We had exceptional service by the wonderful Morgan. And the food. My wife's Chicken Breslau salad was sensational My Black and white tuna wrap was tasty fresh and delicious. Although the view is beautiful and the server did a great job. The manager was nasty! It was extremely hot in the dinning area. When we asked to close the door going to the outside deck we were told no, when we asked to have the AC adjusted, we were told no. Every time I have been there it's been nothing but outstanding in every way. Good variety of prices too. There's the complete deck seating with umbrellas, the porch with big window or if you prefer you can sit in the indoor dining room. Great friendly staff. My wife is scheduled to attend a dinner here in a few weeks, so we decided to give them a try. The location is right next to the marina, so outdoor tables get a spectacular view. We were quickly served and made our choices for food and drink. I went with the lobster and avocado salad, and a fine choice it was. My wife got a tuna wrap. The latter was generous enough that it will make a second lunch later in the week. The other diners tended to be senior citizens like ourselves, but the women in front of us had a baby carriage that remained silent the entire time. Food and service were all on the exemplary side. I was surprised that this spot isn't rated more highly on Yelp. I came here on a late Saturday afternoon with my boyfriend to try to make the most of the gloomy weather, and was happy to find a spot at the bar on the rooftop overlooking the water right away. Anthony was our bartender and took great care of us, making sure drinks were to our liking and telling us about their food menu (we had already eaten, but maybe next time!). I loved that there were so many fun cocktails to choose from. They have a creative list of martinis, summery cocktails like Rocket Fuel and a delicious blueberry vodka lemonade, plus a ton of beer and wine options to choose from. I expected drink prices to be much higher given the location and the waterfront view, but was happy to find that most drinks were in the 10-14 dollar range (which feels like a steal coming here from the city!). If you're on the fence about coming here due to the bad reviews, I'd look past them and give this place a try before summer comes to an end. read more

Came here on a beautiful night to enjoy the rooftop views for happy hour and ended up staying for hours. I had a couple apple martinis, raspberry cosmos and finished the night with an espresso martini. I never have that many sugary drinks in one day but I got caught up in the moment and they were all refreshing. My friend and I split a few things on the HH menu- mozzarella sticks, quesadilla, chicken tenders and calamari which came with both a marinara and Thai sauce to dip. I've never had calamari so I gave it a shot but I didn't like it. The other foods were basic bar food so they were tasty. I'd love to come again and enjoy some of the other dishes not on happy hour. Everyone needs to know. Their calamari is those crappy rings, perhaps frozen, not fully breaded and fried. The thai chili sauce is bottled, the marinara for dipping is watery and bland. The clam sauce is definitely canned, the white sauce was bland and had lil to no wine, had to ask for bread with the meal. All the service is kids, bussers aggressively trying to clear dishes that still had food (i don't know why restaurants can't get this right) . Prob shouldn't have relied on it for real dishes. Went for lunch yesterday with friends...ordered the Bay Vue Panini on the menu. When the food arrived, the panini I ordered, was not a panini. It was a sandwich...served on soft bread. A panini is a GRILLED sandwich, crunchy on the outside, and warm on the inside. Very disappointed...would never return to this restaurant. Service staff also left a lot to be desired. The only good thing about this restaurant is the view...find somewhere else to eat. read more

Great outside location on the marina. They have deck seating, an inside bar and restaurant area and an upstairs roof top area that has a bar, regular tables and high tops. The upstairs area gets crowded especially when there is live music on a Sunday night. It's hard to grab a table there. According to the hostess when you first enter there is no wait list for the roof top. We tried the roof top and the young man tried his best to find a table but demand was higher than what was available. There were empty high tops but no chairs since other customers took those chairs to where they were hanging out drinking. It was confusing since some people just wanted drink while others wanted to sit an order dinner. We ended up sitting outside on the first level. Food came fast despite that there was a 50th birthday party with 20 people ordering at the same time. Kudos to the kitchen staff in organizing the flow of the meals. Food was good. They even have a dedicated sushi chef. We will return. Wait staff was phenomenal, never have I seen such a dedicated professional young team attending to all customers helmed by the excellent management team of Gloria and Gina. read more

Nice little place on the water! We came here in the afternoon and were seated right away. We had ordered the oysters, lobster roll and sushi. (I can't recall the name of it but it was the last roll on the menu!) The drinks were pretty good and around $12 each. The sushi roll ($19) was a little expensive as it was only 5 pieces and so I was still a little hungry after. The sushi was okay, it didn't taste completely fresh but it was still good for what it was. My boyfriend most certainly enjoyed the lobster though, so if you're debating getting the lobster roll I'd say go for it! The staff was all very friendly too which was a plus. read more

I'm sad to say this place has gone downhill. It was one of the last restaurants I went to before moving to Arizona from Long Island in 2016. Back then, I enjoyed it so much that I made a point of going back on my recent visit. I was with a group of 11 people so I called ahead to see if we would be able to be accommodated. The girl I spoke to was friendly and told us to come on down because they were slow so we'd be seated right away. Maybe I should have taken that as a sign. The last time I was there, all of the indoor and outdoor tables were full. This time around, ours was the only occupied table for the entirety of our visit. The only other patrons were a few men seated at the bar for what seemed like an after-work drink. Our waiter was friendly. I actually feel sorry for the waitstaff because they all seem super nice and accommodating, and their efforts may be wasted here, especially considering the quality, or lack thereof, coming out of the kitchen. I used to tell people that BayVue had THE BEST baked clams. Unfortunately, I have to rescind that statement. The clams are totally different than they were a few years ago! These looked okay, but the texture and flavor were totally off. They were gloppy and weird. The sauce covering them was nothing more than a flavorless gel. My cousin started with the calamari and said it wasn't great-- chewy, which is never really enjoyable when eating calamari. A few others at our table began with the seafood bisque and the common opinion was that it was nothing special-- sort of underwhelming. For dinner a few of us ordered the crab cake roll. I was actually really excited for this because 1. I love crab cakes, and 2. I love lobster rolls, so the idea of a lobster roll-ish take on a crab cake is what shellfish dreams are made of. What I got was a dry, over-cooked thick crab cake (with little crabmeat in it I might add) sandwiched between a large, stale bun, topped with lettuce and tomato, and missing the spread. Big disappointment. I was happier eating the fries and even they were just okay. I'm not sure if ownership here changed, or if changes were made in the kitchen, but something is definitely off. Such a bummer because the location is great. I hope someone can turn this place around! read more

Came here with my husband to enjoy dinner on the water. I had the seafood pasta and he had cajun shrimp with pineapple and rice. We both enjoyed our meal and drinks. The service was great and food arrived within decent time. We love being by the water and this place gave us just what we needed. Great place to go to when you wanna go on the water. Food, drinks and staff was great. I did not realize that this restaurant was next to Chateau La Mer. I loved that we could sit next to the docks. There is an entrance to the docks, which my dads girlfriend and j didn't realize until someone walked that way. They did serve sushi, which I did t expect, but I'm not surprised. I had a salmon dish, which was amazing. I will definitely be coming back here to try more dishes and drinks. I will try to come on my boat, even though I'm not that far from the restaurant. I booked a reservation for 600 for outside seating. I drove 40 minutes to only be told we can't guarantee outdoor seating. What a joke? You specifically book a reservation to sit outdoors on a beautiful day to only be told we can seat you indoors. Along with my wife and our friends, we went for a lite dinner last night. The food was very good and so was the service. Prices were fairly reasonable and the entire experience was quite pleasant. Great lunch spot with a nice water view. I love that the back covered patio had open windows. We were a table of 6, including one high chair so we were able to make a reservation the day before. The waitstaff was very attentive and everyone enjoyed their meals. The table had the Cobb salad, clam chowder, fish (cod) tacos and kids hamburger. Everything tasted fresh and I liked that the fish wasn't fried. There were a few bees lingering around but being semi-outside makes that difficult to control. I have mixed feeling about this restaurant. The location and the view was amazing. Right on the marina we had a great view of the docks and the boats coming in and out. It was a warm summer evening and the cocktails where great. Unfortunately it was down hill from there. It was hard to tell if the outside tables where weather worn or dirty. The apps arrived quickly but sorry to say the Fried Calamari was rubbery and the Baked Clams were mostly bread crumbs and celery the clams were no where to be found. Not what I expected for a seafood restaurant. I have the Strip Steak which was the special. It was tough and over cooked, served in a bowl with mashed potatoes and steamed veggies. This made the steak very difficult to cut. The veggies were an odd combination of broccoli, green beans, carrots and celery and had no taste or appeal. The Lobster Roll was a fair size prepared cold with Mayo. I would have preferred and toasted split top bun rather than and an in toasted bun.
