He had medium length hair for a guy. The lady started to cut his hair without evening them out and just started with scissors. When my husband asked her what she has done. She said she is still working on it and ended my botching all his hair. He has uneven cuts all across and from front she left a flick uneven hair for some reason and didn't cut it. The reason I am writing a review is to call the board of barbers, the government s h would ban this place, 5 days ago I took my husband who has been going to George's Shop on Sycamore Ave. In Newark, CA. They change him $15.00 , unfortunately my husband had a Stroke, in September last year, he is 88 years old, and I am ( Wife), 84, and he can not shave, he has almost bold head now, but he was anxious, to shave his had, and beard, he was almost bald, and short short beard, unfortunately George's couldn't take him that day, I look in the Google, and I found Bay City Barber. Oh yes an zindian guy, start shaving him and in less than 20 minutes, he was done, when I ask hie much is for the service, he said $60,00, I said what? If he goes to I George's in Newark and they do great Job, they only charge $15.00 folars,, I look at my husband the guy left my Husband's mustache all crooket the head, was not even trimmed evenly, terrible l e terrible I told the Lady, and she agreed that he has done a bad job, asked him to correct it. At the end she charged $45.00, I am a Cosmetologist, and I can see that this people are robbing the people, the state of Barbers should investigate, they did not even give me a receipt, they are abusing elderly people. The place is so buns! I got a haircut on Sunday and asked for a low taper fade. Bro took an hour and during the middle of it he said "I did the taper high cuz I started high is that ok?" Like what? And then he asked me how much I wanted trimmed from the top and I said a little, to the eyebrows. Bro proceeded to chop off all my hair. Nice lady who to her credit did take time to make everything even. She definitely likes to use the straight razor for close work. Problem was I asked for half length off sides and longer on top and mentioned my balding spot on top MPB. She said, a #2 referring to the clipper guard length. I wasn't sure that was right since I hadn't had a clipper cut for a long time. Since she was the professional I trusted her to know that was right for the half length I requested. The finished job was a Marine high and tight with skin showing on the sides on top it is a little longer in front, but pretty short over the balding area towards the back. I had mentioned this to her as a concern beforehand. As a professional she should be aware that men prefer better coverage over balding areas. I basically got the same haircut as the guy before me. Which is ironic as their business profile brags about their experience with different styles and types of hair. Didn't work out for my finer ,curly hair. read more
