Decided I wanted to do something with my lashes for my birthday. I found this place on Yelp and it had good reviews. I scheduled my appointment with Sandeep because most of the reviews mentioned how good she was. Nicely decorated shop with quite a lot of people getting services. While I was waiting I decided to get my eyebrows done too. Sandeep is very nice and professional. I felt comfortable with her doing my lashes and eyebrows. I got a lash lift with tint and eyebrows threaded with henna to darken and define them. I was happy with the results and will definitely come back and see Sandeep for more services read more

Sandeep always gets me right! Even though my eyebrows are microbladed she just knows how to make them look extra good. The other threader are good as well but Sandeep knows how I like mine I almost want to undo my microblade because I miss the way my eyebrows use to look when she would shape them! Sandeep is amazing with her work. The downside is her schedule. If she's scheduled 1pm - 7pm she may not get there until 1:30 and then she may be gone before 7pm. If you're going only to see Sandeep, it's best to call and check if she's there first before wasting a trip read more

I came in to get my eyebrows threaded and asked the lady (not sure her name but it's not Sandeep forsure) to clean it up just a bit. However, she made it entirely uneven and my left eyebrow is SIGNIFICANTLY different compared to my right. I'm not even sure how that happened and was in disbelief. I didn't even want to ask to try and fix it because I was afraid I'd have no brow at that point. Also it felt like a very rushed job because there was a slow trickle of clients but people were waiting since there was only that one worker the whole time. I may come back again but I'd like to wait and hope that the next time, it won't be as rushed as I left with one eyebrow looking more off than the other. :( read more

During my first appointment, Chakay Smith was warm, professional, and communicative. The mapping and shape of my eyebrows were done well, and I was included throughout the process. I was shown the design, asked for my input, and felt comfortable and heard. However, once the procedure was complete and I saw the final result, I was immediately alarmed by the color choice, which did not match what I requested or the reference photos we discussed. When I expressed concern, I was reassured that it could be corrected after the six-week healing period and was told, "It's better to correct something that's too light than too dark." While my trust was shaken at that moment, I gave the benefit of the doubt that the correction would be handled willingly. Later, I was informed that a $100 correction fee would apply. I explained that this was not a change of preference, but a color error. I was told customer satisfaction was the goal, and the fee was reluctantly waived. From the moment I arrived for the second appointment, Chakay Smith's demeanor was noticeably different. There was no warm greeting as before. Instead of being taken to the treatment room, I was instructed to remain in the front lobby while numbing cream was applied and told to wait 15 minutes. I waited closer to 30 minutes, while she disappeared into the back. When I was finally taken to the room, communication was minimal. There was no conversation, no check-ins, no mirror offered, and no engagement -- a stark contrast to the first appointment. She left the room multiple times during the procedure, and the overall atmosphere felt tense and unwelcoming. I felt as though my presence was unwanted. When the correction was finished, I was relieved and satisfied with the final color. Wanting to end on a positive note, I asked if I could hug her, and she agreed. Immediately afterward, she sternly pointed at me and the table and stated that any future corrections would require payment for her time, with no exceptions. That moment confirmed what I had felt throughout the entire second appointment -- a complete shift in demeanor from warm and professional to cold and punitive. This review is not about perfection or even the final result, which I am satisfied with. It is about how a client is treated when an issue arises, especially in a service where trust, comfort, and professionalism are critical. The contrast between the two appointments was significant and unsettling. I waited before posting publicly to allow the opportunity for this to be handled privately. Nobody rushed me with "hello what do you want" or shoved a color wall in my face before I even sat down. I actually felt like a person, not just another number to get in and out. It wasn't until I was sitting there that I realized how used to bad treatment I'd gotten. Other salons trained me without me even noticing, packed into a tiny space, treated like I'm on a conveyor belt, rushed out before my nails even had time to properly dry. I had honestly forgotten my time and my experience mattered. Delane's brought that back for me. The professionalism was on another level too. No games with the price going up if you don't tip in cash, which is honestly tacky and rude and tells you exactly how little they think of their customers. Nobody crowding me in next to three other people either. It was calm, it was peaceful, it actually felt relaxing instead of stressful. And the cleanliness. Towels were fresh, equipment looked properly cleaned, none of that murky blue water sitting in a dirty container that's clearly been there for who knows how long. Even the bathroom was clean, and that alone tells you a lot about how a place is really run.
