I noticed a new gel and lotion set, Free as a Flower that is absolutely lovely. My one frustration with BBW is the discontinuation of lotion vs body cream, which is why I patronize the brand significantly less now. Maybe not definite NOT this location. There is a young woman named Guadalupe who was so helpful and nice, but other employees are nonchalantly rude. I was in the other day doing a return and buying something. I use a cane bc I have an autoimmune disease. At any rate I needed to use a restroom. 8 asked one employee, who was short and long grown hair (I did not get her name). She immediately said "No, I can't let you". Shutting me down and walking away. It wasn't her answer,but her attiude. So damn rude. Not going back to this location. read more

Love my recently added Bath & Body Works! The customer service is amazing! Each time I go I'm greeted and followed up with an inquiry to assist. I love that! sometimes I take them up on the offer to assist and sometimes I'm just there to browse and I am left to do so. No overbearing insistence. I recently signed up for the rewards program and now I feel like an insider who knows of all the special sale dates and one day flash deals. It's great and my home smells amazing! Didn't realize the store was getting ready to close and the lady that greeted me upon entry asked if I knew what I wanted and I did so she let me come in. Both associates were extremely helpful and I had the smoothest experience even in a time crunch! They made sure I took advantage of all the offers in my account and provided great suggestions. I needed this store in my life...Im obsessed with smelling sweet. Although Covid-19 delayed its grand opening, thankfully its in full swing in time for holiday shopping. The store has taken over where the former plus size women dress shop "The Avenue" was...loss for big girls clothes...but Im not mad at at having my skin feel luxurious and smell amazing! Came in for an online order. Got in line, I was 4th on the queue. Then when I got up to the cashier I was told sorry there is a pick up line and I had to move to that line. The sign for online pick-up was being covered on the counter. Very easy to miss. So, I patiently went to the other line. Someone helped me right after the person in front of me. Then the associate couldn't find my order. I was showing her my receipt confirmation on the phone it was ready for pick up. She did not look at it. She just asked for my name. Then she went in the back and was ready to hand me my order. But, another associate took the order and said she will verify. She did verify my order and was ready to hand it over. Then I said I'd like to purchase these mini sanitizers. She then tells me I have to go to another line to purchase. I'm already up at the cash register and now I have to get in line again. Not the most efficient system. Not the best service in my honest opinion. read more

Trina - store manager apparently- turning down people up to 20 minutes before closing time at 5pm so her previous employees could leave at 5. Her words. That's not how retail works. I worked retail for over 20 years and you get to close your doors at closing time and I've had to stay up to 2 hour later than closing time to "close" the store. Especially good when you hit the sales. I order online and have it delivered. Orders take a while so if a gift then order early.

I'm happy that a Bath & Body works finally opened up in Vallejo and now we don't have to travel to Fairfield or other parts of the bay to buy some car fresheners, soaps, candles, hand sanitizer and what not. The only downfall is that they close early on weekdays at 5:00pm which makes it difficult for those that work during the day. All of the employees were very friendly and helpful but I also noticed that they don't really have a wide variety of things available like hand sanitizers. Other than that I'm glad to see this store here, keeping the Gateway Plaza lively in Vallejo. For the most part there's plenty of parking but just be careful around the holidays because people tend to look into cars and smash windows. read more

Very friendly and your typical B&BW experience. The store is somewhat separated into a B&BW side and a White Barn side. I was never really sure why some stores have this layout because the the White Barn and Bath and Body works candles all smell the same to me. Nothing out of the ordinary, but 4 stars because this is a chain that alway displays consistency. read more

I ordered candles and lotions in the last month. 2 separate times. Candles came one was broken, glass everywhere! Cut my finger! Not terrible but still. Then ordered lotions. Most of them are bent, one body wash leaked. I have half of it. So these are not cheap. Maybe you should wrap better. Very disappointed. read more

This is such a great location. Trina, the store manager, is an excellent leader. She and her employees provide excellent customer service. They're super helpful and welcome. Every time I'm here and shopping, I meet a new friend. If I need anything, I will choose to shop at this location. I love this store. The ladies that work here are awesome. They all have good vibes to them. They help you with whatever you need. Yes the holiday are hectic for them but they handle it so well and make sure everyone gets in n out in a timely matter. BEST bath and body works in the area. Very organized, clean and has the most stock compared to the other B&BW. I've had a HORRIBLE experience going to the one in Emeryville and was hesitant to come shop with this company but I'm happy I gave them another shot. They were accommodating with my returns, always happy to help and are so friendly. I always have such great conversations with the ladies and their recommendations are always on point! Even during the SAS they were sure to interact and help me.
