My husband and I were looking for some mats to use for our garage gym. We ended buying 4 pieces of 4' x 6' mats here. I am super happy we did because they are great quality. We've had them for about a week now and do not smell any kind of chemical/rubber smell. We spent about $200 for all 4 mats ($55 each). This was a good price compared to $75/mat at other places. Have not been down here since the pandemic first started. We live an hour away. We had been looking for a horse shelter and extra panel/gate. We decided to buy new. Shaun was extremely helpful and very responsive by text messaging. He was able to fabric a gate/panel to our specifications within a day. Once we arrived, he helped load everything. I would buy from here again - knowing they can fabric custom panels. We plan on ordering a couple of custom ones in the near future. I started shopping around for horse stall mats for a garage gym I'm outfitting and gave this place a call. They were the most expensive out of the 4 locations I called and more expensive from pretty much all websites online but they end up charging freight and shipping costs. For a 4x6 mat it ran us $65 per. Most places were in the mid to low 50's but this place was local to us here in Livermore - they offered to deliver them all the same evening for like $15 or something like that so because of the convenience and the idea that we'd be supporting a local business made up for the extra cost per mat. Our transaction and business here was pretty straightforward so unfortunately I don't have too much to add in terms of a service standpoint but because everything went smoothly we left satisfied with our purchase. read more

My wife and I have been longing to raise our own chicken for eggs for a variety of reasons. (1) eggs are really expensive nowadays (2) even though they claim the farm is organic, you never knew how they raise their chickens (3) you can keep the chicken as pets, free range chicken eggs are better? haha So anyhow, I browse through Yelp and surprise to see this business located in livermore. I've been going to livermore for wine tasting and dining, never thought livermore would have a place like this. I took a lot of pictures that day and they are in yelp now, basically this place has everything you need to start raising hens, from feeds, to pine shavings to the hens themselves. They would led you into the hen area, where you will also see ducks, goats and other animals. You need to let the guys know what kind of chicken you are looking for. The guys there are extremely knowledgeable, they would let you know if they hens are ready to laid eggs, or getting close. I recommend the ones of 6 months and older, they are easier to raise and no need to worry too much about the warmth issues. They have a few kinds of chicken and they will let you know how each of their behaviors are. In the end we picked up 4 very healthy hens. We also see some bunnies at the other side of the lot, just fyi. Overall if you want to start raising chicken for eggs, this is a great place to start! read more

I dont think they have set prices on their chickens. A friend of mine bought mature chickens a week before. Then i go and the guy mightve thought i was naive and took advantage of it be charging me almost 4 times more than if i bought it somewhere else. I really only come here for the timothy hay for our two rabbits. It's about $6-7 for a big bag. Much cheaper and better than the Oxbow hay you get at pet food exp/pet mart. Sometimes the staff will even stuff a little more in. I normally buy 4 bags will can last about 2.5 months for two rabbits. read more

However, I've called and called and left messages, and called some more - and no on ever seems to be home. No one ever answers the phone. Does anyone actually work there? We drove out here and regretted it, we will not be going back again. Their craigslist ad said they had laying hens and pullets which I was looking for, but what it did not mention was the fact that almost every hen had been severely picked, most the birds had large bald patches and no tail feathers left. There were too many roos per pen, and I saw a chick who had been picked badly and was bloody running with its mom, no signs of it being treated. Their feed variety was not bad, no purina and most of the poultry feed was pellets not crumbles which I needed for my quails. They do special order. Prices were not bad but I can't bring myself to do business with a place that lets their birds get to be in bad condition. read more

This is a family feed store, open 7 days a week. The hay is ok, it gets hauled in from all over. I use it in a pich if I run low because it's better than the other hay place in town. But the grain and other sack feed is good as are prices. They have pannels and feeders as well as a good supply of other things. Last week they did'nt have what my vet said to get so they were happy to order it for me. It's a nice to walk into the place and know they will do what they can to help me get what I need. read more

Warning--Marek's disease! We just brought back two 5-month old organic pullets last week, and one of them has developed what looks very likely to be Marek's disease. We will have to put her down, and we're just hoping the rest of our flock doesn't come down with it, and I don't recommend buying pullets from here anytime soon. Definitely do not buy organic (unvaccinated) pullets here. They were not very sympathetic when I called to ask them about help with this. This place was great. After working a couple months to ready the yard for chickens, we were ready to purchase some. We looked around and read a lot about chickens and different places to get them. I called on Friday just before closing and they answered promptly. I asked if the chickens that I wanted were available and they politely confirmed that they were. We loaded up the family on Sunday and drove from San jose to the store in livermore. It was well worth the trip. Guillermo was very helpful and knowledgeable. He really seems to enjoy talking about the chickens and provided a lot of valuable information. He took time to show the kids the baby rabbits and they even got to hold one. The girls were in heaven.
