in line but paying full price. Maybe next time I'll print out a coupon and get waved over. read more

Lo and behold, one of the cashiers, a Hispanic girl with black hair (I do not know her name) told me that I can only get one single item up to $14. Gift sets are NOT included in the promotion according to her. I told her that I have redeemed this offer many times in the past, and no where in the guidelines does it stipulate that I cannot get a free item in the form of a gift set. She said it did not work yesterday when she rang up another customer, but I asked her to try it again today. She rang up my order, and guess what...? The order came through to be a little over $12 in which the gift set valued at $13.50 coming out as FREE. I am a regular shopper at their store because I work close by. I thought it was sneaky of her to misinform me in order for me to redeem something else but the gift set. LOL. Also, her attitude was not that great. So I stopped by Bath and Body works after I came across their Fall/Autumn ads. I am the biggest Pumpkin fanatic and walking in I was immediately hit with a wave of warm and toasty vibes. Robert was the one that greeted me and kindly went through all the scents with me. He is the ultimate candle expert. He had a story and and imagery for every single candle in that store. This review is completely based on the terrible service I received yesterday. This location is the BBW I often go to because it's down the street from where I work. I've been a shopper for years, probably since I've held my first dollar. All the way back to Freesia and Juniper Breeze days. So I am very acclimated to the type of service that's provided and the DEALS that are constantly being fed thru my emails and my social media accounts. Yesterday, I came into this store to check if I got the 40% of Surprise deal. I politely asked the lady by the counter to check what percent I got off because every time I tried to check online I kept receiving an error. She said that she couldn't check the discount until I bought something because the transaction needed to "total up". This didn't make any sense, but I turned around and bought some of the 3 for $6 travels sprays. The gentleman that was about to ring my up asked if I wanted to keep shopping since I had the coupon and I told him that the previous lady said it can't be check until I purchased something. He said no that I didn't need to do that and he could check himself. I ended up getting the 40% off Surprise deal so I proceeded shopping. As I was ready to purchase the same ignorant bitch that said she couldn't check my coupon rang me up. I thought, cot damn not this grouchy ass bitch again! Let me just say, if it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, smells duck..... IT IS A DUCK! So same bad behavior as expected! Damn, she was grouchy as fuck. When she finished ringing my stuff I asked why she was throwing my coupon away and she abruptly said it's a one time use anyway so I don't need it.
