Stopped in for a slice after sunset and was disappointed in the food itself, the service, and the atmosphere in general. I didn't have high expectations to begin with, but my veggie slice was tasteless. I have never before felt the need to put salt on a slice of pizza, but this could have used something! My other half and I sat outside on one of the few picnic tables, but we were a bit hard pressed to find a table that wasn't covered in a previous diner's empty plates and food scraps. This ideal seating on Main Street was ruined by the mess we had to sit around. There were two girls working inside and it was not busy. Perhaps one of them could have cleaned up their outdoor dining area? I would recommend this place if you're looking for something to eat after a night of drinking, but if you're sober and just trying to find a decent slice-- look somewhere else. read more

I was startled when the employee at Bazzis hung up on me. I called at 12:36 when they are advertised as open until 1am. I politely asked if we could order a pizza and she hung up on me. A subsequent phone call was answered with "you can order wise guys food until 2am"... and then she hung up again. As with many of the restaurants in Lake Placid they are hit or miss, well Bazzi's was a true miss. The place was very dirty you can see that it has not been cleaned in LONG TIME . Inside it just felt dark and grimy, need a fresh coat of paint and a deep clean. The lady at the counter was nice but seemed tired and overwhelmed, I was given the wrong pizza and she did give us a full refund no problem. The cooks in the back looked kinda sketchy . This is another example of a restaurant in a touristy town with a prime location that banks on the fact they will keep getting customers because they are mostly on vacation and passing through. The pizza is not good, no flavor on the buffalo chicken, it was literally flavorless crust with dry chicken and a little cheese. No sauce of any kind. Expensive and not good, employees are not what I would describe as friendly. Won't be repeating this experience. read more

We stopped here after a night at the bar and this place really hit the spot. We ordered the garlic knots, and then followed up with a couple slices of pizza. My boyfriend and I were out exploring all day and decided we wanted pizza and came across this place! He ordered a calzone and literally got a piece of calzone shaped bread sliced in half with a little mozzarella and ricotta in the middle. I got a salad and was presented with a pile of iceberg lettuce three slices of tomatoes and a few onions. Nothing was fresh. The only thing really close to good relatively speaking was the spinach tomato white pizza which did not have enough seasoning and our drinks that were from Nantucket Nectars. Not impressed. Walked away unsatisfied. Highly recommend you walk away. Unless you want crappy pizza. read more

Ordered a Medium Meatlovers and a Medium Margherita Pizza, and on the Meatlovers we asked for added onions and mushrooms. When the food came, that Meatlovers ONLY had mushroom and onions, no MEAT. Hoping this was just a fluke, but since we're leaving town tomorrow we won't be eating here again. The rest of the food smelled good, but is VERY greasy. Upon eating it, I'm highly disappointed. The margherita pizza was cool and gross, the garlic toast was NASTY, and I'm pretty sure I'm gonna get heartburn from this food. Grab your Tums! read more

Got a calzone, veggies inside were barely cooked, corners where rock hard, when we asked the non-English speaking waitress for water she pointed to the bottled water in the fridge. However other tables around is had glasses of water! Don't go here worst food and service I have ever had, oh and they forgot to bring out our appetizer... Rip off! Four slices and one Snapple came to $15. When I questioned the bill, I was told $3 per slice, $3 for Snapple. WHAT? I asked the price of a pie and was told $14, Should have recommended me purchasing a pie for $2 more. When I asked about this, all I received was an indifferent shoulder shrug. $3 a slice for pizza that was NOT that good. No prices were displayed in store. A different price for local residents and those who are visiting the area? I WILL NOT be back. read more

This place is really great; fast service, delicious food and fair prices. They are open late on the weekends (starting Thursday night) and have FREE delivery. Worst service I have ever experienced. We sat inside to eat, had to get our own drinks, and after waiting over 30 minutes and seeing people who came in much later get their pizza realized ours wasnt coming. Our server just say and chatted with a friend, it was another server that finally saw us glaring and ask her what was going on with us. They she didn't even apologize just said, "oh there was a mix up" she asked us if we still wanted it, and of course we didn't want to wait any longer and were starving so we just had a slice, paid and left. The pizza wasn't anything special, I've had frozen ones that were better! Also I overheard our server with another customer and when asked what was on the spinach salad she respond " ya, I have no idea" wow how does this girl still have a job! read more

Awful! Pizza was stale and very bland. Customer service is not of high value. I stood and waited for 10 min while the girls talked to each other. Then they take money, grab pizza and put it in the oven without gloves or washing hands. Just awful! read more

This place definitely doesn't look like much but for price and taste it definitely hits the spot. It also has good operating hours. Granted we were hungry hockey players there for a tournament but even as leftovers it was very good food. read more
