We come to this location consistently and they are always the same in quality of food and service. The food is always good here, I have not had one bad bowl of soup in the year I've been coming here. The side dishes are decent too. The service here is top notch, they keep my water topped off all the time and they keep our side dishes filled as well without asking. You can tell they train their staff well because we've seen 3 new people over the year and they all work exactly the same as the others. Plenty of parking, don't be fooled when the GPS tells you to turn left, go to the light if you're coming from the west. Otherwise you'll end up in the gas station. Medium spicy is good enough unless you like sounding like you're a recovering drug addict. My goodness. I took the ramen noodles out so I could make sure I had broth left. Ate very slowly because the picked radishes were so good and the kimchi cucumbers were also killer. The teokbokki was tasty, but nothing special. Price is good, sharing is fine. But in the future I love the combo idea because you get a small skillet of beef, onions, and peppers. Sweet and savory, paired with the ramen soondubu it's a LOT. We took the rice cakes home. I can't speak any higher about the cleanliness and service here. They all pitch in, and I wonder if they knew I was going to write something because I took so many pics. Came here while visiting from out of town on a recommendation from my cousin who orders takeout from here all the time. It didn't disappoint! The soondubu was hot, the right taste and the rice had that crispy bottom you expect. The scallion pancake was crispy and delicious. The LA Galbi was marinated well and tender. I've been here multiple times and am pleased to report I've left content and full every time! The food is consistently hearty and delicious. Firstly, they offer a variety of banchans and will refill them, which I really appreciate because their variety brings more life to whatever entree you order! I've gotten the beef bibimbap in the hot stone bowl, and the crunch rice left at the bottom is amazing to chew after soaking up the juices from the veggies and sauce. I've gotten their tripe noodles, which are so hearty on a cold day, the tofu and bouncy noodle soup warming your stomach then your body. The beef ribs too, though a more simple dish, are seasoned perfectly to enjoy the sweet-umami of the ribs with a hot stone bowl of rice and onions on the side. The service is exceptional; I've always feel welcomed and honestly felt like I was eating with a big family with the way the seating was. My go to order is the regular spicy beef soondubu and my girlfriend gets the sesame beef soondubu. This place is horrible and the service sucks. If you're not Korean, they won't serve you properly. We have a 6 top. We came in before a 2 top and a 6 top WHO ARE KOREANS-- well -- they served everyone else and they momma at them tables FIRST, but us ... we asked to order first, the server (elderly lady) came and took order from the other tables and us at the same time. Of course, guess who got their side dishes and other stuffs first? The other tables also. We waited for a good 15 minutes before we tried flagging down the servers and no one cares to acknowledge us and mind you it's not even dinner rush busy... they were literally IGNORING US. I've been to all So Gong Dong locations and this one is the best in terms of service, food, and cleanliness. It's extremely spacious and modern compared to the other two locations. The servers are so quick and friendly. They will check up on you multiple times, refills your drinks, and refill your side dishes. I felt that the other two locations were not as good with the refills and stopped by if you flagged them down. The food also tastes much better here, I don't know if it's a placebo effect from the service and bright interior but I will take it. read more

From the side dishes tasting fresh - kimchi mixed with another sauce I couldn't place my finger on, cucumber salad, bean sprouts, and radish! We ordered two mackerel combination dinners with Sundubu-jjigae and the Sundubu-jjigae was very hot and fresh. We got a plain and a beef one. You could also change the spice levels. I've been to countless tofu soup places and this by far surpassed them all. The mackerel was huge, crispy, soft, and juicy! It barely had any bones in it too. They also serve you barely tea which is nice! Their pan fried dumpling surpassed my own boyfriends- fresh, crispy and puffy? Definitely tastes homemade with a lot of filling inside. We got two orders of this because of how much we loved this dish! The service was also amazing, our server was very cute in her mannerisms and way of speaking, helpful and kind. They make sure to greet you and say goodbye when you leave. Everyone who came into contact with us (server serving the side dishes, server handing out our dishes, etc) was nice.
