Parking- Private lot and plenty of parking. I've heard they charge but my party had a 5:30pm reservations and they open @5pm. Ambiance- Really lovely space. It is spacious and the color scheme is dark hues, really sexy blue velvet. The seating was comfortable. The music was a vibe, not excessively loud. Service- Our young lady did her best, not to say Service was bad, we just didn't get much personality. She was attentive to our party in the beginning, which was easy... it was only us. Not putting the blame on her because she wasn't making the drinks or preparing the food. We couldn't understand why it was such a long wait to get our drinks... but if I think about it, everyone had different drinks....so that would put time on getting them out. We could tell she was getting a little frustrated with us because of some of my partys frustrations. We all order there Oyster special and one ordered raw. Everyones loaded oysters came out before raw so there was questions as to why. Another party never got part of her order during our time eating and chatting, but they did do there best to make up by discounting the delayed raw oysters and comped the order that never came. Drinks/Food- I had a Kentucky Mule, though thr wait long, it was worth it and everyone was pleased with there drinks. Oysters all around and I can really say delicious! Loaded and raw. BATSI has a great location off Buford Highway and a sexy, spacious vibe with plush booths that are perfect for groups. The food was good -- the lobster mac & cheese and salmon bites were tasty and came out on time. That said, there are some important things to know. Parking isn't cheap ($10 self-park, $20 valet). Drinks are pricey, and both the bar and table checks were not itemized -- just totals. Because of that, we didn't realize gratuity was already included and ended up over-tipping twice. This happened more than once, which felt intentional.Also, no tap water -- only bottled water for $5. Overall: Nice vibes, but watch your bill very carefully. I truly support Atlanta's nightlife, daytime life, and the entire food and beverage scene, despite having had many negative experiences. Last Monday I saw that Batsi has a Happy Hour every Mon/Tues/Thursday...I got off a little early, changed, and headed out. I already knew they charged to park in their private parking lot, which I had already bitten the bullet about before my arrival. I went in and was asked if I had a ticket by the host stand. I said, "No, I'm here for Happy Hour." She said, "Okay and I went to the bar. The bartender asked what I would like to order, and I said "a lemon drop." She asked what alcohol, which led me to clarify if it was happy hour. She sternly said, "No!" I responded that if it wasn't, just take a look at the menu. Apparently, a film festival was held, and happy hour was cancelled without notice, smh. I ordered an $18 drink given in a 6oz glass with gratuity and tax, it came to $24...of course, the service was non-existent as most of the automatic gratuity establishments are. I paid $24 for an average 6-oz drink and $10 to park. Walking into the restaurant, is smelled like a dead rat, and the odor was sickening. The security & parking attendants are much more hospitable and nicer than the bartenders and wait staff. I just wish these establishments would stop advertising Happy Hour only to treat people poorly for attempting to support them. read more

Batsi is definitely a hidden gem in ATL. The inside is super cute with floral ceiling décor and neon lighting that make it a great backdrop for pictures. My food was delicious. The salmon was perfectly seasoned and grilled, the mashed sweet potatoes were smooth and flavorful, and the broccolini was fresh. Drinks were just as good and came out looking like they belonged in an Instagram post. Service was excellent. The staff here are genuinely kindhearted and attentive without being overbearing. It was not crowded during my visit which made it even more enjoyable. My only suggestion would be the music. They were blasting rap the whole time and while I enjoy the genre it took away from what could be a more upscale and relaxing vibe. So. I'm not one to offer negative reviews but will always provide constructive feedback. I hope that it's taken just as that. Paying for parking at a restaurant is asinine. Drinks are overpriced. Batsi felt like a typical brunch but at night. The music was loud (but a good mix). The food. Rarely, in my 48 years of living have I been served lukewarm food at a restaurant, especially one where fountain dispersed Minute Maid lemonade is $5 with no refills served in a skinny margarita glass. Short Rib sliders were extremely underwhelming and lacked seasoning and would have been inedible without the pickled onion. The Brussels Sprouts were ok and would have been great if they came out much warmer than they were. I don't remember seeing one server smiling unless they were talking to each other or other staff. The One Check system is trash and lazy. Definitely would not recommend this restaurant if you're looking to eat. Drinks and a turn up is the atmosphere. I will give them that. The restaurant has its own parking lot and parking was free the night I went, although I've read that they charge for parking on busy nights. We walked right in and were seated promptly. The restaurant itself is super chic and cute. Very Instagram worthy. There was a DJ playing the latest RnB and hip hop....although the music was very loud, I enjoyed it. The restaurant also had hookahs. Our server was nice. She checked in on us periodically to see if we were ready to order. The food and drinks are pricey. Drinks were about $20-$24 each. The appetizers were also in that price range so you can imagine how much the entrees were. I opted for the stuffed shrimp which was an appetizer for $22 and my friend had the egg rolls. Both were just ok...shrimp tasted like Old Bay. Definitely not worth the price. 4 shrimp with a little crab meat tucked inside the curve of the shrimp. I dined in at Batsi today (a Sunday afternoon) with two other ladies for a late brunch (2 pm ish) to celebrate my friend's birthday. It's $20 to valet and they make you pay it up front with cash, cash app or zelle. You can also park for free across the street and walk over. I opted to valet for convenience. They will check your ID and it is a 21 and over establishment. The security person was friendly. We were initially seated inside and I noticed the nice ambiance, velvet décor and a few dancers. However the music was really loud and didn't seem to match the atmosphere (it was giving club vibes, we heard Sexxy Red, Cardi B, & Latto etc.) so we switched over to the heated patio area. It was a bit warm, but we liked it better because we could hear our conversation over the music more. While waiting for our food a friendly photographer came over to take our picture for free. That was cool and I noticed that he and another guy were capturing photos throughout the restaurant. Our sever, Tania was very friendly and accommodating. She also helped me to select my brunch entrée and it was delicious. I DEFINITELY recommend the chicken biscuit (without the egg on it, I asked for mine on the side) and loved the blonde gravy. The potatoes were cooked perfectly with onions and peppers and complimented the well seasoned chicken. I decided not to drink any mimosas or alcohol because I felt that ALL of their beverages were pricey. One mimosa was $12, the mixed drinks were $16-20, and Coca-Cola product soft drinks and bottled Fiji water were $5. 20% gratuity was added automatically, but it was worth it for the service received. My friend and I dined here on a Saturday evening. We didn't make reservations, so we decided to walk-in for an early dinner at 6 PM. Upon arrival, parking is valet $10 or $20 for your car to be valeted and parked in the front. We were seated promptly and our waitress eventually got our orders. Service was very slow. We had to remind our waitress to bring us water--note, they only do bottled water. My friend ordered the short rib and I ordered the pasta with salmon; no complaints on the food. The drinks on the other hand were a different story. I ordered the Big O, and it wasn't great for it to be $20. Next, I found a fruit fly swimming (alive) in my wine; the manager offered good customer service and removed it from my tab and brought me a complimentary glass of wine. After dinner, we ordered a hookah and the entertainment started around 8:30P. The live dancers performed intermittently. The hookah is $50-it took awhile to make and it wasn't really pulling most of the time. We had to ask for coal refills a few times. After a couple of hours, we were told that a reservation was going to be seated behind us and asked to close out our tab. The waitress told us she couldn't separate or split our tab--for only 2 people. So, one card was accepted. Then, we moved to the bar to finish the hookah and we were told we had to purchase something from the bar in order to sit there. And btw, no one was actually seated after us, they just wanted to clear that table I guess. This place has the ambiance (cute aesthetics and music) and good food. Prior to arriving we had a reservation so we were seated immediately. The host was nice and quickly escorted us to the table. Once seated it did take a while for the waiter to come but eventually she came and we were able to order. We ordered lamb chops, Cajun pasta, chargrilled oysters, tostones, lobster eggrolls, calamari, and crab cakes. For drinks we got the Threesome, Big O, and Morning Wood. The only item that got minor complaints from the group was the lamb, but out of a group of 5 only one person disliked them. Everything else tasted really good. Here's my honest review: Parking is either valet or good luck finding your own lol I always park valet because I like to see my car in Atlanta but that's preference. It was $40 for me to park in front so keep that in mind. Reservations. Oh gheez why bother. We had a reservation for 11:30pm table of 6. They have a 2 hour table limit on nights where there's a lot of volume and let's just say it's not strictly enforced. We literally waited about an hour and a half to be seated as there weren't any tables. Also, there's a $50 no show fee. It is refundable but just keep that in mind. Our waitress once finally inside was actually really great, fun, and pretty and got our orders right the first time. The DJ was amazing! But the speakers were placed strategically over tables and we happened to sit under one. Couldn't hear a thing. So loud! Im surprised I can hear this morning. Gheez. Food was really good and so were the drinks. The hookah one was dull and one was really strong. At some point it should have just been replaced but we were having a good time so we just rotated the one. I would definitely go back but not a Saturday night because I do not like waiting more than 10 mins especially if I have a reservation and paid $40 to park. Had a 6:30 reservation on a Friday to meet with a friend. I arrived slightly late but was promptly seated by the polite hostesses. This was my first time at Batsi but I've heard good things. The layout is very deep artsy sultry vibes. It's pretty and highly Instagramable. I was worried it would be crowded on a Friday afternoon/evening, but I believe we hit a sweet spot in timing so it wasn't overwhelming at all. The drinks were delicious. Not heavy pours but appropriate for a restaurant and the costs ranged from ~$15-$30 for signature cocktails. The drinks do take a little while to come out but the food was very quick. I had the salmon which was tastier than I expected. Very good. I love restaurants that ask how I want my salmon cooked because it makes a difference. On to the entertainment! The first dancer came out after 9pm. She did spectacular and was engaging, dancing with us in the crowd. Batsi is definitely a fun spot for both after work vibes and special occasions. Spring is right around the corner, and I know that we are all looking for a patio to enjoy the lovely weather! Today I checked out Batsi and it did not disappoint. We where there celebrating my girlfriends birthday. The staff was very accommodating and was able to assist us with a party of 25 in the patio. We started off with hookah which is on special for $35 Monday -Wednesday. For appetizers we decided to try the Romaine Salad, Chesapeake Bay Oysters, Lobster Egg Rolls, & the Crab Stuffed Shrimp. DELICIOUS! I can't pick a favorite, all of the dishes where to good. For entrees we ordered a variety but the top 2 dishes that really stood out for me where the Braised Lamb Shank & the Buttermilk Fried Chicken [with a side of hot sauce of course ] The venue also had belly dancers perform through out the night for the guests enjoyment. I was mesmerized by the beautiful costumes worn by the dancers. There is complimentary parking which is always a plus in my book. All in all a success on my ongoing food ventures. I went with a couple girlfriends on a Wednesday evening so it was quiet when we arrived but picked up as it got later. I was a bit turned off by the strong smell of seafood but it dissipated after a while or I just got used to the smell. Our waitress was very polite and attentive. The drinks are really good and also photo worthy whether they are smoked or in queen inspired cups. The food was tasty and came out pretty quick. I'm not a fan of the setup - you can def tell it used to be a strip club Parking: Its $20 to valet which is absolutely ridiculous and they will not move your car until they receive it via cash app or cash. My feedback would be that restaurants in buck head don't charge and there's no option for self parking. Service: My friend made reservations, and of course like many restaurants in Atl - you have to put a CC down because if you cancel they charge you $50. The service was 7/10 - our waitress was good and the staff seemed attentive and friendly. We did have to wait 20 minutes before she greeted us, which was fine because we got to chat. Keep in mind you only get 2 hrs. Ambience/Crowd: The crowd is mixed but it's def a come as you are crowd when it comes to attire. We didn't experience the dancer but I'm sure that's an experience. Food/drink : 4/10 for food - we had the calamari & fried oysters for appetizers. I had the chicken with broccolini and my friend had the salmon with Mac and cheese. I prefer my mac and cheese to be baked which this was not - there was too much sauce on the chicken and they put it on top of the broccolini And Mac - which I understand because I substituted it for the mashed potatoes. Visiting this restaurant was a rollercoaster experience. I went for a friend's birthday on a Saturday night. Parking $20. I expected to pay, but $20 is a bit much. So we get inside, the reservation was at 9. We were not seated until around 9:45!! My friend kept inquiring about what was going on and was told they were "switching over" but that we were next. I then observed a party who came in after us get seated. So we asked again and finally we got seated... The ambiance is...different. Now what they've done to the place is amazing! The decor is absolutely beautiful and you'd never know this was previously the strip club lol. However, the music is sooo loud. It felt like the club, but with nice seats and dinner. There is no way you can have a conversation or you're yelling at the person next to you and probably still can't hear. The dancers were beautiful and I'm glad we caught them. That was definitely a plus. A new experience for Atlanta. The drinks were ok. Presentation is nice. The food was actually really good. I got the pasta with chicken, even though it's in the seafood section. The waitress was just ok. She spoke very softly which was a challenge with it being so loud. Cons: there is not bottomless mimosas and although they offer various flavors such as strawberry, mango, etc for $12 a glass, it's weak and no real taste like a true mimosa. You can get a bigger glass but you pay $45 which is overpriced and not bottomless. They don't give water for free, you pay $5 for a bottle of water. We had a party of 13 and it all had to be on one ticket, so we spent almost 20-30 mins trying to calculate who owes what and who is paying since they couldn't split the tickets. The exterior is simple with cool up lighting which gives a real romantic feel. Inside an all blue dim lit vibe that immediately feels like a good time. Disappointing Experience with Valet Service I recently visited BATSI , and while the dining experience was OK , I unfortunately had an issue with the valet parking service. Upon Arriving to dining, I noticed significant damage being done to my vehicle, which was clearly caused while it was in the care of the valet team. The damage was caused by them running over a parking cone & them pulling it & punching my bumper with out my permission & breaking the clips ! and it was very disappointing to find this after trusting the valet with my car. When I raised the issue with the staff, I didn't receive the level of professionalism or care that I expected. I understand accidents can happen, but the lack of accountability or effort to resolve the situation left me frustrated and disappointed. I waited the whole night for someone to speak with me about the issue, even Security seen everything ! I hope the restaurant will take this feedback seriously and improve their valet service, as I would have expected better from an establishment of this caliber. Went for a friends birthday. Food is way over priced. Slow service. Good food pics and that's about it.

I took a little to no pictures while visiting this restaurant and that's because experience with so underwhelming. We went to this restaurant in late August my friend wanted somewhere different for her birthday and I had been seeing Batsi on IG. She is a dancer so I knew she would enjoy the live dancers in the environment. She made her own reservation accounted for her party size. I had called every Thursday leading into the reservation to make sure that the live dancers would be available because we were going on a Thursday and not the weekend I was sure that the dances come after 9 PM Thursday through Sunday. We arrive at the restaurant the day of - the initial seating they had for us did not fit her party size but she did have a few last-minute additions to her party. When we went they were not busy from the time we arrived so the time we left so I'm not sure why they didn't put us in one of the private wrongs especially seeing as the dollar amount we spent. Batsi is a one check restaurant as well so if you have a large party please make sure they bring cash gratuities are also automatically included. I Sent my significant other to the bar to get us a drink since the party was so large while we were waiting for them to change our seating arrangement he paid almost $46 at the bar for three drinks. A Lemon drop, a Jamison shot and a beer... We were finally seated outside in their covered patio area the booth seating on one side wasn't convenient necessarily for the party ... but we dealt with it. For spacing we asked can we pull up 1 singular extra chair ;we were told they didn't have any additional chairs. Again mind you we are literally sitting on the outside patio by ourselves where there are multiple tables with chairs so I'm not sure why the host was being difficult but we ended up taking a chair for one of the other tables anyway. The party was large but it was no more than 16. I again cannot emphasize how they were not busy. On top of that-- it is late August in Atlanta so it was a little humid on the patio we had to ask several times for the AC to be cut on because it was so hot. everybody in the party was sweating -- most of the ladies were in short cocktail dresses with spaghetti straps and thoroughly sweating. Being that we were one of the largest parties in the restaurant for at least two 2 1/2 hours ...you would think management would come out and speak or ask how the party is doing we saw no member of management the whole time we were there. . Around 930 I inquired on if the live entertainment was coming our waitress verbatim told us "they come and they want to... we don't know" Like I stated I had called weekly to guarantee that this will be part of the birthday ambience and I was thoroughly let down. So now we're in a overhyped, overpriced, Instagram popular restaurant without the ambience and entertainment that draws you to the restaurant. This is what people mean when they say people throw grass walls and find something to hook you in -- but the service is terrible. The food was OK nothing to brag home about same for the drinks. We could've booked at a nicer restaurant or somewhere different in the city. It was again underwhelming! We Finally get our check & everything is placed on one check- they will not itemize so either split evenly or guarantee your party has cash ( you know your friends ) I did see a couple of comments about paying for parking ...that specific night which again was a Thursday night between 830 and 900 when our party arrived nobody paid for parking. The TikTok girlies tricked me. Batsí definitely has an immersive vibe. You feel like you are no longer in Atlanta. From the decor, the server uniforms,carnival dancers, DJ, and exceptionally crafted cocktails on every table. The food was the total opposite. Definitely the worst I've had in Atlanta. The entire dish lacked flavor. The sauce was was unbelievable. The table next to us (party of 6) asked if liked our food because they all were disappointed. We took two bites and asked for the check. I hope the kitchen improves because I would love to return once the food is better. Perfect place to celebrate any occasion! The ambience was great great customer service is the environment to go to have fun but not to eat or drink. The drinks were weak. The pasta was greasy the oyster taste like it came out of the can. The shrimp was overcooked. and was greeted by a roach on the wall when I was leaving. read more

We made reservations here for a Thursday evening. Reservation process was very easy. Book online and it gets approved. There is a message option to communicate with the restaurant. They get back to you pretty fast. I liked that! This location is the old follies. Parking lot is small. I read reviews about valet but it was free self parking when we went. I'm assuming bc it was a slow night. I was excited to go here bc of all of the cool videos on IG. If you are looking to go here for the food and entertainment do not go on a Thursday. Lol The entertainment is only Fridays , Saturdays and Sundays. We were kind of bummed about that. The staff was friendly & accommodating. The decor is very cute! Great photo ops. Everything we ordered was good and fresh. Food came out in a timely manner drinks were Also good. They only have bottled water which is $5. The drinks are on the expensive side you are looking at $20 + per drink. For one person you are looking to spend around $80 + for food and drink. Gratuity is added to your bill as well.
