The view .. amazing food was good and the service was on point. This is a good spot to stop at if you're in the area

Disgustingly undercooked eggs when I specifically asked for the yolk to be popped so it's more dry than wet... even the white is uncooked!

If you're desperate for breakfast, know that you can definitely get your stomach filled. Good luck with any kind of request you make on your choice. Service is awful... so late that nothing is even the least bit warm... toast is definitely cold! This is also the first time I've experienced the waiter - or any waiter - not checking in to see how our food was... I guess they already know they suck :(

Wonderful Service ! The restaurant tonight was a bit busy and somewhat understaffed. Our server Johan did amazing at providing beautiful service regardless of the staffing issue. He was doing it all, food, drinks, and service. If you're in that area I definitely recommend coming to visit and seeing Johan.

Our waiter Alejandro made the experience! The ambiance and the wine was perfection. The combination made for a great first evening in San Diego!! We had just a few appetizers and wine so I can't really say much about the food because we didn't try much! We had roasted tomato basil soup and chilled shrimp cocktail. The shrimp was huge and a very good portion of the soup was served! Although my soup wasn't as hot as I'd like and it didn't have mozzarella (I didn't ask for it, I should've but I was enjoying the wine) and we had a Pinot noir and a Malbec for the wine. We stayed by the fire and it was pretty romantic and beautiful

    Enjoy the view!

I was in town for conference. The Sheraton is where I stayed for a week. Bay Tower Lounge has a way of making you feel rich, making you feel: "Royal" (by Lorde) I'll let my pics do the talking for me on this one. But I must add, food and beer is very delicious, customer service is excellent and they keep a very clean establishment. Eat outside and enjoy the spectacular view of the harbor! (If you stay @ the Sheraton, do not get room service. You will be rewarded with $5 vouchers per day you do not get service and you can apply it to food and beverage @ BTL. I saved 4 vouchers and the breakfast buffet costs me $6. The price w/o the vouchers: $27.) One star subtraction for not having any form of a continental breakfast for Sheraton guests.

As you can expect from any hotel, the bill will be hefty.. but the food is good and the beer list is great! The Parmesan Truffle Tater Tots were delicious and crunchy. I love ketchup but I didn't use any of the spicy ketchup because it overwhelmed the truffle. My fiancé ended up using it on his fish and chips, which he enjoyed. Now, they have a short tap list but it is mostly local beers. I had a wonderful Gose from Modern Times and I think it is now one of my favourite sours. Fruitland with passionfruit and guava, where you at?? Sometimes you are 'trapped' at the hotel and you need a place like this. And I assure you, it will get the job done.

Do not eat here! Creamer looks like it hasn't been cleaned in months. Coffee was curdling Restaurant staff isslow and careless

Disgusting dirty restaurant. Coffee creamer not cleaned in months. Tables are left dirty. Staff is extremely slow and careless. They lost my food order. Department of health should visit this restaurant. I highly recommend you eat somewhere else.

Great place to chill and relax if you are in town on vacation or just taking a break from all day conferences. It has great view of the bay and an awesome skyline of downtown San Diego. It's an awesome day today to sit outside and take in some rays. Can't beat that if you are low on your vitamins D. Okay, I had to come back and redo my review because what I got was not enough to feed my 9 year old grand daughter! And it's $20 for the fish and chips!! You get two small pieces of fish and a table spoon of cold slaw!! Really??? Come on y'all I'm a grown man what the heck I'm going to do with a child's plate that cost me $20!! We were down here attending a workshop on, of all things, tax liens/deeds. One word of advice on getting involved with this type of opportunity, DO YOUR HOMEWORK ON THIS BEFORE YOUR DECIDE TO GET INVOLVED!!!! Research and then research again you will save yourself money and aggravations. People don't do their homework and when it's all said and done they have been talked out of thousands of dollars!! Be sure to look up Real Estate Workshop because it's not what they claim it is at the first initial meeting. They promise many things and even state you'll get 100% money back guarantee, "if you do all they tell you to do" that's the catch. Bottom line, if you want to make a lot of money do it the right way learn, educate yourself, find people you can trust. And things should work out for you. Life as you know is an adventure and we are on one. Pray, Eat, Love. See you next time!

After reading the reviews I was skeptical to try this place. I am staying the night at the hotel with my girlfriend and we didn't feel like driving into town. We walked in and we were immediately greeted and seated. We were offered drinks and got them a couple minutes later. We then ordered the buffalo wings as an appetizer and the fish and chips and the cheese burger for dinner. I was please with the amount of buffalo wings and they were a little spicy for me but still good. After a few minutes of getting the wings we got our meals. After getting the burger and fish and chips I was incredibly surprised how delicious they were. Our drinks were topped off frequently and I was incredibly surprised by the bad reviews. Not only would I recommend the restaurant if you're staying here, but if you're staying at any surrounding hotels I suggest this restaurant. Edit: It's about 10pm on a Saturday night.

Johan has the best menu recommendations. I highly recommend him as your restaurant server. Very kind with a smile

Best service! Johan is the man! I had a great meal and top tier service. The baby kale salad was incredibly delicious

Excellent waiter service. Super slow service. We waited 1 hour for 2 sandwiches and there are only 2 tables are taken. Food is beyond terrible. ---Seafood salad: Hahahahhaa....Seafood as they throw 3 boiled shrimp from the freezer on a half avocado and put some salad leaves under without much sauce. Did the chef use to work for hospitals? ---Roasted chicken sandwich: Chicken meat have a powdery texture and it tasted bitter. It's kinda strange, because there are only 3 charcoal burn marks on this entire piece of white breast meat, yes they didn't cut it. but the entire chicken tasted bitter. The bacon will break your tooth and they use sliced bread for burgers. This is not a sandwich in the first place. The only edible thing on this plate is the fries. ---Fried chicken sandwich comes in croissant. They cut the croissant in half and put the fried chicken inside. My friend also finished the fries and left more than half fried chicken on the table, He said the chicken is old and chewy. ---Fish and chips should be renamed as bricks and fries. The dish is giant, the fish is coated in a super thick layer flour and it looks square, you can use that thing to injure people. My friend didn't touch much of the food. She said the fish is stale and dry. I don't know where did you get your chefs, but it seems my 12 years old cousin can cook better.

Once upstairs you check-in again and most of the larger tables/sitting areas are reserved for larger parties (3+). The first time we went there we had a couch and love seat area which was very spacious. This time we had a 4 top which worked fine. My kids enjoyed this table because they could watch planes land and take off. There are lots of food options at this lounge. You can scan the QR code and order online to have the food you have selected delivered directly to your table. Each table has its own unique table number. You can customize the items with removing ingredients as well. There is also several already prepared food options/dishes you can select and take back to your table. Regarding beverages there are coffee machines, fridge stocked with non alcoholic beverages, filter stilled and sparking water, array of drink options (cocktails, wine, beer, NA, etc) you can order online or you can go up to the bar and order a drink not on the menu as well. I ordered a lemon drop which was tasty and she was able to make it less sugary for me. Overall all staff were friendly, on top it (clearing tables, restocking items) and overall cleanliness of the lounge. We enjoy coming to this lounge and the food is good. I learned this time that if you are seated at a table that doesn't have a plug in/power source near by you can ask for a portable power source for your table.

I did appreciate the layout of the room; having a hallway entry helped buffer some hallway noise. However, the lighting situation was terrible. There's no ceiling light, no wall light in the entry hallway, and while the room had four lamps, it was still very dark. This made working from the room (which I needed to do) extremely difficult. Even the full-length mirror was basically useless without proper lighting. The TV was small, and the on-screen guide was incorrect throughout my stay, which was frustrating. The in-room phone also didn't work properly, the volume was so low I could barely hear anyone, and the volume button didn't fix it. On the positive side, I really liked that the room included a microwave and refrigerator. They also provided individually wrapped disposable coffee cups, stir straws, and napkins, which felt thoughtful and sanitary. Utensils would've been a great addition. I also appreciated the multiple outlets near the desk and nightstand, though having USB ports would make things much more convenient. I also appreciated that they had a free airport shuttle. The bed was fairly comfortable, and I liked that the room had two stacking desks, one with wheels so it was easily moved. I moved one in front of the window to enjoy the view while working, but again, the poor lighting made that nearly impossible. There is a restaurant on site, but the menu was very limited. Their WiFi was horrible! Check-in was smooth, and the staff member who helped me was very friendly. The only downside was seeing an insect fogger kit and bug spray sitting right on the front counter at check-in. That's not exactly the first impression you want to give guests. Also, as a silver member I always have the option for late check out extended to me upon check in. This particular hotel informed me that I had to wake up and call the morning of departure and request a late check out and only then would they inform me if the request was approved. Overall, while there were some positives (the grounds, view, friendly staff, and in-room amenities), the noise issues and poor lighting were dealbreakers for me. I wouldn't stay here again.

Parking is a nightmare good luck finding parking within a mile of the restaurant. Pros: atmosphere, drinks, service Cons: food wasn't great for the price, restaurant was small and crowded, no parking Service: All of our servers were friendly and very accommodating. Gave us some knowledge on the menu and recommended cocktails based on our preference. I had spilled my drink and they were quick to make me another one. Food: I had intended to get the prime ribeye cap steak but they ran out for the night around 8pm. I shared the steak sampler which came with four different cuts of steak and 4 sauces. I ordered medium and it was cooked medium/medium rare which was fine with me, it also had a good sear, almost burnt though. Out of the four steaks, we only liked two based off flavor and tenderness. The other two were more tough and gamey. None of the sauces really stood out but the bordelaise and horseradish were good. For our sides we got fries, roasted broccoli, and the grilled wedge salad. Fries were average. The roasted broccoli had really good flavor, I expected the broccoli to be al dente but it was cooked to mush and drenched in sauce. The grilled wedge salad was decent, there was a slightly bitter taste to it. I know it says grilled wedge but the experience of biting into the salad and it being both hot and cold was not pleasant. Cocktails: I tried the Honey Ryder and New Wave. These were recommended as the more fruity/sweet cocktails. You can definitely taste the alcohol but it's only 2oz so it's not too strong. Ambience: 10/10 I got seated downstairs by the bar. Only thing about downstairs is that it's too dark to take photos unless you use flash. Overall, I agree with the other reviews saying to go just for drinks and appetizers. I would go again just to sit upstairs and get drinks and take pictures. We left unsatisfied and ended up getting in-n-out after.

This bad boii right here is a thickun', with beautifully melted gruyere cheese, dijonaise, and caramalized onions tucked inside of a majestic sesame seed bun-served with fries, a dill pickle, and a FANTASTIC aioli for $17!!!! Yes, $17!!!!!! This burger ain't no joke, and it's more than enough reason to skirt your buns on down to try it out. Now the fun doesn't stop there. Have you freaking seen this place? The outside does not do it justice whatsoever. Once you step inside the door, you'll forget where you are-partially because it's pretty dark and you can't see shit, but the other part is that it's magical. I love poppin' up to the bar and chillin' in this space. There are two more totally different experiences to dine in, but I'll leave that up to you to find and explore. Although they're known for their burger, delicious drinks, and signature ice cream sandwich, there's so much more to write home about. I RECENTLY HAD ONE OF THE BEST MEALS I'VE HAD IN A LONG TIME HERE. The steak sampler we had, with sides of honey gochujang carrots, and beautifully scalloped potatoes, left us in ecstasy! The four cuts of beef were incredibly tender, deftly seasoned, and seared to perfection. The accompanying sauces, except for the tomato one, were also really good. And I have even mentioned the twice baked potato or the BROCCOLI!!! YES, THE BROCCOLI!!! If you get nothing else, get yourself a burger and some broccoli-TRUST!!! I could go on, but I'll leave you with this...the parking is not pleasant, but the food is fantastic, the music is fresh, and the drinks are splendid. Starlite, you must be my lucky star. Super HUGE thanks to Dani, the chefs, and the crew for making Starlite so amazing. Enjoy my friends.
