    Kale Salad and Beet Drink!

Oh my Goodness! Danbi nails it for healthy, seasoned and Yummy! I felt no guilt as I truly enjoyed my Kale Salad and fresh Squeezed Beet Goodness! Excellence!

    Andrea M.

The food was seriously fresh, tasty, and unique. I really love the fusion concept. I am not a vegetable fan, but the veggies were really fresh and pretty flavorful. Our group of four shared 5 dishes, and it was enough to fill each of us. The scallop barley risotto was really delicious! I think this was the fan favorite. The scallops were juicy and sizable. You'll get 6 of 'em. The risotto itself was flavorful and creamy. It was such glorified rice, but it was crazily delicious! The tuna takati poke was pretty wowing to me with the tuna and avocado pairing. The pickled cucumbers and side of salad was yummy imo. The whole group thought so too. It was just a simple dish that we gushed about with each bite. The wagyu bulgogi was so so. Maybe the group saw wagyu and thought it would be amazing. I'm not partial to bulgogi so this wasn't my major pick. The egg made things creamy and more interesting. The greens (apparently the kale kimchi) was really unique. The chicken schnitzel also was so so. The chicken itself was nicely schnitzel-ed. The pickled carrots and radish (called slaw) was an unexpected pairing but worked nicely with the breaded chicken. This pick was good, but the two picks above out shined this one. The swarma chicken was good, but it's sort of on the more basic spectrum and less crazy food profile. The tzatziki sauce and quinoa were good accompanying chicken thigh pieces. This would be a safe pick for particular eaters. Their menu is seasonal so don't expect the exact same thing. And apparently they also have a breakfast all day to try out. Until next time!

A great hole in the wall spot in Chamblee! We came for a quick dinner and the people there are so nice and the food is super delicious and healthy. Seating is a bit limited so most of the other people we saw going in got orders to go. You can either order on a standing tablet at the front of the restaurant or at the counter. Since it was just one person (the owner) cooking, the groups food came out one at a time. We had complimentary kale salad to start with which was amazing and I'd definitely get it when I'm feeling a salad. I had the cauliflower mash with steak and it was soooo good. The flavors are amazing and I couldn't even tell it was a cauliflower mash. Some pieces of steak were a little chewy, but overall the perfect medium. I can't wait to come back and I think Danbi is the perfect spot to stop by when you're in the area :)

Hokkaido scallops with fennel salad and zucchini purée

Today's Hokkaido scallops with zucchini purée and fennel salad (a weekly special that ends today) are the essence of spring, bright and refreshing and the scallops are cooked perfectly. I also got a side of beautifully cooked black cod for additional protein, moist but with a crisp skin. The quality and creativity of Danbi Seasonal Kitchen's dishes are comparable to the better fine dining restaurants in town and the prices are more than fair for the quality and quantity. This place is a gem that is well worth seeking out.

Still absolutely incredible, just adding a few recent pics...we tried the new beef bulgogi, side salad add salmon, kale salad (duh!), and ordered a side of squash. All were fantastic!

This place is seriously underrated. There should be a line literally wrapped out of the door. I've been here quite a few times for lunch and it never disappoints. First, the kale salad is absolutely to die for, it's a must have every time I come. Currently on the seasonal menu, the scallops are divine. The salmon is amazing me and my partner absolutely love to come here for lunchtime! The chef is amazing and has worked in Michelin star restaurants. Highly recommend perfect for a nice lunch or even for dinner as they are open until 8 PM. Really can't say enough about this place.

I saw this place on yelp nearby so decided to give it a chance. It was absolutely delicious. The menu is interesting and the food is tasty. It's a little pricey, but what isn't these days. I would return.

My friend and I stumbled across this gem not too long ago and it did not disappoint! From the warm greeting by the staff as we entered, to the fresh food the chef served - it was all delicious. My fav was the brisket bourguignon. SO much flavor! It felt homemade and it just really hit the spot. Did I stress how fresh the ingredients tasted? The side dishes, combinations of textures, and how he presented the food was amazing for the price we paid. Definitely affordable! I love the open concept and being able to see your food being prepared in real time, too. Will definitely be back!

Fresh, clean, and tasty. Well presented. I'll be back to try other stuff. Hope they add a little more options. Would love to see a great entree salad. And smiling faces to greet you. Guess I could add protein to the beet salad but was looking for a well composed salad.

The food is delicious. Kind owner/chef who ensured we had a great experience. I look forward to trying more of their excellent menu options.

    Cauliflower Mash with Salmon

It is my second visit and I love their food. I've tried all their menu and they are all so flavorful. I especially like the tuna tataki poke, cauliflower mash with salmon, Summer orchard beet salad and the beet juice! All served very fresh and pretty! They have weekly specials too so I will visit again to try them. And the chef comes up with different seasonal menu. I'm excited to see what he will have for Fall as well.

Coming into it, around early dinner time hour, it was fair to say a slow evening for a Saturday. This provided us a fair chance to be able to not feel rushed during this experience. Server and food runners were on point. Server knew the menu and what to suggest as popular meals and what his favorites were. He also informed us that food was made from scratch and the ribs were already sold out! Bummer as that would've been a go to choice! The restaurant it self seemed cleaned and a sleek look to it. We chose 2 fried chicken meals and steak and frite. These dishes were to brag about 100%, wish I could've met the head chef and supervisor on shift to let them how wonderful the food was and that the staff have great personality and professional! This chicken meals were beyond what could've fool me as a homemade chicken made by someone's grandma! The steak was cooked to perfection that could've melted in your mouth. Due to my son's birthday, the server offered a complimentary dessert for him to have! I recommend this place or their other locations 10/10!

At first there was a mix up with who was serving us do we got explained the drink menu twice. After our appetizer, we waited about 30-40 minutes for the rest of our items which took longer than we thought. They did give us some house made popcorn to keep us busy. Jahjoy pork belly: Tasty & tendor. I loved the papaya salad which left a refreshing contrast. A bit too saucy for me. Flavors were strong. Squid ink bucatini: our favorite! Must get dish - bucatini is perfectly al dente & the spicy sauce was very flavorful. Jumbo shrimp was delicious, and the anchovy on top left a nice strong flavor. Red snapper: This has some Vietnamese influences with the sauce. It was a lighter dish which was just OK for me, I would have liked the fish to have a crispier skin. Not much flavor besides the sauce which is inspired by canh chua. Wagyu flank steak: cooked to perfection and flavored well, loved the celery puree which was much tastier than we expected celery to be. Dessert was mint chocolate cake which was very tasty. I wish the cake was softer and meltier in the center but it was still good. Malt gelato was delicious. Could def taste the mintiness. Creme pat along the edges was a nice add to the cake with cacao nibs and popcorn for a textural contrast. I enjoyed it!! Overall we had a great meal and could tell the ingredients were very fresh. The presentation for all the dishes was beautiful!! We can tell the chef puts care in his food :) Appreciated the personal touch - they gave a handwritten card to my husband for his birthday!

The brussel sprouts came with bacon so I steered clear, but the others raved about them. The whipped goat cheese dip was also a nice choice with the garden veggies. Super creamy and refreshing.
