Amazing service there! They are so helpful they help you find the feed you need! Especially for horses they have all of the kinds of grain for your horse. They have medicine too! And other products. Went in there today to buy a common Horse product that is normally readily available at Feed Stores. Its called a Bott Block. Anyways, when i asked where to find it the answer was "we have wormer" . I said "no its not a medicine, its a stone and one can usually get them at feed stores" the guy's response was "well i guess we arent a normal feed store then" so then i said "where is the horse supply area" and he said "we dont have anything for horses except wormer" very snotty and totally rude. I like this store because of the variety of dog foods they carry. I am impressed that they carry the super premium grain free and allergy specific food. They also have tons of other common dog foods but my two bands I cannot find at Petco or PetSmart and I am so happy he carry's them. Customer services is not the best, but if you know what you are looking for this place is good, the prices on the super premium dog food is great too! My go to for chicken feed and shavings. The owner has always been very helpful and carries my feed out to my car every time! He was also very receptive to my complaint that some bags of the poultry crumbles I purchased were very dusty towards the end. I decided to give a local small business a try, rather than going to Pet Smart or Pet-Co. I walked in, and did not receive a greeting. After a few minutes I was acknowledged (barely) and not with a "May I help you" believe me. More of a grunt and a shrug. I asked if they had Science Diet, or Royal Canine. The answer was a curt and emphatic "no" to both questions. No explanation, or apology. We then asked if they had Greenies (pet treat) and we were completely ignored when the clerk picked up his phone and started talking to another customer. He then got off that call, talked to the customer in the store, and then answered a new call. Never, did he answer our final question, or provide any customer service. Honestly, he was extremely rude. I will not be back. read more

I've been buying dog food and egg maker here for the past few months. The prices are fair, the staff loads my truck for me, and from time to time, I can also get some free tips for making my animals happier and healthier. My smaill flock of 7 chickens averages about 5 eggs a day on the egg maker and meal worms I buy at Tracy Feed. read more

I have been shopping at Tracy feed for years. After reading many of the other reviews, I have to agree that in the beginning there was some rudeness. Not sure why, but I continued to buy there. The owner is much friendlier now. They always say hi when I come in, offering to help me. Him or his son always loads the food into my truck which is very helpful. I buy chicken feed, rabbit feed, and dog food. The store is small but has the right selection for our animals. I have bought dewormer and medicine as well. I have also noticed that there is larger animal feed for cows and horses. This is a very family friendly business and I would definitely recommend to anyone. read more

I went to Tracy Feed yesterday to make a purchase. I found the dog collars i wanted to look at in a box and the owner/manager brought the box up to his counter. He did not have the size I came in for but I was considering another one. Apparently he thought he was not going to make a sale because he was extremely rude to me when another customer came in. I left because I won't spend money in a rude establishment. It is his loss since i have a kennel and multiple horses, but apparently being in a business suit he did not realize that. Rude, unfriendly and negative. I guess he doesn't need any new customers. Think twice before going here. read more

i had been going to Tracy feed for years but was doing more of my local shopping in Manteca so I have been going to Old McGowans,I went to tTracy today because it was convenient and ended up paying $10 more for the same dog food I'd been getting in Manteca.I went in and checked with the owner who said that has been his standard price for that product for may years and gave me a couple pigs ears to help with the "sticker shock" as he called it.I have tried to support the small business in the town in which I live but not when it cost THAT much,sorry D I'm done. read more
