I've been to different massage places but this was the most unusual experience. Most of the time the massage was dry rubbing or constant rubbing me. It was also pulsating massage instead of a nice subtle pressure. I've done deep tissue and swedish at multiple places so I thought this was odd. Additionally, when they massaged my neck, I felt like they were pressing down on my carotid artery. Overall, I felt like the person doing my massage wasn't trained well or it was overall very odd. I disliked the constant repetitive rubbing over my shoulders. There was no compression and it just felt like they were just rubbing to make me feel like this was deep. There was no variation in technique at all. I was really disappointed by my experience.

Each visit has been a very pleasant occasion, and I will return as a regular customer. I have lower back issues that have been a problem for years, and my preference is for deep muscle work to relieve tightness. The different drill bits that Tracy used are to exfoliate the cuticles and around your nail bed, so minimal cutting/trimming is done. I made another appointment through their website for 07.13.26, again with Tracy, to have my gel manicure and gel pedicure removed and this time chose the combination classic manicure and classic pedicure. Basic treatments as before except for regular polish, not gel. Loved every minute of it! I would highly recommend this place! Convenient location. It was easy to schedule an appointment through their website. I am so happy I did and can't wait for my next manicure! I decided to go back to my natural nails so I got an acrylic removal and a gel manicure. I can't state enough how impressed I was with their attention to detail during the entire experience. They did not rush through the process and took their time to paint on the nail design I requested. I sometimes don't have a ton to chat about but everyone was nice and let me sit quietly listening to the music and watching people queue on the boba line outside. Needless to say, I highly recommend.

This place is absolutely amazing! At first I was a little nervous because had never gotten acupuncture before, but the acupuncturist Stephanie was very nice. She is very easy going and down to earth. She also seemed like she knew exactly what she was doing espically because she went to nursing school. She took me through the process step by step and told me what she was going to do with each needle and how it would help me. And it didn't hurt at all! Dr. Stephanie is great. Very caring and intuitive. She creates a relaxing environment and each time I have felt better. As she gets to know me and my needs, she is able to hone in on the acupuncture points I need for healing. Cindy in 2007 made the comment about forgetting to take out the needles. This is very common for acupuncturists. From what I have witnessed after 5 sessions, Dr. Stephanie is very good at helping people reduce pain and optimize healing. read more

He also now has numbness in his foot that he didn't have before. It's been a week since treatment and his foot is still numb and the back pain and leg pain haven't gotten any better. He walked in to the appointment and has been flat on his back in bed since then. I emailed the doctor through yelp and no one responded. It's been several days.

The left one was the remnant of a slipped disk that created an uncomfortable amount of burning pain for several long months in the left leg and leaving the muscles atrophied and weak. Since the right lumbar almost always hurt in one way or another and my neck was always and repeatedly stiff, I finally decided to go looking again for a therapist. I contacted a number of therapists, but Laura's response was so simple, direct and pleasant, I decided to try her services. Good Choice In the first session the sharp residual pain in the left lumbar was gone within days and by the third session I realized I had made the right choice. Laura has an uncanny energy and a clear ability to connect to the human organism, allowing her to perceive and understand its needs, quibbles, defects and problems; no doubt supported by her manifestly impressive knowledge of the musculoskeletal anatomy. She has a light touch, but also a powerful force where needed--and I have certainly often needed her energy and her force.
