I had a problem with the circuit breakers not making good connection to the busbar, they very quickly replied to my request and had an electrician out the same day. They fixed the circuit breaker issue but there was a mistake made rewiring it due to some of the then-unknown peculiarities present in many old buildings. I told them my dryer no longer had power after they came out to fix the breakers. They came out to take a look, diagnosed the rewiring mistake and acknowledged it, and corrected it. I decided to put in recessed lights after my rental unit had to be fully gutted due to a fire. I figured it was a good time to put recessed lights in while the walls were open. Shane was very quick to respond to my pricing inquiries. The work was also done in a timely manner. Their pricing was very reasonable in comparison to others. Shane was also very helpful in navigating the city inspection and permits process. We had to do a little extra work to be up to code and he didn't price gouge me. These guys did a great job the first day they came out. Had major electrical issues that they took care of quickly. Had some outlets replaced and some exterior lighting installed. But unfortunately it went downhill fast from there. They forgot to hook up one of the lights they installed and ran wires to and realized it after they left the house. Now a week later I'm still trying to get them back out to do a 20 to 30 minute job. Been told three times they are coming to finish and stood up three times. Now I'm at the point where I hire someone else to finish their job or I get up in the attic and do it myself. Part 2: Ended up finishing the job myself. I understand I had several things going on and one was a safety issue but I am also responsible for the job being done. I didn't bother looking over the complete job before they left. So I have give a three star because we both failed for that. But promising to come back out several times and forgetting negates a five star rating. Thanks for the work Baumel Brothers. read more

Thank goodness we found Shane at Baumel Brothers! We had hired a contractor to build an ADU, & caught him trying to put a 110 line in for an electric stove (should be 220) plus we kept failing inspections because the fixes called out were not done. I asked point blank "Do you have a licenced electricial you work with?" he admitted that he didn't. I found Baumel Brothers on Yelp and had him get an estimate to correct the several mistakes, My contractor fussed and fussed about having to hire a real electrician but I put my foot down. Shane and his crew were wonderful. Quick, efficient & honest and wouldn't let the contractor weasel him into doing substandard work. After Shanes crew was finished we passed all of the electrical portions of the build. We (and our future tenants) now have a safe property. Thank You Shane! My new perminante electrician. read more

Baumel offered us excellent service at a quality price. We initially called them on a Saturday afternoon due to a large power surge that affected our home. Although they were closed for the weekend, we received a call back and got some advise. After this event, we asked Baumel to come in and replace our existing panel to a 200 V.
