My husband and I went to the Duluth location last week for the first time. I really loved the screen on the wall playing music videos! I didn't understand the music, but I liked it anyway lol. It was pretty loud at first -- I couldn't even hear my husband sitting right next to me but we asked the server if they could turn it down just a little, and they actually did, which we really appreciated. Our server was cool and friendly, and the food was good. The bulgogi was my favorite, so good! The restaurant appeared clean, but my only issue was that the floor was very slippery. I'm not sure if they had just mopped or if it was greasy, but I almost fell.

Overall super great!!! Cheaper than most bbq spots but this one still hits really good. Let me tell you what you can get for $32 in dinner time. The ambiance feels like a night club, loud music and spacious. The service was great! Our server went above and beyond The food was super tasty and worth every penny!!! Will absolutely be back!!

Been to Iron Age in VA and had a great experience, so while visiting GA, my friend & I had to check out the Iron Age in Duluth. Compared to other Korean Bbq locations, Iron Age keeps dining very simplistic. Starting from the menu choices, where there are two options which is a la carte or all you can eat. My friend and I both got the all you can eat option for around $30 per adult. The meats we tried were the brisket and unseasoned steak. We cooked the brisket to make it slightly crispy and dipping it into the sauces provided, it was really good. The unseasoned steak was cooked medium rare, but it had too much fat and chewy for me to enjoy. We ordered the brisket few times and called it a day. I feel like they short changed us on the egg portion. Small portions in a small aluminum bowl to cook over the fire, my friend wasn't too thrilled. The kimchi here wasn't bad, was more of the fresh kind than the fermented. Our waiter was really cool & friendly. He not only cooked our meat to our liking but also recommended other good Korean bbq places in the area. They have a Photo Booth in the front with amazing lighting. Scan the QR code and the picture will be send to your phone. We ended up getting some amazing pictures that night. Solid 3.5 of 5 stars.

First time here and in years today and I remembered why I stopped coming. The meat was so low quality. Very small selection of meats. They barely had any sides. They only had rice, rice cakes, salad and steamed eggs. The steak was full of tendons. They had broken cups that leaked all over my pants. We aren't Asian and none of the Asian staff would talk to us. I said "thank you" so one of the staff to be polite, she looked at me and walked away. My brother said "have a good day" to another one and she just stared at us without saying anything. The walls were dirty af. On top of it, I saw a review from yesterday where a lady had a roach on her sauce. No thanks. Pls just close down.

I asked for original bulgogi came out hawaian bulgogi

The freshness of the meat wasn't good. The service is good enough considering we didn't get the right order. Also the side dishes, they are so limited with it. Only 3 beef dishes for lunch. The ambience nice. But I don't feel like at all you can eat restaurant because of not so many food

We were happily surprised at the excellence of this KBBQ spot in the Korean hub of Duluth. Our server Matt was attentive and offered great suggestions. The bulgogi was SUPREME! The marinated sauce on both the regular and Hawaiian was sweet and savory. The side options were plenty, such as rice, steamed egg, and kimchi. The spot itself is very modern and darkly lit with music videos all around which would make this a great spot for evenings and weekends. For $22 at lunch we will definitely be returning if we're back in the area.

My first Korean BBQ experience. Everything was very fresh, they kept the accompaniments coming, and the he meat was spectacular! Can't wait to return next time I am in town.

Terrible experience from the start. The hostess, who neither greeted nor seated us, was apathetic and rude. It took 10 minutes to get a table in an empty restaurant. When we were finally seated, it was at a table all the way in the back, damn near in the kitchen. I had to firmly request a different table. The cooktops didn't heat properly and took forever to cook the food. Although one decent waiter showed up halfway through, by then it was too late to salvage the experience. The tteokbokki and pork belly were tasty, but the drinks were awful, and the service was so bad that I won't be returning.

A fun place to celebrate an occasion. Beyond that, it's rather underwhelming in flavor and in options for the price of a KBBQ.

Does anyone know what the mayo looking dipping sauce is? They give you 4 dipping sauces to start out with. A spicy one, a salty one, a sweet one, but I can't figure out what the yellow/ mayo looking sauce is.

It's similar to the sauce you often get at Japanese hibachi restaurants - sometimes called Yum Yum sauce or a variation. It is pretty good on chicken and vegetables. It is a mayo based sauce with tomato paste, sugar, rice wine vinegar, butter,… Read more

This is the first time we want to try korean bbq, how many knd of meat can we choose per all you can eat order? Can we choose each kind?

There is only about enough room on the grill for two at a time. So they typically want you to order only two at a time, but you can order as many times as you like.

How and What kind of soups does this restaurant offer; and is that included in the $23 price for dinner if that is all that you order?

Anybody knows another Korean bbq that charges 23 per person like Iron Age?

My partner and I came in around roughly 9:50-10pm. When we arrived we're were initially informed that we had to order soon because they were closing in 30 minutes and were understandings of that. Shortly after we were seated, (literally 1-2 minutes) about 3 employees came to our table letting us know we needed to order within the next few minutes. It was like 10:05. I tried asking one of the employee what the meat options were and was just interrupted by him being persistent in us ordering and did not really answer our questions, mainly because I noticed some of the meat options were pork and I do not consume pork for personal reasons. My partner and I felt overwhelmed and just ordered something we thought would not include pork. After submitting our order another employee came by with the check already without us asking insisting for us to pay before our food even came out. Mind you the restaurant closed within 20 minutes at this point. When our food did come out, it did contain PORK!!! We just left shortly afterwards and left the food on the table.

I was absolutely obsessed with the smell of this restaurant before I even went in! I appreciated them, giving us two grills, and the staff actually cook the meat for you. I wish I was sitting more towards the left grill because whoever cooked the pork belly on that side made sure the flame was hot enough and it cooked the pork thoroughly while also making it crispy on the outside. In front of me, the griller did not make the heat high enough so it took a while for the pork to be fully cooked. She told us it was done and it was still kind of chewy so I kept swapping back-and-forth from the left grill onto this one. That's the only reason why I gave it a four instead of a five out of five was because I did not like the way they cooked part of our pork. It was so chewy the fat was not cooked at all, but it was an easy fix. I just had to cook it longer on the other grill but again we shared two grills between eight people so 1/2 of our group got to eat more than us. I like how the pork doesn't have a really strong, pork smell, and it tasted very good like it was seasoned properly. I absolutely love the kimchi! I love how this restaurant stays open pretty late so we can enjoy eating and drinking. It's such a nice casual place to hang out. For dessert, we had kimchi fried rice haha. It was such a great night!

This time, I brought my friend who has never had Korean bbq before for her to try. We went right when it opened so it was quiet. I told the server it was her first time and he was eager to explain everything to her. I don't think she was prepared at all what was about to grace our table He brought out a cart full of side dishes and start to explain what each one is along with the flavor profile. When he got to the scallion salad, she was just not loving it, but he told her to at least try and see what she thinks (don't knock it til you try it!) Then he said they're still getting the charcoal ready so it'll be a few more minutes and my friend's eyes just (like what?) So we start with trying a bite of all the sides. She enjoyed everything except the sliced onion salad. Surprisingly, she loved everything else, including the scallion salad! She's a texture eater, so I was weary of her trying the tofu, but she really enjoyed that too! So... the charcoal comes out, and she's just Then the server brings the grill with the cheesy corn, spicy bean sprout, and he poured in the eggs. Followed by the meats! Since she didn't really know what she likes, I made a few suggestions and the server suggests letting him bring us the most popular items first and we can work our way through the menu. What a great idea!! Started with brisket and ribeye and wow ... meats were fresh, paired with the sides, and the dipping sauces, it's just chef's kiss!! We then had bulgogi and pork belly and those were just bursting with flavor! The cheesy corn was good but burned too fast on the grill, the spicy bean sprouts are amazing, and the steam egg is my favorite . The only downside is that if you don't eat those sides that are cooking on the grill right away they'll turn dry and burned and it won't be as good. The cheesy corn also caused some splattering to our hands when we were cooking the meats. The server apologized for the oil splattering since he heard the squeal immediately soak up the oil from the cheesy corn so the splattering would stop. Overall, my friend gave it 10/10!!!
