We had dinner there there the other night and the food was Amazing . Not what I expected from a so called sports bar. The service was unbelievable, Billy was our server and paid attention to every detail we never had to ask for anything, and he even went out of his way to make sure we knew what we were ordering and getting the best deal . I wanted some wings while we were here for spring break and this place came up on Yelp. We arrived here the vibe was cool. We sat outside on the patio, they also have games to play while you wait. I started with the bang bang shrimp it was great. The shrimp was fried perfectly and it already comes with a side of ranch. I hated the sauce wasn't covering the entire shrimp but at the same time I wouldn't want soggy shrimp. I ended up ordering the traditional Carolina bbq wings and Ragin Cajun. I loved the ragin cajun flavor seasoned just right. I also ordered the Char boiled chicken with Bam sauce. The chicken was cooked perfectly. Those mushroom gravy potatoes were phenomenal. The gooey fries were pretty damn good as well. I really liked this place and enjoyed the hell out of my meal! This place has gone way downhill. Walked in to sit at bar and it was covered end to end with the waste from previous customers. It sat there our entire meal. When our food arrived we waited a while to get the condiments and utensils to eat with. I finally got up & asked for utensils from the hostess & condiments from a nearby table. A rainy day brought us off the beach and to the outlet mall and by the end we need sustenance! Luckily this little bar and grill is right there. We enjoyed some cocktails and apps and dang, they were solid. Our waitress was an absolute doll. As far as the food - the onion strings were 10/10. The chicken nacho things were just meh. The kids loved the spicy fried shrimp but I couldn't try them because they were too spicy for me. My husband and I were in the mood for a good hamburger and wings, which we thought would be good choices at this establishment. The hamburger was bad! The wings were really good! Hamburger tasted like one of those frozen patties you get at the ballpark concession stands. The meat was thin and almost tasteless. We chose Garlic Parmesan for the wing sauce. We voiced to the manager that we did not like the hamburger. She pointed out that we got the Tailgate, which was their smallest hamburger. She added all the other burgers that were higher priced had a bigger piece of meat. She took that item off our bill and another drink. I pointed out how I like them giving drinks due to inflation. We stopped in about an hour before closing time on a Saturday night. Hostess was friendly and welcoming and there weren't many customers. It took a few minutes for our server to show up to the table but we made our drink order. It took a bit longer than expected to get since there weren't many people there. Only 4 people at the bar. First time customer. First off the hostess taking us to our table was slower than a Funeral procession. I ordered the fried pickles for an app. They were very good. I got 10 traditional wings, bbq sauce with a 911 heat. Again very good. For a side I got the curly fries with the blanco queso and bacon. Nice flavor. What everything had in common was they were all room temp at best. Long story short, sloooow service. I liked the place. I'm a huge old school football fan so I really enjoyed the atmosphere at this restaurant. I will come back and hopefully service will improve. read more

Definitely a great wing spot but with more than just wings. The lunch menu was great and had lots of options. Our server took great care of us. Lots of TVs to watch sports. There were some dishes ordered that I will have to go back for. Everything was delicious and all plates emptied. The wait was 7-15 minutes. Baumhower's Victory Grille is a sports-themed restaurant chain that was founded in Alabama. The Foley location, which opened in December 2023, is their newest addition. It's in the Tanger Outlet complex in Foley, and a nice spot for sports enthusiasts and food lovers alike. Their menu offers a wide range of tasty options, including their famous buffalo-style chicken wings, naan, nice appetizers, salads, sandwiches, bowls, lots of meat choices, signature cocktails, beer by the pitchers, desserts, and much more. I do however take issue with the fish or "whitefish" being the dreaded Swai, bassa, or whatever disguise name that's given. It's an very cheap Asian farmed fish that I will never eat, because I know too much about the sourcing. Only fresh fish when you're on the Gulf of Mexico please, costs you a star.  Okay moving on, I have been here a couple times and most recently with my Friends & Neighbors Friday group, twenty of us. The service was good but it was pretty noisy. On to the food, they have pretty good chips with salsa and queso, the Bam-Bam Shrimp App is Thai Sweet Chili sauce, scratch-made buttermilk ranch and is a not bad at all. Then #1 son was apparently hangry because he ordered the Victory Burger. That sandwich is a double stacked monster that's a full pound of meat, applewood-smoked bacon, American and Monterey jack cheeses, scratch-made blanco cheese, LTOP, on an onion bun, and if that wasn't enough calories he added a big helping of Mac n Cheese! Kids, right? LOLOL My honey got the Hamburger Steak, that's a 1/2 pound grind, garlic mashed potatoes, mushroom gravy, green beans and garlic bread, and you can make it a pound, sheesh :-0 Then  I jumped on the Bam Bam Chicken, a fried chicken breast with sweet Thai Chili sauce, served with wild rice, and sweet potato fries which was okay, but chicken a bit dry. For dessert I shared something with #1 son, Fried Banana Pudding, yep this was a first, was indeed delicious 'nana pudding, wrapped in pastry and deep fried and topped with powdered sugar, whipped cream, caramel and crumbled vanilla wafers, interesting and good.  Bottom line: The staff are friendly, our server Armani was terrific, the food is reasonably priced and with 60 TVs and a lively atmosphere, it's a great place to catch a game, grab a drink, and enjoy some tasty food. My mother and I went here on Black Friday right when they opened (9am). It wasn't busy at all, in fact, our server (Amanda) only had one other table. Everything was fine until we ordered our food, the food was alright but our server came over to give us our drinks and didn't remember which was Dr Pepper and which was Pepsi, so she SNIFFED our drinks. Put her nose in the drinks over and over again trying to tell the difference. We weren't overly upset until we got the bill and she didn't say or show the total. She just grabbed the card and swiped and then turned the handheld machine around so we could add a tip. We only saw the total once we added a tip. We aren't from here, but we will not be back again. I'm sure the business is great, but there needs to be more reinforced rules to ensure everyone is following FDA guidelines. read more

I enjoyed Baumhowers in Montgomery. The new Foley/Gulf Shore location at the Tanger Outlet mall does not disappoint! We ordered off the Inflation Bites menu and it was a great value for the low price. Jerk chicken included the black beans and rice along with fresh broccoli. Portion was generous and tasted great. Also ordered was the Ranch BLT. Another large portion with twist--pita bread! Dessert included a slice of Priesters Fudge Pie. BTW - drinks are included on the IB menu. Alec our waiter was great. Attentive but not hovering. Of course the all around sports on multiple screens and a comfortable building temperature made for an enjoyable dinner. As a local, the waitlist is a great feature, too.
