Based on the reviews and pictures I saw I decided to give Three Buddies a try. Three Buddies was easy to find as it sits right on the main road. They have their own parking lot so there is ample parking so once I turned, I hopped into a park and we headed inside. Three Buddies has a simple decor as the design aesthetic is straightforward and leaves the focus on the restaurant name itself. The restaurant was very clean and had a diner style setup with ample seating. Once seated, the waitress approached us with a warm smile and cheerful greeting. She provided us with menus, took our drink order, and allowed us some time to review the menus in full. With a variation of halal items on the menu, Three Buddies had me wanting a little bit of everything. However, I decided to go with a classic approach and get the Chicken Sandwich (fried) with Onion Rings (both well done). Once our order was placed, it was back to the enjoyment of the ambiance as we engaged in our conversation. When our food arrived at the table, the visual presentation was extra enticing. The aroma was captivating and after saying grace, o was ready to eat. My go-to flavor is typically the ginger lime peanut (which is what I did this time), with the crispy panko chicken and avocado, but I also love the tahini cucumber feta (my husband's go-to). I've tried the sweet soy sriracha, queso verde queso, and polynesian chili mango which have all been pretty good but not my favorite. I do love their queso as a side with flatbread though. I've also tried some seasonal options which I've enjoyed. For proteins, the grilled chicken, spicy chicken, panko crispy chicken, shrimp, tofu, and baby Bella mushrooms are all good! I was not a fan of the new grilled steak sadly. Don't forget their chips! The bbq and regular sweet potato chips are both yummy. Additionally, service is always excellent! Love stopping in to eat or going through the convenient drive thru. Wish they had these all over the country!

I feel like the quality and consistency is better here than Chipotle or Gusto (at least the one I tried). I haven't tried all the other salad/bowl places nearby yet, but I do enjoy the freshness of the ingredients and options here. Their green goddess ranch is good (I haven't liked it at other places). I like their mushroom mix as well, probably even more than their steak. Their rosemary focaccia is a nice compliment to the bowls as well. I haven't had any bad items here so far. My overall experience at Batsi was enjoyable, thanks in large part to the vibrant ambiance and excellent service provided by your staff. However, I must bring to your attention a slight issue I encountered with the food. I had ordered the North Atlantic salmon cooked medium with grits, expecting a delightful culinary experience. While the exterior of the salmon was cooked to perfection, I was disappointed to find that the inside was still raw upon cutting into it. Nevertheless, I appreciated the swift action taken by your team to rectify the situation, allowing me to exchange the dish for the lobster egg rolls, which were absolutely delicious. As someone who holds Batsi in high regard, I believe that such mistakes should not occur in a restaurant of your caliber. However, I am pleased to note that the outstanding service provided helped mitigate any dissatisfaction I may have felt regarding the culinary oversight. Despite this minor setback, I remain a fan of Batsi and will continue to recommend it as a hot spot in Atlanta. Despite the lively TikTok videos that may suggest otherwise, the vibe was underwhelming. The drinks were decent, and the lobster rolls were just okay--not anything particularly memorable. The mac and cheese wasn't really as creamy as I like but it was still really good. I wanted to take my out of town guest somewhere they could only experience in Atlanta. On my 2nd visit, I had the wings & Brussel Sprouts from the "secret menu" (on Tuesdays, you can get a secret menu by asking the waitress, but you have to ask). I came here for the first time on memorial day and they had the grill going... Free bbq... "Because our axxses don't bbq anymore..." Thier words NOT mine lol... I agreed and showed up lol... Free bbq... free hookah (until 6pm) and happy hour drinks all day... I have seen their other specials... BUT hookah for taxes+tip... vs $50 everywhere else... BLOOD OF JESUS! Talmbou INNIIIT... I sat at the bar... I find you get the best service face to face and have more understanding when watching someone work as to their level of busy... So I was taken care of. Chris, the bartender looked out. I waited until 5:50 to order bbq and everything was gone... Oysters were good however we only could order 2 dozen total because they had to save for other customers. The drinks were okay however the bartender did remake it when I said, it tasted like juice. Also, the menu price of drinks was $16 but our check said $18..hmm! Overall it was a cool and we might go back.

The lemon drop tower was a fun addition to the table too. The food was the real star. The fried green tomatoes had the perfect crunch, and the berry French toast was hands down one of my favorite things we ordered. It was sweet, fresh, and full of flavor. I also ordered the Southern plate with fried chicken, collard greens, and yams. I really appreciated that they don't use pork in the greens. They use smoked turkey, and they were seasoned perfectly. The yams tasted homemade, not overly sweet, and the fried chicken had a crispy, well-seasoned crust with juicy meat inside. The creamy grits and fried catfish were another standout. The grits were smooth and creamy, and the catfish was fried just right. My cousin couldn't stop talking about the salmon sliders and the lamb skillet, so those were definitely a hit too. The service was friendly, the food came out hot, and the atmosphere made it easy to sit back and enjoy brunch. I left full, happy, and already thinking about what I want to order next time. If you've been looking for a brunch spot in Atlanta, I'd definitely recommend giving this place a try. From one Westside homegirl to another, the Eastside earned my respect with this one.

It was loaded with crawfish and instead of the typical spinach dip, it was made with collard greens which was a nice touch. The only thing I complained about was not having more! For drinks, we ordered the lychee martinis which were not lacking in flavor or alcohol. Loved. For the mains, we ordered the curry goat and rice entree (8/10), the mango hot honey shrimp (9/10), and oxtail rigatoni (8/10). Each dish had really strong flavor profiles which we really enjoyed. Overall it was a great visit and the staff were very professional and friendly.
