Ribs were a bit small but overall food was great! Ordered for delivery and food was still very hot and fresh.

Let me begin by saying,, why are you still open???? I ordered the baby back ribs with yellow rice and baked beans. I also ordered wings. All together I paid $90.00 Bayonne BBQ ought to be ashamed!! The ribs barely exist and baby back ribs? Maybe they were in conception!!! So small and petite! It seems you boiled them and threw sauce on them.. Wings also. Made no sense. Then the baked beans!!! What a sin!!! May God forgive you!!. They were regular pork and beans from the can. Now I dont care but you could have fixed it up and added other ingredients to make it your own. I was pissed!! I have a couple cans in my cabinet!!! Do better or put yourself out of business!!! And if people in Bayonne think this is BBQ... then it makes sense why you are still open. No taste, no flavor. Yes it's a harsh review but when you spend 90 bucks at the time we're at, it's a lot. A lot not to be wasted. I wanted my money's worth and I didn't get it. read more

Holy smokes! This place is amazing!!!! It's so delicious. Recommend! Great food. I ordered through door dash and it was still hot. You can tell it was made fresh and not food that has been sitting there. I had the chicken tender, fries, bbq chicken, yellow rice, and wings. Amazing. Terrible food. Fries were terrible, sauce on the ribs was poorly made. The beans come straight from the can to your container there is no extra seasoning, there is nothing "baked" about them. The sides were literwlly the size of small eye drops. I KID YOU NOT I ATTACHED PICS awful would never spend a dime here and its not cheap are u kidding. I want a refund for my food. read more

This was my personal experience.... I ordered from Bayonne BBQ for the very first time last night. I had been craving "non-spicy" bbq wings for days and decided to try this place. I came out in the frigid 21F weather, ordered a small order of classic honey-bbq wings and the corn bread I saw wrapped sitting on the counter (I love corn bread & haven't had it in many months!) I waited 15-20 min in the establishment for my order and couldn't wait to get it home. (I hadn't eaten anything all day!) Needless to say I was extremely disappointed! The wings were very hard and very dry. You know the kind that have been frozen for long periods of time and then cooked? The sauce albeit tasty could not penetrate the meat and could not add any moisture to it. The corn bread was hard, crumbly and stale. The order was not cheap! And I ended up eating a roll I had at home for dinner. Wow...so sad. read more

Ordered from them today one of the worst decisions of my life.. bought a bunch of food with a CARD and then when they came to the door told me I had to pay in cash. We showed them the receipt on our phone which clearly said we already paid but the guy couldn't speak English and understand what we were telling him. Next thing we know we are on the phone with his boss who also didn't know English, trying to explain we already paid with card. Long story short the language barrier and and clearly idiotic service forced us to pay AGAIN with cash and the driver had the nerve to ask for a tip. Fuck that. read more

Mixed review. I ordered a burger, ribs and bbq chicken. The ribs were small and relatively pricy but I really enjoyed them - tender and tasty. The bbq chicken was ok, cooked well and decent portion but I would have preferred more charcoal look and flavor and the sauce is a little sweet for my taste. The burger was thick and juicy but not very flavorful, perhaps not the best quality meat. The sides were good I like the selection and they were tasty but a veggie option would be good as well. Overall I may give it another shot if I'm in the mood for ribs but not very impressed. read more

We've ordered from Bayonne BBQ before. The quality of the food is adequate, but certainly not worth ~$8 for a sandwich or wrap. Tonight, however, was probably the last time we will order from here. The order took 1h38m to be delivered. The food was cold by the time it arrived and was below the usual standards. This place is very food for wigs, I think they're the best in Bayonne so far my favorite is teriyaki it's crunchy it's delicious also they're hot sandwiches a pretty good too. Also had a Greek salad was delicious the chicken was amazing. read more

The bbq ribs are fall off the bone amazing. So tasteful. They are expensive but the ribs are better then most spots.

The food is good and the delivery arrived early by 20 minutes. That's a good thing, right? The problem is that this is the first time they've been early (they're usually late), so I went across the street to grab a couple things from the store. I apologized to the delivery person over the phone and said I'd be there in two minutes, and he yelled at me, telling me he has a job to do. For all the times I've been patient when they're late, I expected a little bit of patience for someone who was still going home way before the scheduled delivery time. He then rudely shoved the paper into my hand to sign, despite seeing that my hands were completely full. That's such bad service. Ill be reluctant to order again. read more

I had takeout from here and the order was right on time. I have to say that the food is pretty damn good. They do give quite a large quantity. My only problem was the hot wings I ordered were kind of soggy. They were breaded and I suppose that's why. But still tasted great. They are a bit expensive for the Bayonne area hence 4 stars. Also I paid by credit card and when I asked driver for a receipt he said no he didn't have one. Which I didn't like at all. So when I order again it will definitely be cash. read more

I used to be a regular customer for this restaurant and mostly I use beyond menu app to order food from here. The main reason why I used to prefer this restaurant is because they lot of options in their menu. Recently I ordered a steak from this restaurant which was the worst mistake. I normally used to order steak from and I am already aware of the amount of oil that comes with it as I used to soak it out before starting to eat. But this time the steak piece that they have sent me had more fat than meat so I had an excellent time in soaking out the oil it was more like drinking oil rather than eating steak and I had to throw up most of the steak out just to be back to normal. Will never do this again!!!!!!! Also the menu is a little bit pricey than most of the other similar restaurants. I am not sure if they have a special menu for beyond menu but it is pricey!!!!! O.K. I've lived in Bayonne for almost 10 years now and I have never set foot in this place. Well, last night I decided to give them a try considering it was Sunday and they were the only option. What we ordered: 3 Cheeseburger Deluxe, 1 Cheese Steak with peppers and onions and 1 Corn on the cob. The food was delivered fairly quickly, but I have absolutely nothing good to say about this place. The cheese steak tasted as if the steak they used had associated with Gyro meat or some eastern Indian flavor which was just not good at all! If I wanted a damn Gyro, I would have ordered a Gyro from the dozens of Eastern spots in the area. The cheeseburgers tasted as if they had an old meat loaf sitting in the back and they simply cut it up and served it to us. The fries were they're only saving grace. The Corn on the Cob was completely water logged and drowned in some kind of butter which made it worse. And now.... drum rolls please...... all of this for the price of $50.00 OMG!!! More expensive than the diners in the area or any other restaurant for that matter. Stay away from this dive and order from the several amazing places nearby... I have eaten in crappy Brooklyn, NY chicken spots that offered this very menu, only better and 50% cheaper. Definitely would not, could not and will not ever recommend this place which is directly up the block from my home. I'd rather jump in the car and throw my money to the wind before I do.
