After seeing the reviews and seeing how packed out this place got. my family and I decided to try this place out it's cute and friendly employees but definitely doesn't ask how food was or ask if everything's ok they always busy tryna get other people served honest review after spending $60 on breakfast and not being able to enjoy it do to tasting like play-doe just inedible got pancakes and waffles an just wasn't it. wait was also very long wait as I read in reviews but presentation and looks definitely attracted me to thinking it was a good place.

07/28/26 - Service was good. Very colorful place. Small and it has indoor and outdoor dining. Food was great perfect portion. I definitely recommend getting the steak and eggs. 07/29/26 - Service was good again and food was good again came back for a second time. But this time got the Breakfast Burrito and chips and salsa. Very filling and delicious. Definitely recommend if you like breakfast burritos. I also recommend get bacon and it is a like candy bacon. The secret is that they put sugar on the back to give it a sweet caramelized flavor. They bake it in the oven.

I wanted a quick breakfast during my recent stay in Ocean City and this place came up on Yelp - looked like a cute little diner feel, so I went with it. It was off-season, so I was able to park right across from the restaurant. The exterior and interior are very tropical-kitschy, and it gives off a family-friendly vacay feel. Service was fast and very friendly. I was feeling like a solid breakfast sandwich, so I ordered the RVD. I'm not crazy about everything bagels, so I asked to replace it with a plain one. So - this was a tough one. The bagel wasn't very good - kind of on par with a store bought Thomas Bagel, and then the sandwich was hard to eat. Everything was falling out. Too much egg falling out, too much sauce squishing out. Avocado trying to escape with each bite. I guess some folks like that since it was a lot of food for the price, but I like my sandwiches portioned so I can eat them without ending up wearing them. The sandwich also came with hash browns - which were a little too crispy for my taste. Overall, it was okay - but nothing I'd be jumping to return to next time I'm in town.

Really cute spot with excellent food and service! It's one of those hidden gems you find tucked away on the side streets off the boardwalk.

Service: 5 Food: 5 Ambiance: 5 This is a very cute breakfast spot in Ocean City, gives a homey feel. I love the colorful ocean/sea decor. They did great with our to go order of 2 bacon egg cheese on white bread sandwiches with OJ and coffee. We were in and out in about 10 minutes. We really enjoyed our sandwiches and wanted to try other breakfast options so we came back the following day! We got seated within 2 mins (went in about 9:50am on a Sunday. We were greeted by our server and a couple mins later. She took our order of crab omelette with wheat bread, steak and eggs over easy with white bread, coffee, OJ. Their coffee is bold, which I love. We finished both of our entrees! Definitely get the crab omelette. It was super creamy, not too salty, I love the sprinkle of old bay and that it's topped with a good serving of avocado. My husband got the steak and eggs but make sure to get it medium. Will definitely add this to our list of Ocean City breakfast spots.

Malia's Cafe is a breakfast and lunch cafe that opened in Ocean City, Maryland in May 2011. It was founded by restaurateur Malia Ricks. The cafe is located on the ground floor underneath the Spinnaker Hotel. The space was previously home to the Spinnaker Cafe and Mad Hatter's Cafe. Ricks was one of the original owners of the latter. She was born in Hawaii but grew up in California before relocating to Ocean City. She spent a lot of time in the kitchen while growing up and soon developed a passion for cooking. With her latest business venture, she brings consumers a wide range of healthy breakfast and lunch items with several vegetarian and vegan options. Nearly everything is made from scratch, using fresh and locally sourced ingredients. Some of the menu staples include omelettes, pancakes, waffles, sandwiches, wraps, salads and various appetizers. My family and I recently visited Malia's Cafe while we were on an East Coast Road Trip. While exploring the boardwalk area, we got hungry for lunch. I looked on the Yelp app to see what was good nearby and Malia's Cafe come up as a result. We walked over and asked to be seated outside. After looking over the menu, my wife and I decided to order and share some Mediterranean staples: Falafel in a Pita and the Greek Salad with Grilled Chicken on top. Not only were both dishes delicious but also very fresh tasting. We also really loved the interior of Malia's which featured beautiful hand-painted wall murals that enhanced their beach café ambiance. We would definitely stop here again on a future trip to Ocean City.

I got a text that my order was done 8 minutes ahead of schedule, which is totally fine. However, once I got there about 5 minutes later they told me it wasn't ready. Well, after waiting another couple of minutes it turns out my order was made and went somewhere or to someone else. They remade my order quickly after that, however there was no apology or anything. The only reason why I know what happened is because you can stand by the counter and watch and listen to them work. Don't get me wrong, if I'm craving a crepe in OCMD I'm headed to Crepe Daddy, but be prepared for a chaotic ordering experience if you go during breakfast.

We went twice for lunch. I got the Creppy Rachel (turkey Reuben with sauerkraut, cheese, Thousand Island dressing) and my husband got the Chicken BLT both times. First time, my Creppy Rachel was just perfect - soft, full crepe with the warm turkey, sauerkraut, melted cheese with the Thousand Island drizzled on). Second time, my crepe was tough, crispy and hard to cut with the plastic silverware yet my cheese wasn't melted and sauerkraut a bit cool. My husband said he had the opposite experience with his Chicken BLT. So, I deducted a star from my review. The food was good but it can be hit or miss with getting a crispy, tough crepe. The staff at the counter taking our order were nice both times, and they bring out the crepe to you.
