Don't go here. I was down for a bachelorette party with a group of girls. My card was charged 2 different charges for my breakfast. I would have never noticed, but since someone else from our group said there was suspicious activity on her card from somewhere, it made me double check my online statements. I don't know if someone stole my credit card info there or made a mistake somehow. I tried to call the number for the restaurant to get the charge taken off but it said number not in service, which I thought was shady. So I had to call my bank to report it to get my money back and they had to send me another card. I barely got it in time for my vacation, and I would have been really pissed if I didn't get it. Food wasn't really great either. The pancakes were really flat and dry. Tasted like it was made earlier and reheated. Service wasn't that great either. There's so many better places to go , I would skip this one.

Stopped here for a small lunch while on the 24th street beach. This is located in the ground floor of the Howard Johnson hotel and the entrance is on the side facing 24th Street. Looks like an ample option for both pool folk at the hotel and also people coming off the beach - but it would be good if they had some signage out on the boardwalk to alert people to themselves. Looks like they renovated recently - new flooring, clean white bar faces and butcher block countertops. Staff was friendly and took our order quickly. This was a carry out order, and we went with a cheesesteak sub which came with fries, as well as an order of cheese sticks. The sun was very good - a good mix of cheese and steak- and the bread was fresh. As for the fries they weren't very fresh but good overall. The cheese sticks are BATTERED not breaded - which is my FAVORITE style. Marinara was tangy and very good as well. I was teetering between 3 and 4 stars - but the battered sticks puts it over the edge and into 4 star territory.

Decorating is questionable. Service is mid, but the workers are nice and know how to use respect. French toast is good but nothing shocking. Would choose a different place.

    Hole in the wall

Food tasted awful. Extremely high prices. When the waiter brought out our check, the price seemed oddly high. So we double checked the price of all the items on the menu and added tax, turns out he added 10 dollars more than the total bill. Do not come here. There was food all over the floor and flies, flying around the restaurant. There was also a hole in the wall being held together by duct tape.

Tomato, spinach and cheddar omelette with hash browns & wheat toast

Cute cafe. One Star for the coffee and one star for the amount of bacon provided. I made my own omelette, tomato, spinach and cheddar. Decent omelette. They only have hash browns and they weren't good (at all). The Mister had 3 eggs with bacon (+ extra bacon) and grits with toast. Eggs ok, good bacon & toast, hard grits, couldn't eat them. $50 w/tip... never again. The hostess team was very friendly and pleasant. Our hostess never shared her name was efficient but not engaging.

Kahuna - 2 over medium eggs, came with French toast and two pieces of bacon ( bacon ate before picture taken)

Good breakfast spot! Space is small but if it's not too crowded then it's definitely worth the wait.

Chill breakfast vibes & a dog friendly patio!…read more OCEAN CITY, MD: Malia's Cafe was the perfect final stop on our OCMD trip, a cozy breakfast, brunch, and lunch spot with dog friendly outdoor seating and all the classic comfort‑food vibes. Fresh dishes, breezy air drifting up from the beach, and a comfy awning that keeps you shaded make it such an easy, relaxing place to start your day. Simple, delicious, and super welcoming, exactly what you want before heading home.

We saw some good ratings and gave this place a shot and we weren't disappointed. We were greeted by a friendly and welcoming staff who helped us make the right selection. As my wife was fasting, she went with a small fruit bowl, my son chose shortstack pancakes, and I tried the veggie hash. The fruit bowl was decorated well and had plenty of variety. From blueberries, strawberries, kiwi, watermelons, apples, bananas, and others, all the fruits were fresh and perfectly ripe. The pancakes were very large and just one would have been more than enough for two people it seems but they even added berries for my son on them. The veggie hash had lots of potential. It was cooked well, however, lacked seasoning. It seemed slightly bland and I had to utilize ketchup to give it some identity. However, the quality and variety of veggies inside was great. Overall, I am giving four stars due to the fact that the prices are high, but the service and quality are worth it; especially for such a close location to the boardwalk.

We were set on getting the salmon and the swordfish dishes which we did, and it did not disappoint! They were the most delicious dishes I had experienced in a long time. I asked about the seasoning on the salmon and the waitress, who was fabulous, said it was Moroccan. I loved the hint of cinnamon but according to the Moroccan spice I looked at on the web, it is a combination of numerous spices which amounts to a delicious combination of flavors. Both dishes were paired perfectly with their sides and sauces. I have never left a review about a restaurant before. This will be one of my few unforgettable meals. If dining inside, bring a sweater. They don't skimp on their air-conditioning. It was a cool night so we ate outside which was nice, but what made it nicer was our wonderful waitress, Fanika(?), who had the most awesome, helpful, outgoing personality that makes a dining experience that much better. And she was right about the coconut espresso martini. It was delicious! She also mentioned that the menus are seasonal so I am looking forward to returning to Hooked when I'm back in OC and trying other meals. I'm hooked!!

Still a 5-star experience!…read more The cream of crab is THE BEST in Ocean City. Plain and simple. This trip I got the grilled chicken club sandwich with pasta salad. It was really good but I should have read where it came with ham slices. I would have asked it without that. Very good - I have been here 6-7 times and they never miss. Best all-around place in OCMD.

Longboard Cafe for dinner was a last minute decision made on a whim and it sure didn't disappoint…read more My wife found Longboard Cafe and we immediately thought the menu looked great. We arrived a little before happy hour ended in hopes we could score bar seats. The bar was packed and the restaurant had over an hour wait to be seated. We put our name in, grabbed a drink from the bar, and pondered our next move. Luckily, before we could even finish our drink our table was ready. We were seated upstairs with one other party away from the crowd and the noise. I will say that every single employee we encountered from the hostess, to the bartender, our server, and even the bussers were all incredibly warm, welcoming, and went out of their way to ensure service was up to par. My wife wanted to start with The Kitchen Sink (Nachos with salsa, guacamole, and queso). A great little appetizer to split and pick at while looking over the menu. All three were very good but I thought the guac really stood out. We also ordered the Longboard Wings which aren't your traditional buffalo wings but were delicious in their own right with incredible crunch. As long as you like sticky, sweet wings these wings are for you. For entrees we had the Longboard Burger, Ahi Burger, Fried Cod Tacos, and Yang Yang Cauliflower Bites. The food came out looking great. Bright colors filled the plates and presentation was on point. Our meals were a hit. My dad liked his burger. My mom loved the Cauliflower (which we all loved too because my mom shared it with us). My ahi burger was delicious, and something out of the ordinary for me, despite a few strands of tough connective tissue I had to eat around. The batter on my wife's fried Cod tacos was light and crisp, and the fish itself was flaky. I just wish the sandwiches came with fries instead of pasta salad or mixed greens. As much as we enjoyed our meals, I've already got my eye on a few other menu items next time we visit!
