Bay Area Contract Carpets did a wonderful job for us, from the initial estimate to the first repair attempt (our problem got in the way) to the final, successful installation. The job was relatively small but ended up being somewhat complicated. We needed the flooring beneath our toilet replaced to re-anchor our toilet. When BACC got there and pulled up the flooring, they realized the subfloor was damaged and needed to be replaced before they started their work. I was able, thanks to a couple of other good tradesmen, to get the subfloor replaced by the next day, at which point BACC's guys showed up and completed the work so that our plumber could finish the toilet installation. BACC's flexibility and attentive professionalism turned a job riddled with complications into a pretty uncomplicated thing. When we redo our floors downstairs, they will be our first call. read more

Being on a tight budget, we decided to carpet our three bedrooms using remnants. We found this business through the web and is rated A+ by the BBB. The warehouse is well organized and clean. Ken was very helpful and did not pressure us and encouraged us to look through the selection of remnants. Armed with measurements of the three rooms, we picked out our rolls of carpet and scheduled a date for the delivery. The installers arrived promptly and began work immediately. They did an excellent job! Regardless of what type of carpet you choose, you must request for Angel, Juan, and Maggie. This team does clean, professional work and fast! Totally positive experience. Our job was 2 rooms of carpet, carpeted stairs, and 2 areas with luxury vinyl plank flooring. The staff in the showroom, the estimator and the installer were all helpful, professional and on time. The job required a lot more floor prep that we'd thought, but they kept to the original estimate even though extra time and materials were needed. During the installation I pointed out a couple things that didn't seem quite right, and the company and the installer took care of them without question. Their price was the lowest of the bids I received. I suspect this is partly because their showroom isn't in one of the expensive commercial districts, but rather in a warehouse near the Coliseum. Please forgive me guys :) I first met Ken at Bay Area Contract Carpets in 1991 and hired his company to carpet my 2 bed 2 bath condo. I chose a nice wool berber carpet. The carpet was of great quality, the install came out great, and the detail was excellent. From that day forward, I have and continue to recommend many many friends, family members and real estate clients to this professional and family owned & operated business. Ken, Kevin, John and Myriame have always been very professional, responsive, and have provided a quick turn around time for installation. Bay Area Contract Carpets has a large warehouse w/ a great selection to choose from. If they don't have it, they can sometimes get it. And I haven't found anyone who can beat their pricing. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for flooring. And if you call in, forget about mastering the identity of who you're talking with when it comes to Ken, Kevin and John. This place is amazing, do not go anywhere else! I was in a major jam trying to get into our commercial property before a holiday and needed to carpet our offices. Myriame was able to find carpet tiles for us and get them the next day (every place we called said order was a 10 day wait). Order them and get them installed in a couple days.
