My middle nail is the worst ...
    Ally W.

I will never come back again ... I got a gel fill and she nipped every single finger plus my hand when she looked away for some reason ... Don't look away while you have something in your hand that can hurt people. Also I had to ladys work on me. Like the first one, the second lady also cut me. One of my fingers hurts and under the nail is glued to my skin. Did I mention that I went in there at 4:11 and left at 6:29.... I scheduled an appointment yesterday by the way. Like I said I will never come back here again.

when i walked in the lady told me it was $38 for acrylic nails and when they were done with my nails they were trying to up charge me they took two hours and they didn't do the right shape I wanted they skipped a bunch of steps waste of time I wouldn't go here again

It's hard to find a nail shop that opens early. I'm happy I found one near my house and actually do a good job and care about their work. :)

So I've been looking for a new eyebrow place. The only thing worse than having your long time…read moreeyebrow girl leave is having to find somebody new. After a lot of of review reading, Suneeta seemed like someone worth taking a risk for. She did not disappoint. Straight to the point and cleaned up my eyebrows perfectly. She did not ruin any existing shape or arch and worked with me to help move towards my eyebrow goals. I did not get them tinted, but may consider it next time. Definitely worth a shot. Make sure you get Suneeta.

Edit- I mistakenly reviewed the wrong address. The incident…read morehappened at the Pleasant Hill location, which is at the border of Concord. Sorry about that! This review is not for the owner- rather one particular worker. I have been coming to URS Threading for many years and have visited all of their locations. This is the first time I've felt the need to leave a negative review for this location (my 5th time here). I arrived at around 6:40 p.m. (the salon closes at 7:00 p.m.). A broad-built Indian woman at the front desk said she would do my threading. I asked her to start with my upper lip, and it was noticeably painful from the beginning, though I didn't say anything. What really concerned me was that she brought the thread inside my nostril while threading my upper lip. I immediately winced in pain. In all the years I've been getting threaded, this has never happened before. It felt very unprofessional and made me question her experience. She has no communication skills at all. The people who have helped me previously in this location were all nice. I told her what had happened and left immediately without completing the service. Based on my experience, I would not trust her with threading. Very unprofessional and unapologetic.

So here goes. I've come to shed positive light on the negative reviews!! I am a first time client…read morehere, and I am very satisfied for 3 reasons: - Service! - Cleanliness - 5 minute drive from my house I was greeted at the door & was sat as soon as I walked in. I had a full set and pedi done at the same time and the women were fast yet very efficient with my nails. From the pedi massage to the carefulness of making sure my nails were kid-proofed these women were nothing short of amazing! I shared w the women how I had just gave birth to my baby boy, she did not have to ask me 21 questions she just went straight to work on my nails, and I loved how they turned out because the edges aren't sharp at all & my length is the EXACT length I asked her for. I would usually have to show nail techs the shortness I want but she already knew what a mommy wanted :)) I went ahead and tipped both ladies $10 because they truly deserved it! Thank you, you guys have gained a loyal customer !! PS these photos do not serve justice on how lovely my nails look in person!!!

Don't really do reviews but I felt like this was a NEED. They have stolen money and have refused to…read moregive it back, accountability from their part is non existent and they (the staff) count on customers not to notice or for us to let it be. My mom and sister went on two different separate occasions, they had mentioned that for an ACRYLIC NAIL REMOVAL it was going to come out to 20$ plus 30$ IF you wanted a manicure as well. Both denied the manicure and they went ahead and charged anyway, told them that they wouldn't let them leave unless we pay the 50$ for the SOAK OFF. We calmly tried explaining that the manicure wasn't not part of the service, so they switched it up and told us it was because of the quality of the nail cutting (just nail cut after soak off) that they did on them was worth more, they did this without offering or approval. The vibe was definitely tense so we needed up paying in full, but never again are we going back. And I hope y'all learn from our experience.

finding a nail tech isn't easy -- especially in an area where there's so many options. you try a…read morefew, but it's kinda like cinderella... you're just waiting for the right fit. after doing some scrolling and reading reviews, I decided to give Beau Den Spa a shot. the photos looked great and the feedback seemed solid, so I finally worked up the courage to call. kimmy answered and was so sweet -- she asked what i needed and booked me for 10:15 AM the next day. when i arrived, i was greeted right away by a gentleman at the front, and one of the women immediately recognized it was me (happened to be kimmy), which felt really welcoming. although my appointment was at 10:15, i wasn't seated until around 10:30/10:45, but honestly, i didn't mind. they offer refreshments (tea, coffee, water), which was a nice touch. my nail tech was vi (i hope i'm spelling that right!). i came in with a full set from another shop, and i really appreciated that they don't let your nails sit in acetone forever. she removed my old set carefully and started prepping me for gel-x. i went with a stiletto/almond shape, which is totally new for me, so i was nervous but excited. long story short: i LOVE my nails. vi told me my fingers were made for the length and shape (maybe she was hyping me up, but i'll take it ). she also did my pedicure, and the experience was just as good. the bowl had lemons, lemon leaves, and i think even roses? the water temperature was perfect. it felt luxurious and relaxing. i spent about $200 (including a $20 tip). yes, it's pricey -- but in today's economy, that's not uncommon and it's pretty fairly priced compared to the other shops in the area. if you care about quality and the overall experience, i'd say it's worth it. and having Starbucks nearby doesn't hurt either. definitely coming back.

This place is a gem and worth every dollar spent!…read more I've been to quite a bit of nail salon places in Concord/Pleasant Hill/Walnut Creek area. There are some that are good, but unfortunately some that makes you not want to treat yourself in getting your nails done. That was what happened to me last year. A place I will not name, just shellacked the acrylic powder on my nails extremely thick, making me look like I have some nail related abnormality. And as a people pleaser, I just decided to deal with it and cry on my way home. That experience made me not want to get any more manicures. Fast forward to now. I missed feeling pretty and got super inspired by the nail art that the IG algorithm threw at me. I wanted to treat myself to a manicure with some art to celebrate Lunar New Year. This was a last minute game day decision, so during my appointment at Beau Den Spa, I surprised the owner with a picture inspiration... and she went above and beyond! She could've told me "I can't do them within the time frame of our appointment" or "nope." She probably could say "oh hell no" and I'd completely understand. I even said she can simplify them...but she did it all! They are the best nails I've ever had! Not an exaggeration but legit! She is extremely talented and meticulous. If you ever want to get elaborate nail art done, this is the place to go. Just make sure to let them know in advance of the complexity so that they ensure ample time is set aside. My mother is a huge fan of their pedicures. It's the only place that I know in the area that provides the highest quality of service. They do not rush nor do they speed their massages. Their name fits their services. You do indeed feel that you're getting a spa treatment. There are probably cheaper places to get your nails done in the area, but this place is where the quality standards matches the price point.
