Randomly landed on this place while scrolling through yelp for a place to eat at. Located in a small strip by other restaurants and stores. It was a little quiet when we got here with only a couple other tables around 5 pm. Place is a little older looking. The menus are old so the price is not updated. They even place a piece of paper to say price may differ from menu so if you really want to know how much something is, check. All of our dishes and drinks were more than menu price. This location has decent lassi for my liking. I did enjoy the mango more than strawberry. The food came out within reasonable time given that it wasn't busy. All of the dishes were delish and nothing to complain about. They were all flavorful. I honestly recommend all of the dishes we got. I did not enjoy the lamb curry because I'm not a lamb person and it def has the lamb aftertaste. Service was great. Please spend the money and update the menu, especially they are more than a dollar increase so customers can plan appropriate.

Spice?? More like ketchup with a little hot oil or something. It was not good at all.

This was some very disappointing Indian food. The paneer dish literally tasted like a tomato bisque from Panera and I asked about spice level and went with a medium heat.. it tasted zero percent spicy, not even a little and the 'spice' on the next photo was awful, and not spicy at all either. Only took the leftovers to be polite :/

I came here with family and had kids of great food and service. We started with veggie samosas which came with a couple chutneys. The samosas tasted flavorful and they were packed with fillings. We shared some biryani, lamb curry and butter chicken with garlic naan. Everything tasted amazing and the spice was perfect for me. I got medium and it has a definite kick so be prepared. They give you an extra bowl of spice sauce and a cooling cucumber sauce as well in case the heat is too much. The garlic naan was definitely enough for 4 people and it tasted flavorful and fluffy. I highly recommend this place for your Indian cuisine cravings.

I love this place . They serve the best vegetarian samosas in town ! The layered parathas are also my new favorite. I also got the fish Hyderabadi as an entree. Lots of options if you eat fish and not meat. The service is always great, the owners daughter is super sweet and helpful.

This is our second location. We started Bay Leaf Indian Cuisine in 2014 in Eden Prairie, MN. We had provided good quality and service. We want to serve people in Eagan and surrounding suburbs. Owners are passionate about food and hospitality.

You can order online (highly recommended) or from a screen near their covered-up window. Whenever a food place is clearly hiding its employees from its customers, I'm nervous that I will be ignored. But someone was constantly popping out and asking people what their names were, and telling them how many minutes they can expect to wait. (Waiting = standing next to the salty snacks shelves.) I see now that they have Al Pastor Chicken with Pineapple Pico and I definitely want to come back and try that. Maybe I'll raise my rating if I love it. Meanwhile, I'd recommend considering this at least for the experience, but order ahead and expect a 30-minute wait. Also note that they close at 7pm.

YUM!! The Aloo Tikki and Veggie Pakora appetizers are pure perfection! The first time I visited, I had a bowl of the mulligatawny soup, and it was the most flavorful version of that soup I had ever had, and had a little bit of kick/spice to it as well. Everything I've had off the menu is wonderfully flavorful and fresh, and with a spice level that has been really nice--I've ordered mild and it pushes right up to the edge of medium, which I like--I can work up a bit of a sweat but also still taste each dish's flavor bursts. The lunch buffet is amazing--loads of great dishes to choose from. I also really appreciate that there are many gluten free options, so even if I can no longer have naan (bread), there are plenty of other delicious appetizers that I can have. Staff is friendly and helpful, and the space is comfortable. I'm very happy that Bay Leaf Indian has come to Eagan. We go here a couple of times a month. I am slowly working my way through the vegetarian options. Loved everything so far. I really like that I can choose my level of spice - some times of the day I have to be more careful than others and like to keep it milder. I have found that no matter the level - always good.
