I search this up after kids museum and found this hidden gem on a Sunday afternoon, we ended up order some nachos, kids Mac cheese and some wings, service was good, food came out promptly, nachos was good on point chips were nice and crunchy and not soggy the sauce compliments the chips, wings with fogo sauce fries were so good better than wings stop was really good Mac cheese was good also, definitely will be back for other foods, parking is nice and open plenty.

The Game Changer burger was ON POINT!

If you haven't been here since the new owners took over just know the vibe just isn't the same, normally that's okay because change is good, but I didn't care for the atmosphere, service seemed very blah, not that they were rude but almost like they didn't have enough customers around to care.... No dessert was available They didn't know we had a RSVP Food overall was DELICIOUS! Try the Blackberry burger!

Lunch today at Bauer's By Saxon was really good. Great vibe, friendly service and good food. The fried zucchini was excellent. I had the mango shrimp salad and it was delicious. My husband had the fireman burger with fries. The burger was very juicy and very messy. He did not like the fries because they were not very crispy and had a sugary spice on them that tasted sweet. I would definitely go back and try something different.

Was pleasantly surprised by this unassuming burger joint! Started our meal off with the Brussel sprouts. So crispy and lemony! My only complaint is that I wish there was more, as the portion was on the smaller side. My friend got the octavian and liked it. It was a spicy pork, linguica, mushroom, onion, and cheese sandwich. It was one of the featured items on Diner, Drive-ins, and Dives. I ordered the brie bg. I've never had a burger with these kind of flavors! It was topped with a creamy brie cheese and sweet blackberry jam. It was a solid choice, but next time I'd like to explore their menu and try something else. The fries were so yummy! They were covered in this addicting sweet and salty seasoning. The ranch and ketchup were homemade and the perfect complement to my burger and fries. I will be back to Bauer's for elevated bar food!

    Pastrami fries, wrecked into.

The food was so good, we didn't get a picture before we dug in. The pastrami fries: all ingredients tasted fresh with the combo of the sweet fry seasoning on an already yummy dish. The Brie burger was unique and sweet + savory dish. The cocktail from the bar was not too overwhelming with gin, but you felt it was there mixed into the sweet mixers + fruit. Karely was a helpful and pleasant host!

Staff was super friendly, went out of their way to make sure the tables were tidy, and refilled drinks really quick. The restaurant is smaller than you expect it to be, but it is cozy, friendly, and not overly loud. We only had a 10 minute wait when we arrived and they were packed. Our waiter Kyle was on point, introduced himself and dropped the special of the day with gusto. If I hadn't already had a ton of carbs for the day I would have gone with it. Ended up ordering the scallops, and fried zucchini appetizers. Scallops are served almost like a soup. The sauce in the bowl was to die for. I'm thinking white wine, and lemon were the major components. It was phenomenal. Fried zucchini was super tasty and is coming home with us. I'd swear it was enough to feed 4 people. For mains, we ordered pot roast and fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. Wife loved the pasta and chicken. Surprisingly enough she ate it all, none to go which is super rare for her. Pot roast was fantastic. Mashed potatoes were on point, the mixed vegetables were amazing. Here, you order your food, grab a number, and find your own seat for the food to be brought out to you. We sat at a table outside to decide what to order. There were no menus available so we just had to search for it online before heading inside to order. Despite being third in line from the register, we had an extremely long wait to order. There was only one person running the register who also had to make the drinks, meaning the service incredibly slow. We wanted to order the five taco platter, garlic fries, chicken Caesar salad, and mimosa pitcher. Sadly, we were only able to get the pitcher and salad. The cashier told us "sorry, we aren't doing fries right now." Not doing fries? Every plate in the vicinity had fries on them. She said that because it was brunch hour, only food on the brunch menu could be ordered. We looked at the brunch menu again and literally saw garlic fries as an option as a side for the burgers/sandwiches. No where did it specify that you can't order off the other menu and both were available online. What bothered us about this is that we placed this order at around 1:50pm, and brunch ended at 2:00pm. I understand that we are not entitled to things on the lunch menu during brunch-time for items like the tacos, but considering the menu swap was less than 10 minutes away and they were quite literally were "doing fries" at the time, it didn't make much sense to us. The only food that we ended up ordering was the Chicken Caesar Salad. This one dish took a super long time to receive. By the time it was brought out, the three of us nearly finished the Mimosa pitcher. The waitress noticed we had no silverware and said she would go grab us some. Because of how the service had been going thus far, we placed a bet on whether or not the waitress would come back with the silverware. Surprise, surprise. She didn't. We had to go inside later and search for silverware ourselves. We weren't even able to get sharing plates which was upsetting since the waitress asked us if we would be sharing the salad. The salad itself looked delicious, but was bland. The dressing was missing that zing and zest that a Caesar dressing typically has. I do appreciate that is was a chopped salad, had avocado, and seasoned croutons. It is just unfortunate that it was lacking any flavor at all. The food prices are quite affordable for the quantity of food you receive though. This experience was disappointing because I was so optimistic about the place. The menu looked good, it had fun and casual vibes and a cool crowd of people. If Commonwealth worked towards better service practices, it would have been a more positive experience.

I have left wonderful reviews in the past for this place but I have to share my experience…read morerecently. My boyfriend and I have been to Standard Pub several times during the day, and every visit has been fantastic. We've enjoyed the food, drinks, and even had the pleasure of speaking with the owner on multiple occasions. The service was always welcoming, and the food was consistently phenomenal. Because of those great experiences, we decided to bring some friends on a Saturday night. We arrived around 7:30 PM, and the atmosphere looked promising. There appeared to be a DJ setting up, and the crowd seemed excited for a night of music, food, and drinks. Unfortunately, our experience that evening was completely different from what we had come to expect. We ordered food and drinks, and while our server wasn't outright rude, he seemed uninterested in providing the level of service we had previously received. As the night went on, things became increasingly odd. Shortly after ordering another round of drinks, while our drinks were still full and we had just received them, the server approached our table and asked if we were finished. My boyfriend jokingly responded, "No, let me talk to your manager," and laughed, assuming the server was joking as well. The server responded, "Yeah, it's my brother," but with an attitude that left everyone at our table looking at each other wondering what had just happened. He then informed us that we needed to put a credit card on file. At that point, we had already been there for over an hour, and it seemed strange that this requirement was only being brought up then. We also noticed that no other tables around us were being asked for a card. The most disappointing part came when we received the bill. There was an additional $60 service charge added--$35 on my friends' bill and $25 on ours. Confused, we asked for an explanation. The explanations we received kept changing. First, we were told it was because my boyfriend was sitting with another group, which was completely false. Then we were told it was because the bill exceeded $100. After that, we were told it was because there were more than six people in our party, despite there only being four of us. The inconsistent explanations were frustrating and made it feel as though the staff were simply making up reasons to justify the charge. Our issue wasn't necessarily with a service fee itself--it was the lack of disclosure and the conflicting stories we were given when we asked about it. To make matters worse, the receipt also included a separate line for an additional tip. After discussing it with them and explaining that additional charges should be clearly communicated to customers, the service charge was ultimately removed. This review is not a reflection of the food, which remains excellent, nor of our previous experiences at Standard Pub. It is solely based on the service and handling of the situation during our Saturday night visit. We left feeling disappointed and confused, especially because this establishment had earned our trust through many positive visits in the past. I sincerely hope this was an isolated incident and that management addresses these issues so other customers don't have a similar experience

The food was just your typical diner type, greasy spoon kind of place. I got an egg white omelette with ham (looked like cut up pieces of thin sliced deli meat) and asked that fresh potatoes be boiled in water or steamed in water due to food allergy. What I got was fried potatoes. When I questioned the server he just said that's how they come. Do they not have raw potatoes in the back they could have boiled for me?? The taste of the omelette was meh and I only ate 4 bites. I obviously didn't eat the potatoes. The English Muffin felt oily, like someone touched it with greasy hands. I had asked for it to be dry and with no butter. So basically I didn't eat any of my food and will not be back (this was my third time here and none of the other experiences were any better.) Such a shame because it is only 5-minutes from my house. My dad ordered the chicken fried steak and my mom got the taco salad and both of their meals were inedible too. The food here is just BAD. I told the server I didn't like my food and he didn't even answer me. He took away three plates of uneaten food and no one asked if there was an issue and no manager bothered to come over to even talk to us or try and make it right. What a HUGE waste of money. Don't bother eating here...so many other places to eat that are so much better. This place was packed and no real waiting area...everyone just squished together. This is a hustling and bustling place, so if you are looking for a quiet spot, at least don't go when we did. Best part of this place is their wall for taking pictures. I think they care more about making things look IG worthy, than the quality of the product they are serving.

I'll be honest, I walked into Chinn's International with some doubt. Asian food, hamburgers, and a…read morecraft beer taproom? I figured that they had an identity crisis and didn't know who they wanted to be. Then we ordered the smash burgers and everything made sense. It reminds you of what real, high quality beef is supposed to taste like. It wasn't just a good burger. It was an ah ha moment of what I've been settling for in other restaurants. Chinn's International knows exactly who they are- a place committed to excellence and an interesting and diverse menu representing their multi cultural heritage. Many of them were disappointed that there wasn't a salad option. What caused me to take away stars, was the lack of common sense of the man who seemed to be in charge. We were a group of 15 and he expected us to make do with two menus!!! Good grief! He did print us out more once I pointed out how awkward it would be to share so few menus! Again, we were a large group and he told the counter lady to give us all the same number! NOPE! I countermanded that ridiculous notion. We each had separate checks and ordered separately! Our orders were brought without silverware too. I got my steps going back and forth getting items that were needed.
