Don't let the name confuse you. You're not coming here for Barbeque Chicken but Best of the Best Quality Chicken. That is literally what the BB.Q stands for. They claim to be the "most popular fried chicken in Korea" and have been featured in many Mukbang (popular Korean eating broadcasts) shows. I'm not completely convinced it's the Best of the Best quality but it is still indeed really tasty. The restaurant is located in a small strip mall near Gwinnett Place Mall (Starcourt for Stranger Things fans). There's plenty of parking in the daytime during weekdays, but weekend evenings may be more of a challenge since it shares its parking lot with a couple late night spots. Upon entering the restaurant, you'll notice the open seating area. The restaurant looks like it can comfortably seat about 50 people at one time. There are private booths towards the back of the restaurant leading to the restrooms. The menu is pretty straightforward, it's the different sauces you have to choose from may stall you from ordering. Not because there's too many, but because they all seem somewhat similar, but no worries, the original Golden Olive Chicken without any sauce is delicious. We'll get to more of this in a bit. We had originally wanted to order the half and half Fried Whole Chicken, but at 6:30pm on a Sunday they had ran out of whole chickens! What?! How does an establishment that's primary focus is to serve chicken run out of chickens?! This actually turned out to be in our favor though, because the boneless chicken ended up being easier to consume without the annoyances of small bones. I would highly recommend the Golden Olive Chicken to anyone and everyone that's a fan of fried chicken. If you're not a fan then I don't know why you came here. The batter is perfectly seasoned and fried with the right amount of crunch in every bite. The inside meat is so tender and flavorful it'll make you question where this has been all your life. We also ordered the Secret Spicy chicken but we're almost convinced the chicken we got was the Hot Spicy chicken. Primarily because of how spicy it was and I'm no stranger to spice. It was still good though and I would recommend it with some precaution. Will have to return and try ordering this again to see if there's a noticeable difference. The honey garlic was also a favorite, the sauce and flavors were in perfect synergy without one overpowering the senses. This business has won me over in terms of quality food. This is my hands-down favorite place to go for Korean Fried Chicken. The funny thing is I never knew about this place until after COVID hit, so when I was searching for places for takeout, this place caught my eye. I've tried pretty much everything from their menu, but if I had to choose my goto items I would pick the Boneless Cheesling and Spicy Galbi. The flavors and breading are absolutely fantastic giving it that crunch that makes you want more. It definitely satisfies my craving for good fried chicken. Short story- 5 stars for food -1 stars for service I have been craving this chicken ever since they closed near the honey pig however many years ago (I think 9-10 years). Nothing came quite close to it! The plain fried whole chicken was extra flaky crispy and flavorful and you can taste the boldness of the olive oil in the chicken. This place is probably my favorite korean fried chicken place in the area. Its soooo good. We also got gangnam style wings that looked NOTHING like the picture it was pretty funny lol. It wasnt great but it wasnt bad. The fried whole chicken was much better. We also ordered a side of fried dumplings(7$) and cold slaw(4$). Dumplings were good but coldslaw was warm and watery. The sies are extra and do not come with the chickens Service was really bad lol. I know they dont mean to give terrible service but I went in at 3 pm and there wasnt many people. . And there were 2 ladies literally not paying attention to anything but cleaning the tables. They told me to ring the bell if I needed to order or if I need anything but even when i rang it 3-4 times nobody bothered because nobody was paying attention, just heads down cleaning tables. Their chicken is good in your lucky days!! But if you order in some days, might not be so lucky. My favorite is honey garlic. Always order original chicken for kids but I found that they also like sauce one. It is sad to hear some bad reviews from family and friends because we had a lot of good experience with their chicken personally. They do really good job keeping distance and how they do their to go orders!! Have no problem ordering from them. Plus, their dduk bok yi(rice cake) is good! I haved tried all dduk bok yi from all korean restaurants in Duluth but theirs is really good with cheese on top. FYI, i usually dont like cheese on dduk bok yi but theirs is better with cheese. This place has the best packaging for Togo orders a well ventilated sturdy cardboard box. The Secret Spicy chicken was underwhelming. It was mild at best. The crisp was kind of nonexistent but for a Togo order it's understandable. It wasnt the worst chicken but wasnt the best either. The portion was generous compared to some other places. It's been a minute since I've been here and I was craving some kfc (Korean fried chicken) on Sunday so I decided to check it out again. My fiancé and I split a medium order of the golden original chicken (fried; no sauce/seasoning) and the rose ddeok-bokki (rice cakes in spicy sauce). We absolutely loved the ddeok-bokki. The spice level was just right because the cream balanced out the spicy red chili sauce. There was also a decent amount of fish cakes too. As for the chicken, we were a bit disappointed. The chicken wasn't as juicy nor was the skin as crispy as we had hoped. It wasn't bad by any means, but nothing made it special, and I'd say there are places that cook their chicken better than here. Service wasn't great and they kept forgetting to give us things so we had to ask for basic things like small plates, utensils, and moo (pickled radish) on separate occasions. It may have just been that the servers that day were newer and less experienced, which is understandable. Had to rush a dinner order for my family one night and just ordered their recommendations and man the chicken did not disappoint. We order to original, soy garlic and gangnam flavors and they were all fantastic. Flavors were booming, chicken texture was munchy while the outer skins were respectively crunchy to their flavoring, and their sweet potato fries are bomb (to be fair I'm biased on the fries but even the grandma loved it so that's a plus!). The worst experience ever in the Duluth Area restaurants. I failed to make an order. I leave this review to let the owner know how his/her employees treat customers. 1. Today at noon (Nov 21, 2021), I was happy to find this Korean fried chicken franchise on the way home from grocery shopping.  2. When I entered the restaurant, the employees asked me to leave the restaurant and make an order by phone due to their policy. (I was wearing a N95 mask.) I understood and got out of the restaurant. But I found there was no instruction about their policy in the entrance or anywhere. It was not a pleasant experience but I still understood. 3. However, they didn't pick up the phone even though they were looking at me calling through the window.  4. When an employee came out to give a take-out order to another customer, I asked him why they didn't answer the phone. He simply said they will. I asked him about the best selling item on their menu. He hastily pointed out #1 item on the menu and quickly left. I felt that he was annoyed by me, and I really want to know why! 5. I gave up the fried chicken since I am not patient enough to go through this humiliation for just a fried chicken.  I will never come back to this place and tell everyone I know about what I experienced today. Easily my fav Korean fried chicken place. The chicken is always crispy and juicy. The interior is super nice and a great place to eat with friend, but I usually always do takeout. These are some recommendations I have. Galbi Chicken (Boneless) - The flavor is soo good. It has a sweet smokey flavor that taste amazing. I always order this flavor everytime. It is also crispy even with sauce. Original Golden - Despite having no sauce it, it still has so great flavor from the chicken alone. Also it's so crispy. Hot & Spicy - It's pretty spicy but it tastes so good. You can taste the flavors of the red pepper and unlike a lot of spicy food where it just pain, it has delicious chili flavors and some sweetness. I also recommend the rosé ddukbokki as well. Came to bbq today and initially we were greeted well and seated promptly. It took a few rings of the bell to get someone to come to us but once we did the food came out pretty quickly. Everything was delicious. And it was an overall good experience until it was time for us to leave. We asked for the check, paid our bill and we're promptly asked to leave because another table was waiting. Non of the members of my party appreciated that. We are paying customers who deserved to leave when we were finished. We were still drinking our sodas and eating what was left of our corn salad. Did not appreciate that at all.
