I've had them install multiple shutters, banded shades, motorized banded shades etc. The last time I contacted the rep to order more shades after a remodel, I was given a quote for literally 3x the previous quote. Love..Love ..Love my Graber Shutters ! Made such a beautiful difference in my home. The whole process was totally seamless. As a Costco member, we took advantage of the 15% Costco Shop Card including and additional 2% Executive account. The whole process from start to finish was seamless !! Installed and replaced Graber Shutters in the kitchen, front bay window, the family room and including the three bedrooms. Joe Willis, Design Consultant came out to give us a price estimate of buying plantation shutters and offered cost savings ideas. Joe was very detail in his presentation including measurements of the existing windows. A few weeks later, Ed, the installer came out to remeasure the windows again and to realign any pending issues. The whole project team of BSSM was fantastic by keeping up with the e-mail communications, timing and the estimate of window installation. Ed and Rafiel came on time and not only took down our old window coverings but took them away as well. They cleaned up and vacuum any debris from the installation of the shutters. On 1/7/19, the roller shade was returned. I noticed there was 3 damaged blinds that the installer still put up. Overall looking at the blinds, the strings are loose at the bottom and for other blinds I have had in the past, the strings were tight due to custom ordered quality. John told me that's how it is for the type of blind I ordered. The installer confirmed the shipping damaged for the 3 blinds and they told me that they would reorder. Again, checked back weekly, but heard nothing. When I reached back out on 2/6. At that point, they said due to the manufacturer holiday of Chinese New Year, I would not get my blinds until end of February/early March. I asked for refund at this point, was refused. On 2/13, I was told that they were arriving the following week. I check back on 2/21 and there was no concrete update. On 2/27, again told there was no concrete date and by then I was so fed up with the lack of a real date, that I no longer wanted their blinds anymore, I just want a refund. I can understand blinds taking 4-6 weeks from initial order, but not 4-5 months with this many errors. I felt no real empathy or urgency to tend to an order that was screwed up. Our motorized drapery was not working after one year, they sent someone to look at it and said the motor is bad and needs replacement. Thus they took the bad part and said they will order the parts for replacement. We been waiting for months now and they still have not update us the estimated time for the part to come in. It's like an endless wait and the motorized drapery without the motor is like useless, you have to use force to open and close every time which create very much inconvenient. I have to call in every month to check the status which they never update, they always told me they will call me once there's any updates but there's never any. I feel so regret to do the motorized drapery now, we spent the extra money for convenience, now I rather I just had a regular curtain and have my money back. The after service for this company is horrible feels like they just don't care. They always said they will call me back but they never. Since it was fairly close to us and the yelp coupon/check in was another motivator for us to stop by their showroom to see how they looked in person and see how the company was. Upon arrival, it sort of took me back alittle because the business was from the looks of it a former house just around some small businesses. Anyways, we were friendly greeted when we entered and it took a few minutes, but luckily there was a contractor on the premises, he gave a quick run through of some of our possible options and then a general date/time of an actual home measurement/estimate. Overall, we mostly liked him but at the same time when the home estimate came by, we just felt slightly rushed that and the bid was one of the higher bids that we received. read more

There were a little bit of hiccups with installation issues at the beginning but in the end, everything worked out. We used Window-ology though the Costco Window Fashions program for members. Pros: Product is of good quality, teams were COVID safe, installation teams were on-time and friendly. Cons: -Multiple botched installation attempts -4 month delay due to multiple incorrectly-made windows -Damage to multiple interior windows while installing shutters (they attempted to fix this damage later) Poor compensation for the above (roughly amounting to 2% of the total 5-figure price we paid) and unwillingness to make it right. The minus-4 stars is for the many times someone had to come and remeasure and for all the times the drapes had to be remade or hemmed, and for drilling holes and moving the drapery rod without my permission. They never did get the measurements right. One is now on the rod they moved (not my decision) and one (in another room)is for having to move the drapery pins because they were too short (after being hemmed for being too long) and the rod could not be moved. After countless "can't help you lady" responses, I had the good fortune to find Peter Colucci at Window-ology. A new AC unit projected out 3 inches further than the old unit. My full length, 25 ft wide pinch pleated linen shears bowed out around the new AC and looked unsightly at best. Peter researched brackets that would allow the drapes to hang properly to my great satisfaction. I have some Hunter-Douglas blinds that I did NOT buy through Window-ology. Of the six, two of the riser mechanisms have broken during the COVID-19 epidemic. Window-ology worked with Hunter-Douglas to fix the first under warranty. The second was just out of warranty and they worked with me and Hunter-Douglas to split the cost of the repair. They were helpful, professional, courteous for each blind, every step of the way. Whenever I need new blinds, I am giving them my business. Sorry I didn't know about them when I bought these blinds. I usually have some ideas in mind when making home purchases. This time I did something different. I let the folks at Window-ology come up with the ideas for my new "Zen Den." In reality, it was a downstairs bedroom, small at that. I wanted to transform it into a relaxing room for reading and movie watching. I had an existing piece of furniture, so I went with the Asian theme. I wanted it painted blue. I gave Window-ology my colors and photos and wow, did they deliver! I want to post a photo, but it won't do it justice. The light filtering shades are beautiful. I think they are called City Lights, but to me it looks like rain. Three of our Hunter Douglas shades needed warranty repair. I made arrangements to drop them off at Window-ology for assessment. Joe unloaded all the blinds from my car and went through the process with me. Although the repair shop had recently gotten really busy, they were able to complete the repair promptly. I had mentioned we were getting guests from out of town so I was very grateful. Joe went over all the repairs that were completed and loaded the 3 blinds into my car.
