It is supposed to be a seafood restaurant but the seafood was zero seasoned, dry and way overcooked. The place was empty so you could not blame too busy as an excuse. The prices are astronomical and even worse when you consider what they serve in terms of quantity and quality. The main course seafood sampler was a total tasteless overcooked loser priced at $49! The lobster bisque was also lacking flavor. It was sprinkled with a few random tiny lobster pieces. The clams orenginati were the little bit bigger than a quarter and had zero oregano flavor. Don't waste your time or money. I presume their survival depends on the large number of one time visitors. There is absolutely no reason to consider coming back to this place. STAY AWAY. read more

First, the food was great - very impressed by the Firecracker Shrimp and Spicy Tuna Tacos. Both had a perfect combination of heat and sweet. Tried to go around 5:30 today. I got in the valet parking line - 6th in line, while my wife went in and confirmed there was a table for three outside. 15 minutes later I had not moved and parking attendant yelled at us to move so people can exit the too small parking lot. After 10 more minutes and no movement, we did an 8 point turn and left. The parking in the area is terrible and WW adds to it with their crappy parking process. The most horrible experience started with a 45 minute wait for valet to park my car. Topped off by an additional 40 minutes if I wanted to sit outdoor. The kicker was the lack of items they didn't have that were on the menu. Paid $7.00 for a few pieces of bread and butter. Food was inedible. Never again. Well if you want to feel you're on beach vacation without flying out to the Caribbean this is the place for you. You have the option on eating right on the beach. First come first serve , reservations are for parties 8 and over and made through the catering manager, Frank. There is only nature's natural music of small waves hitting the shore.. wear sandals or flip flops and get your toes in the sand and make sure you have a cool drink in your hand. Watch the boats, jet ski's and the most romantic and beautiful sunsets this side of Marco. This is why you come to Wall's Wharf to escape reality and all the noise. Food is very good, great Pork Chop and the firecracker shrimp cheese burger is a must. Start with delicious baked stuffed clams.. plenty of mozzarella in these clams. Been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. Got here early to eat and watch the sunset. We were greeted when we walked in and seated immediately outside. Our waitress greeted us and offered us drinks. I got an aperol and it was made just right. We ordered a hummus appetizer with hot honey drizzled over it. It was so good. The hummus portion was very generous. To eat I had to have the mussels in red sauce. It's a huge portion and they are always fresh and flavorful. Husband got the fried shrimp salad. So .. I have driven by this place 100 times .. it's right on the Long Island Sound .. first ..no street parking, all valet . I went in in the afternoon .. on a Wednesday .. Woody, the bartender, is old school, classic, knows everybody in the place, all o er 70. He was super welcoming to me and others that obviously were not regulars . Party of 6 ordered three lobster rolls at $45 a piece that were very disappointing. Meager size, lacking flavor and served with luke warm fries. Disgusted just thinking about it. Swordfish was a better entre. Scallops will leave you hungry. Pleasant service but unattentive. Ketchup and something else we requested showed up after a second request at mid-meal. We were left with the impression that no one really cares. We've eaten here once a year for a decade or more. Always just long enough between visits to have forgotten how bad the previous meal was. And if that wasn't bad enough we waited 1 hour for table outside (granted it was peak dinner time- the staff couldn't manage the tables accordingly to accommodate the customers.). Walls Wharf is one of my popular restaurant choices when wanting to dine seaside on Long Island. I have brought many out-of-town friends here for lunch for the pleasant calming views and especially the out of towners that still believe that all Long Island is flat. The restaurant has an indoor traditional wood bar that overlooks the Sound while seated. It is spectacular seat at the bar to relax while dining. There is seating indoor dining room with large window views of the Sound. We sat on the lower outdoor patio with a clear view of the Long Island Sound. The sky was clear enough to see Connecticut across the sound. Our service was good, and attentive as enjoyed the relaxing lunch in afternoon. For lunch, I chose something unusual, a Fried Shrimp BLT which was delicious. I came for dinner on a busy July 4th weekend. They have valet parking but it took a while to even get in. We also had to wait for a table since we had a huge party of 17 people but it was fine since it was a great day. It wasn't too hot out by evening time, the sun was still up so we took a few pictures on the sand with the palm trees. We were lucky to get seated outside, so we were literally eating on the sand, by the water. The view was amazing! We were able to see the sun setting while we dined. Service was decent - they took a while to take our orders as well as for the food to come out but no one was in a rush in our party anyway; must be the beach vibes. The menu isn't that extensive which is good since it allows everyone to be more decisive. I was able to try the beach ball appetizer, salmon teriyaki bowl, horseradish truffle salmon, shrimp scampi, crispy chicken milanese, and Mediterranean chicken sandwich. Everything was very flavorful and I enjoyed it all but the portions are a bit small which is why we ordered a few additional things on our end to share. Come for the vibes and beautiful ocean view! Going to be seated at a table on the beach and the chairs and table were filthy. Waited 5 mins for someone to come clean them so we could sit down and they didn't do all the chairs so I had to wipe down on my own. There menu is excellent, which offers a variety of option.when we look for fresh fish options, they offer numerous options. Last time there we had the seafood grill, which included a flakey flounder, two huge scallops and 2 shrimp, with wild rice, fresh carrots and string beans. First of all, it's hard to find the parking. we were looking for sitting outside, but they told us we should wait for an hour.
