Beware of the up-sale in this place!!! They won't get my money again... Went in and ordered some chicken to go, while waiting for a long time for the chicken the waitress asked me if I would like something to drink, I see you've been waiting a long time, I said a coke would be nice, so I figured she was offering a drink because of the long wait, she gave me a fountain coke. Another 10 minutes passed and my food comes, I said thanks and she gives me a bill for the coke, I didn't think anything of it, how much can a fountain coke be$2.00 no it was $3.20!!! I've never had Korean cheese wings before and I've seen it on YouTube Shorts of Korean food that I absolutely must have some, and this place had it!! It was everything I've dreamed of and much more. Very very tasty!! If you love white cheddar popcorn, it's almost has that same texture except for it has tons of flavor and they have plenty of cheese on it. The chicken was full of flavor and It didn't even need sauce, that's how great it was. Please don't ever stop selling the cheese flavored food!~ I'll have to try their fries next! I actually love the korean fried chicken at this location. The chicken is cooked to order, fresh, consistently good, and great flavors. The restaurant is clean whenever I go. I have been going since they opened but have noticed a couple changes over time that I wanted to point out. The service has gotten worse or nonexistent since opening. The last couple of times, it took longer than usual for staff to come take our order even though it was not that busy. Food arrived before drinks/water. No refills and having to flag down staff for a refill. A couple previous visits, I was also caught offguard when it came time to pay because the staff presented me with a tablet during payment. It wasn't the tablet for payment but the fact that he held the tablet while waiting on me to enter the payment and tip amount. It felt intimidating or guilt tripped, lol. Also, if i remember, the highest amount % was also the first option. Usually, the lowest % amount is first so if you're not attentive, you may end up selecting the 20% or 22% since that was the first option vs the usual 15% or 18%. While that may be great for awesome service, but slow service, no refills, and no check-in, left a poor experience. It would be a 5 star review but deducted for the recent poor service and inconsistent payment experience. I would still return for the food, but probably do takeout to avoid the poor service and expected tip for that poor service. read more

I am sad that I did not know this restaurant was here until a couple hours ago. I love KFC and have always looked for new places to try it. They did not disappoint. I ordered the Honey Garlic boneless wings. I was thinking I was paying too much for six pieces but they were the biggest boneless wings I have ever had. They were still super crunchy even after delivery to Apex, and very flavorful. The quality of the chicken was very good, and I'm picky when it comes to weird looking chicken. I am a little worried that I know they exist now because I can see me ordering it way too often. I'm excited to try different flavors. read more

The chicken is fresh and delicious! Visited twice so far and have had the hot mala boneless,hot galbi boneless , hot and spicy wings and golden original boneless (for the kids). Comes with side of pickled radish which are sweet and crispy to offset the spicy chicken. The hot and spicy is my favorite. The ladies were very helpful and patient when ordering. We entered the establishment as a medium-sized group, anticipating a reasonable wait time given both our party size and the dining hour-- not during rush hour, but still a fairly populous period. After conversing and agreeing on our meal, we ordered three items to share among the table. Patiently, we waited, feeling curious, eager, and perhaps even excited about trying out this new Korean BBQ Chicken establishment. Half an hour passed, and although we were hungry, we still held high hopes. We spoke to our server, who assured us our meal was just around the corner--out of sight but never out of mind. Another hour went by, and some of us began to succumb to fidgeting, small tears in napkins, and babbling. Nevertheless, we continued to wait, like the fools we are. Hungry eyes turned towards other tables, noticing that those who arrived after us were already enjoying their meals. We wondered how difficult it could be for a simple side to be brought to our table. Another half hour passed, and our patience wore thin. The promise of a feast lingered on everyone's mind. The servers continued to promise that our food would be out shortly, but nothing changed. While Sisyphus may have experienced eternity, one can imagine him happy--unlike our table, which at this point considered abandoning this ill-fated venture. Finally, after speaking out to our server, the food arrived. After seeing countless dishes pass us to people who entered the establishment after us, we received only one-third of our meal. It felt like a sick joke; the monkey's paw curled its wretched finger and laughed before us. Despite our hunger, the meal was poor. What was supposed to be chicken was met only with the breaded crumbs of exasperation. The lively atmosphere of the place had deceived us with falsehoods. Without choosing to wait for the rest of the meal, we paid our toll and left, disheartened and still hungry. Sauces are $2 extra, but I'm not a fan of the secret sauce. Where is the good ol fashioned honey mustard when you need it! The kimchi fried rice was delicious. Way too much for two people. We could've fed four with 1 whole original and fried rice. Total bill without tip was just over $50. We went at opening because I heard about the wait. It wasn't crowded at noon. Good Sunday lunch. Chicken is pretty good. I think the boneless chicken can be a little overcooked sometimes, but it's still pretty tasty.

The chicken wasn't giving "korean fried chicken". It wasn't crispy like... at all and the chicken was really fatty. I got the special sauce and it wasn't that special. The rice was over cooked and mushy. The side of pickled radish and Cole slaw was the best thing I had. Oh and the dumplings were good too. our second entree arrived 20 minutes after the first and our sides, only for the chicken to be cold in the middle. we asked one server if we could exchange it for a fresh batch and were told no. we then waited 20 more minutes for anyone to approach us about the check, never even received refills on our drinks. once we paid we decided to ask a different server because we felt it unfair to pay for something we didn't even eat. the server went to the back and at this point the manager came out to speak to us. he explained that, according to the ticket time, all of our food came out at timely manner and that the chicken takes 25 minutes to cook. i said that i understood but while i once again mentioned the food was cold he rudely cut me off, simply offering a refund. i accepted the refund without any argument. when he came back with my new receipt he mentioned how i didn't add a tip on my card payment; while i tried telling him that i only tip in cash and was planning to do so, he once again rudely cut me off and said i was no longer welcome back. i've never had this sort of experience while dining and was actually extremely excited to try this new restaurant, only to leave extremely dissapointed. i've worked in the food industry for 10 years so i understand how stressful a busy night can be, but that's no excuse for the poor service we received. read more
