Bareket has a true gift with animals and treats every dog like family. She consistently went above and beyond, showing up rain or shine -- even in unbearable heat -- always with a warm smile and genuine excitement to see our dogs. Often, she'd take them on longer walks than required simply because she loves what she does. What really set Bareket apart was her incredible flexibility. She was always willing to accommodate our ever-changing schedule, often stepping in at the last minute when work got hectic. Her reliability and kindness gave us so much peace of mind. We recently relocated from Brooklyn to Boston, and without question, one of the hardest goodbyes was parting with Bareket. Her care, dedication, and connection with our dogs were unmatched. Ferdinand is a rescue dog, who was shy and scared of loud noises when we got him. He's now over 2 years old, a playful little dog, ready to walk (most of the time) and to have fun with other dogs. As much as I'd like to take credit for his progress, I think Phyllis have much more to do with it. Phyllis is a great dog walker. She never stopped working during the Pandemic, always mindful to tend to her pet friends while protecting herself and families. Making sure Ferdie had his daily walk with her was a life saver in the middle of homeschooling and remote working. Phyllis' love for animals is obvious. She helped us get Ferdie ready to walk with other dogs, always leaves detailed feedback if Ferdie is more anxious than usual. She also was a great support as we welcomed our third son back home last year, advising us on how to behave with Ferdie, and sharing some very helpful kid friendly videos for my two older kids so they learn to play safely with Ferdie. Ferdie is now very well adjusted to our family, and us to him. We feel very fortunate to have found Pooch and Kitty to help us transition from a family with two children and no pets, to a family of three children and a dog.

My story starts with trying to find a cat sitter as I was travelling more a few times a year (domestic and foreign - as far as New Zealand), and my new cat (Sweet Pea, a Manx breed shelter cat) needed a friendly face every day while away. I tried a couple of services, but had very unprofessional experiences that made my home feel unsafe. Had to change the locks on the 2nd one- so weird. So now, on to the good news. I found Pooch and Kitty. The owner, Phyllis Klein is caring and highly professional. The intro is professional, chill, and started with an opportunity for the potential sitter to meet you and your pet, so that both parties are comfortable, and gave me the moment to communicate any building rules. Great. I have felt so happy and safe with the 2 sitters I had over the years. Thank you Serra, and most importantly, thank you Bonnie. Bonnie gave great daily updates (as I traveled the most during her time). Her recent observation on his eating led me to immediately decide that maybe he needs a random vet check in addition to the regular. He ultimately had lymphoma and I lost him months later. But if not for her simple observations communicated in the daily updates, I would not have noticed as quickly (the lack of separation during quarantine made it harder to notice small changes). As a result, I had more time than I would have, while treating his illness. Sweet Pea had caring friends with Pooch and Kitty. And I have all Bonnie's hilarious video updates, sometimes with silly filters which I loved! This is a great service that I recommend. They are lovely, and should be part of your pet sitting needs. We adored the photos and updates and were extremely grateful for the peace of mind. Jason would also alert us if anything was amiss in our apartment and even gracefully dispatched our nosy 90 year old neighbor. In the past, we've met walkers who refuse to take on anxious pets. In a matter of weeks, Melissa and Catherine were not just able to put on her leash and walk her, but also won her complete trust and affection. Now whenever Sadie sees them, she squeals with joy and rolls onto her back to demand belly rubs. Mollywood Paws goes the extra mile with your dog, offering completely personal walks if desired and leave written notes with summaries of each walk. Whenever we've had them pet sit, they've been completely accommodating to the unexpected needs and difficulties that have arisen. We're not sure what we would have done without them.

During our most recent visit a few days ago, my 15 year old dog was returned with a giant bruise on his right shoulder and a fractured rib (after a vet confirmed with an x-ray). He is traumatized from this experience. While the groomer did apologize, she had no explanation for what happened. After years of trust, I expected transparency and care--not silence and uncertainty. I'm extremely disappointed and no longer feel comfortable bringing my dog here.

I called Ann Marie and she said she did not cut her, " i would never do such thing". Rather than admitting to the accident she denied cutting my dog. The tools she are using are clearly dirty. After talking with other vets on the island they weren't sure if they were able to help our dog. We took our dog here to Dr Pugliese and she took our dog like it was her own and went to work. She monitored our dogs recovery through the night and hand feed her. Who else does this? After my dogs life saving surgery, my dog was back to normal running around playing and very happy. We've been coming in regularly with our two ferrets for almost two years now and Dr. Salemi has been a lifesaver.
