So we took a ride across the causeway and landed up at Shultey's and upon arriving and waiting for 2 minutes with wait staff passing us by left and right finally barkeep says sorry we don't open until 5. Ummm couldn't you have told us that immediately?? Well anyway I decided we leave the car and walk to The Clam Bar @ the bridge and I am so glad we did. I haven't been here in forever. The kids who are out front running this are superb. Each kid was so polite and totally on point. Hot from the walk we were given two cups of ice water which hit the spot. We ordered 2 IPA's and they were delicious . To start we got the seafood sampler- 4 oysters, 4 little necks and 3 jumbo shrimp cocktails omg so good and fresh as can be. Next up were another 6 little necks with a cold seafood salad which was served ice cold in a lettuce boat with shrimp, baby scallops, calamari, celery and onion and that absolutely blew us away. To cap it off we got fish and chips and this might have been some of the best I've ever had. The fish was light, airy and the crust was perfect, not greasy and 3 huge pieces. The chips were beer battered and sprinkled with paprika imo and they were fabulous. We left for the walk back with full belly's, a little sun and a jar of fresh pickles from @Nickypickles and we couldn't be happier.

The first time we arrived without a reservation and we asked if Jimmy was there and was informed he wasn't - we shared our long history of his many backyard raw bars for our family parties. The staff was happy to help us and low and behold a cancelled reservation gave us our perfect table. I actually got teary eyed as a looked around the beautiful restaurant that truly compliments the amazing food. We returned the next day before a wedding to finally see Jimmy for amazing raw bar and a delicious lobster roll and cocktails. I will travel from NJ for Schultzy's again and again. He stops and points at a table in the back, gesturing for me to squeeze between two customers. I choose to walk around a different way and the host is still gesturing for me to squeeze between to chairs when the host himself wouldn't even walk through. It was beyond strange. We sit down and have some time and order our drinks and my friend knows we need to order the rest of our meal at the same time. We order baked oysters and I ordered the special- lamb My friend orders the flounder with risotto because it never disappoints We ordered the cappuccino heath bar ice cream pie and that was incredible! May have been my favorite part of the meal We received the ice cream pie and not even a minute later, a server, who was different than our original server, put the check down. And not even 10 minutes later, he came to check if we had put down a credit card It was not even 10pm yet (mind you, they close at 11pm) I can understand if it was past closing and we were the only ones left but it wasn't even close and there were still other patrons.
