Stopped in OC Diner this morning for breakfast. The service was impeccable - friendly, efficient, and customer-oriented. The food was also very good. I got the 222 Special, which included two pancakes, two eggs, and two pieces of bacon. Delicious. I had them add blueberries to the pancakes and they were plump, fresh, blueberries. Others got omelettes and oatmeal, and all were yummy. Since the last time we were here, they switched from the shredded potatoes to cooked sliced potatoes, like home fries. I'm gonna be straight here, food sucked. And service wasn't better. Waitress was a sweet girl but just the service wasn't good, slow and missed food. She didn't add items on the check which was a plus for us but still. Prices were insane for the food we got. The toast was cold and we had to apply our own butter which was not possible bc it was cold... When we gave the receipt back to the girl at the register we received dirty looks for the tip we gave. If the food and service isn't good you're not gonna get a 20% tip be grateful we left you a 15%. I don't recommend at all, waste of money and now I smell like nasty ahh food. read more

How have I not been here before, with all the times I've stayed right around the corner Went in early on a Saturday, with big events in town, and was surprised to be seated immediately. Coffee came out quickly, and gave me a few minutes to go over the menu. The coffee was ok, neither great or bad. Maybe a tad weak. The server took my order promptly, and brought the food out almost as quickly. Bacon, eggs, and toast were cooked just the way I like them, and the pricing was reasonable. OC Diner GOOD: Service and food BAD: 3% fee to use your credit card - this is an unnecessary jab as most consumers use credit cards. I suggested to the staff, add .15-.25 per entree if the processing fee is so bad. As a baked in meal cost, the customer won't feel miffed over an extra charge. OC Diner was a great experience. My server was excellent, the staff friendly and my steak and egg breakfast was wonderful. I didn't ding the Diner for the 3%, but it is annoying. I do recommend the restaurant. read more

This is everything a diner should be; friendly, intimate, fast and friendly service, and food that makes you feel good. We got a table for eight, four kids, four adults. We don't order anything that seemed special, just sausage, bacon, pancakes, hot chocolate. But I tell you that each of these seemingly ordinary dishes were prepared with care; all of us agreed that those were some of the best pancakes we've had at a diner. The waitstaff were friendly and they all seemed to enjoy being there. The owner even walked us out and asked if we enjoyed our meal. Small little details like this is what makes a restaurant part of the fabric of the community where it is situated. An excellent experience... I wish I took pictures. read more

This is no ordinary diner! The food is made with love and delicious! We wanted an all day breakfast place- so we came here! They have a lot more than breakfast and the food is hearty and flavorful. This was our last stop before. Leaving Ocean City, so we had mixed emotions. But this recapped the experience showcasing the top tier food selection! (August 2025) On this year's trip to Ocean City, my wife and I wanted to try new breakfast places. Early this morning, we came here. I ordered the 222 House Special ($15.99) which includes two eggs, two pancakes or French toast, and two sausages or bacon. My wife ordered the Short Stack of Pancakes ($11.99) and a side of scrambled eggs ($5.49) and a cup of mixed fruit ($4.99). The food was great, including my bacon which I requested to be made extra crispy. Although they don't serve ice coffee, Elif (our server) said she'd serve me a hot coffee but with a separate tall glass of ice. Definitely not a deterrent from me coming back here on a future Ocean City trip. read more

Warning: bogus credit card fee!!! We stopped in for breakfast recently and it was fine. Nothing special, nothing terrible. My only food complaint was that the only breakfast "bundle" called the 222 can't be altered. I don't eat breakfast meat so I had to order my items a la carte. Hubby also wanted iced coffee, which they didn't have, but thankfully our kind waitress gave him coffee with a cup of ice. Then comes the check with the bogus credit card fee!!! In this day and age, most businesses don't even take cash. It keeps the employees safe. Why would you want to put your employees in harms way by encouraging cash payments? It screams ROB US!!! And why would you charge customers the bogus fee for paying with a credit card? Bad business practice. read more

We live close by and gave this diner a try for the first time. The servers were friendly, and the food was very tasty. My eggs Benedict was cooked perfectly. Cute decor and the tables were clean. I liked the basket of flavored coffee creamers. I would have given 5 stars but the pricing is horrible. My husband had 3 pancakes w bacon and I had eggs Benedict and a coffee. After the 3% credit card fee (which is ridiculous) and 20% tip, we were out $55. Fifty five dollars! For basic breakfast for two. Sorry but I guess I'm not in the right tax bracket to enjoy pricing like that. If money is no issue and you just need some food, it's good. read more

What a hidden gem!! Like any good diner - it looks a lil sus outside but it is clean and bright inside. Great coffee was a surprise as well (you never know with diners) and the food was delicious. We both got the 2-2-2 (sausage and french toast for me and bacon and pancakes for my partner). My partner is a pancake connoisseur and he proclaimed these pancakes to be in the top 5 he's ever had!! He also asked for cheese to be added to his scrambled eggs and they put in inside instead of just putting on top like most places. Service was friendly and food came out quick. We had ordered the Italian sub, mushroom Swiss burger, bacon cheeseburger, Philly cheesesteak, and chicken Cheesesteak. Everything was prepared and sent out of the kitchen correctly, tasted superb. Buns were homemade and light, and meats were of good portions and quality. It's a small little building right off the main road outside of town. But I do recommend. I would also have to say, for what they sell there some things can be on the pricier end. Now what that being said, as a family owned business who prepares maybe all or most of their meals homemade. That can be understandable. I'd rather pay $17 for a sub that's absolutely delicious here, than a sub that's $17 somewhere else that is sub par. Me and my brother and mom went here and i think it was okay. The restaurant was really busy so it makes sense why our food took a while. If I could put zero stars, I would. I love diners and this one looked decent til we realized that what was written on the menu was not completely true. They charged separate drinks from kids meals, chocolate milk was $5.99, 4 pancakes (regular size not a stack of 6) was $21.99 and was separate from the pancake meal we saw on the picture! None of this was explained to us by the waitress. I think that if they were honest with themselves they would realize that the empty tables at brunch/ lunch is a sign their business and prices are not sustainable but they're just cashing in as much as they can. Hands down, the worst diner I've been.. and I'm from the diner capital of North America. If the owners are reading this-- revisit your menu and be honest to your customers. Your restaurant is not a landmark, it's not a hotspot or a destination. It's a tiny diner in ocean city-- get a grip of your pricing and perhaps business would be better. Ambience? What's that?
