Overall super great!!! Cheaper than most bbq spots but this one still hits really good. Let me tell you what you can get for $32 in dinner time. The ambiance feels like a night club, loud music and spacious. The service was great! Our server went above and beyond The food was super tasty and worth every penny!!! Will absolutely be back!!

Been to Iron Age in VA and had a great experience, so while visiting GA, my friend & I had to check out the Iron Age in Duluth. Compared to other Korean Bbq locations, Iron Age keeps dining very simplistic. Starting from the menu choices, where there are two options which is a la carte or all you can eat. My friend and I both got the all you can eat option for around $30 per adult. The meats we tried were the brisket and unseasoned steak. We cooked the brisket to make it slightly crispy and dipping it into the sauces provided, it was really good. The unseasoned steak was cooked medium rare, but it had too much fat and chewy for me to enjoy. We ordered the brisket few times and called it a day. I feel like they short changed us on the egg portion. Small portions in a small aluminum bowl to cook over the fire, my friend wasn't too thrilled. The kimchi here wasn't bad, was more of the fresh kind than the fermented. Our waiter was really cool & friendly. He not only cooked our meat to our liking but also recommended other good Korean bbq places in the area. They have a Photo Booth in the front with amazing lighting. Scan the QR code and the picture will be send to your phone. We ended up getting some amazing pictures that night. Solid 3.5 of 5 stars.

Good food very good service Joshua took care of us and 32 all you can eat, lemon chicken and soy steak are awesome.

First time here and in years today and I remembered why I stopped coming. The meat was so low quality. Very small selection of meats. They barely had any sides. They only had rice, rice cakes, salad and steamed eggs. The steak was full of tendons. They had broken cups that leaked all over my pants. We aren't Asian and none of the Asian staff would talk to us. I said "thank you" so one of the staff to be polite, she looked at me and walked away. My brother said "have a good day" to another one and she just stared at us without saying anything. The walls were dirty af. On top of it, I saw a review from yesterday where a lady had a roach on her sauce. No thanks. Pls just close down.

I asked for original bulgogi came out hawaian bulgogi

The freshness of the meat wasn't good. The service is good enough considering we didn't get the right order. Also the side dishes, they are so limited with it. Only 3 beef dishes for lunch. The ambience nice. But I don't feel like at all you can eat restaurant because of not so many food

We were happily surprised at the excellence of this KBBQ spot in the Korean hub of Duluth. Our server Matt was attentive and offered great suggestions. The bulgogi was SUPREME! The marinated sauce on both the regular and Hawaiian was sweet and savory. The side options were plenty, such as rice, steamed egg, and kimchi. The spot itself is very modern and darkly lit with music videos all around which would make this a great spot for evenings and weekends. For $22 at lunch we will definitely be returning if we're back in the area.

My first Korean BBQ experience. Everything was very fresh, they kept the accompaniments coming, and the he meat was spectacular! Can't wait to return next time I am in town.

Came here as a party of 2 on a Friday night and was seated promptly. Standard Korean bbq fare with all of the fixings. Our waitress was attentive and our food was fresh. Cool place to come with a group as they have booth style seating, music playing and music videos on the tvs throughout. We didn't eat much but the food was plentiful.

A fun place to celebrate an occasion. Beyond that, it's rather underwhelming in flavor and in options for the price of a KBBQ.

Ask the Community - Iron Age Korean Steak House

Does anyone know what the mayo looking dipping sauce is? They give you 4 dipping sauces to start out with. A spicy one, a salty one, a sweet one, but I can't figure out what the yellow/ mayo looking sauce is.

It's similar to the sauce you often get at Japanese hibachi restaurants - sometimes called Yum Yum sauce or a variation. It is pretty good on chicken and vegetables. It is a mayo based sauce with tomato paste, sugar, rice wine vinegar, butter,…

What are the 4 dipping sauces at ironage And what's in it?

In no particular order bc I am not sure of the original names, the flavor profiles are these. *…

    All you can eat?

Yes, but they updated their prices!

Is there an updated lunch menu with prices for 2022? I only see menus from 2 years ago listed.

the prices have increased by a minimum of 50% and they've limited the menu options

Is there a kids menu like at Thrill?

    No.

Does anyone know the name of the sauces?

Sesame Oil w/salt & pepper, sweet oil, chili sauce, yum yum sauce

Hey everyone I want a sauce thats on the menu at Iron Age is gas salt and pepper in it? Do any one know?

    Sesame Oil

Where can I get the dipping sauces so I can buy to use at home during this quarantine?

Try Hmart, they have a vast variety there.

How do we make reservations? Do we have to call or can we do it online?

you have to physically be there. make sure you get there early or send someone to WAIT but also take in mind if the whole party isnt there depending how busy they usually will skip your turn.

I want to take my boyfriend here for his birthday with his family. Family of 11..! How much would it be per person? Anybody know??!

    $25 per person

Has anyone gotten good service from some employee here named Dennis?

    It varies honestly.

Does anyone know exactly what the sweet dipping sauce is? I keep getting different answers of what it might be.

    Galbi Sauce

How manny people can you have in a party/group?

    8+ People for a reservation.

This is the first time we want to try korean bbq, how many knd of meat can we choose per all you can eat order? Can we choose each kind?

There is only about enough room on the grill for two at a time. So they typically want you to order only two at a time, but you can order as many times as you like.

How and What kind of soups does this restaurant offer; and is that included in the $23 price for dinner if that is all that you order?

The last time I was there in December. The price includes a type of beef soup. Nothing exciting. Yeah I don't think they have a separate price for just the soup. If you only want soup maybe try a different place while your party gets bbq at places…

I noticed that there have been some changes to the menu. Could someone tell me the changes(including price for lunch)? I'm choosing between Breakers and Iron Age

The last time I was there they didn't have my two favorite things, which are pork belly and brisket. I like the brisket so much I typically started and ended the meal with a round of brisket. My visit was about a month ago and I haven't been back…

Does any other kbbq have the mashed potato banchan that Iron Age used to have?

Do you mean the potatoes salad? If that what you're looking for then yes!!!! It's at breakers k bbq!!! Sometimes they bring it out but sometimes you have to ask for it. They also have the rice paper! It's across the street from Iron Age. It's…

Anybody knows another Korean bbq that charges 23 per person like Iron Age?

JM BBQ in the same plaza as Sweet Hut on Pleasant Hill. Breakers Monday to Thursday is $26.

Are there any restaurants that are like Iron Age used to be before they changed their menu? That is, they have thin-sliced brisket, pork belly, rice paper wrappers, and kimchi cooked on the grill?

9292 (down the street from iron age) is similar to how iron age used to be... I go there now instead of iron age.

We came with a party of six to celebrate my Mimi's birthday, and everything from the food to the service was amazing. The atmosphere is elegant, warm, and upscale without ever feeling stuffy. It has that classic steakhouse feel that makes it perfect for a birthday dinner, date night, or any special occasion. We started with the oysters and calamari, and both were fantastic. I ordered the Center Cut Filet Oscar style, and it was cooked perfectly. For the table, we shared the onion rings, corn, and garlic mashed potatoes. The garlic mashed potatoes are easily my favorite side here. I'm obsessed and could probably eat an entire family size serving by myself. I also tried some of my dad's lobster bisque, which was so good that it has officially made my list of things I need to order for myself next time. My sister ordered the Dover sole, and after trying some of hers for the first time, I'm now debating getting that on my next visit too. Everything was delicious, and the portions at Frankie's are always incredibly generous. You definitely won't leave hungry! My espresso martinis were also amazing. I'm pretty particular about how I like them, and they made them exactly how I wanted, which I really appreciated. Since we were celebrating a birthday, they brought out their famously gigantic slice of cake for the table. There was more than enough for all six of us to share, and I even took some home for my fiancé. They also sent us home with their complimentary muffins for breakfast the next morning, which is such a fun touch and something I always look forward to because they are delicious. We had two servers taking care of our table, and both were incredibly attentive, professional, and welcoming. They truly made us feel like family and made my Mimi's birthday dinner feel special. Frankie's continues to be one of those places we can count on for incredible food, amazing cocktails, generous portions, beautiful ambiance, and top tier service. There's a reason it remains one of my favorites, and we'll happily keep coming back!

The table was decorated with little hearts and a card to wish us a happy anniversary. Our servers were a team made up of Deija, Celia and Jackson. They were all very attentive and friendly. Deija was exceptional. She was very knowledgeable of the menu and when we had any questions she was able to answer them without missing a beat. They brought out their warm rolls with a side of butter. Those were very good. We started off with an appetizer of their fritto misto. This dish was fried lightly and very delicious. I wanted a caesar salad and my husband mentioned sampling some of my salad. Deija overheard this and split the caesar salad which I thought was very thoughtful and nice. I couldn't have imagined eating it in addition to the bread, appetizer, entree and side that was ordered. So I really appreciated it being split. For our entrees I ordered the double cut filet mignon with shareable mashed potatoes and my husband ordered the bone in ribeye with the corn soufflé. My picture of the ribeye came out blurry so it is not pictured, sadly. We really enjoyed our steaks, they were phenomenal. The char, temperature and the way they were cooked were very delicious and to our liking. After we finished up our entrees we were going to ask for their dessert menu. Celia brought out a cheesecake with strawberries with a plate decorated in chocolate that said Happy Anniversary. We were pleasantly surprised and thankful for the dish. Deija mentioned that she hoped it was a good choice based on some food items I mentioned to her I could and could not have. We were excited and happy with the surprise dessert, it was delightful. We really enjoyed our experience at this restaurant as well as the food. The entire occasion was heavenly. We will definitely be back in the future.

We arrived 15 minutes before our reservation, but were told our table was already ready, so we were seated. (The restaurant tables are very close together, so be aware that if anyone in your party is wheelchair bound, it may be difficult for them to maneuver around.) The restaurant is kept very warm inside, and I'm usually someone who feels cold easily, but even I was rather hot. A woman brought water glasses and a water carafe to our table and said, "If you want something besides water, just let me know," and then walked off. So, in my mind, that woman was a food assistant or a food runner. Turned out, she was our waitress! She later stopped by, didn't introduce herself and didn't ask if we'd ever been there before, but did ask if we wanted an appetizer. We ordered Potato Pancakes. She also asked if we wanted bread service, so we said yes. We did notice from other conversations at the very close tables near ours, that many of the customers are regulars and have their favorite waitstaff. The manager had stopped by a table to regrettably inform a couple that their favorite waiter was out for 2 weeks. So, that did give us hope that if they have regulars, it must be good. The Potato Pancakes were delicious! (I didn't even stop to snap a picture because we were very hungry!) My husband ordered the "Bier" + Cheese Burger ($16.95), and I ordered the Pork Shank "Schwweinehaxe" ($34). The waitress said she had to check the availability of the Pork Shank, so I told her that if it wasn't available, to put in Chicken Wienerschnitzel. Then she didn't come back to let us know what the kitchen said. My husband flagged her down to find out if the pork shank was available, and she said she'd forgotten to come back, but that it was. He also told her that it was my birthday, so she brought out a cute birthday tea light for the table. The food was absolutely delicious, and for the price point, you can easily see why people are regulars there! The pork shank was enormous! (We ate off of it 2 more times after we took it home. The restaurant gave us extra gravy at no charge, too.) The rosemary mashed potatoes were very good! The presentation was lovely! My husband really enjoyed his burger. Then for dessert, our waitress brought out a slice of tiramisu with a wedge of chocolate cake over it, berries, whipped cream, and a little birthday candle in it. Turned out really wonderful! Will definitely go back to this unique spot!

I also got a side of spatzle because I really enjoy it and it did not disappoint. To end the evening, we got the bananas foster, which came with a table side show to make the dish right in front of you. It was a very nice finish to an incredible meal. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a nicer dinner and to try German cuisine, which is not very common in the Atlanta area.

Parking was a challenge due to Valentine's Day and the sheer number of people dining out. That said, parking is often tight in Duluth because of the many restaurants, so it's wise to allow extra time. My wife and I were promptly greeted and seated upon arrival, and our server quickly came over to take our drink orders. I have to mention our server, Maddie, who was one of the most pleasant and personable people we've encountered in a long time while dining out. She was a textbook example of what makes for a great dining experience. At that point, I learned the restaurant was offering a prix fixe Valentine's Day menu, which hadn't been communicated beforehand. While not unusual for the holiday, it did catch me by surprise. Maddie handled the situation professionally when I asked to speak with a manager, and Leon came over quickly. After I explained, they were able to accommodate us by offering the items à la carte, which worked out well since we chose to skip one course and dessert. As for the food -- it was outstanding. My wife had the beet salad and said it was the best she's ever had. I ordered the wedge salad, which was very good. She chose the shrimp appetizer, while I had the stuffed mushrooms; both were excellent. We each ordered the 6-oz filet, cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The mashed potatoes and green beans complemented the steak nicely, and I especially enjoyed the house-made steak sauce, which paired very well with the filet. I also had the opportunity to speak with executive chef and owner George Yu, who was engaging and shared that they cook exclusively over open flames using well seasoned cherry and oak wood from a single supplier. I was even able to thank the chef who prepared our steaks in the wood-fired kitchen. Overall, it was a fantastic Valentine's Day dinner at Noona Steak and Seafood in Duluth, GA.

But ,it was worth it. When we arrived, the parking lot was also packed so when we entered, we had a small wait. But soon, we were seated and we were given EXCELLENT service and given much attention. I had their meatloaf and mushrooms with a side of salad and mashed potatoes and my friend had their filet, also with a side of salad and mashed potatoes. Be sure to see the picture of the bread they bring out to you. It's the size of doughnut holes and SO gooey. I loved it so much that I asked for more to take home with me. If you will look at the picture I included of the bill (before tip) you can decide if it is worth the price but between the ambience of the restaurant, the flavor of the food and the attentive service, I felt that it was very much worth what we paid. Yum, yum.

While the food is really good, and the service is friendly (if a little clumsy), there are altogether too many mix-ups happening between front of house and kitchen, steaks not cooked to order, and too long a wait between wrong food brought, and right food brought to replace it. It's definitely a place in need of better staff training. Hopefully they'll be able to up their game and let the service live up to the level of food.

I was really looking forward to trying the oysters, but I didn't realize their menu changes often so unfortunately, no oysters this time. A little sad about that! We decided to order pretty much everything off the à la carte menu. Overall, the food was just okay to me. The Brussels sprouts were the hardest to eat they were basically raw, just thinly sliced with sauce poured over. It would've been much better if they were at least steamed or grilled a bit. The mushrooms, though, were absolutely BOMB! If I didn't know what it was, I would've thought it was some sort of meat dish super soft, flavorful, and delicious. Definitely the highlight of the meal. The Wagyu, on the other hand, was a big disappointment. For the price, it was tough and chewy when it should've been buttery and melt-in-your-mouth tender. Overall, the place is cute and the vibes are nice, but the food was overpriced for what it was. I'd only come back for those mushrooms they were that good.

I placed an order for everything on the carte menu. Food was fun and a few of the dishes caught me off guard, in a good way. Pros. We loveeed the maitake mushrooms. This dish was one dish my friend and I had low expectations for. Ironically it's the only dish we would go back for! The bucatini I also had low expectations for. I hardly order pasta, from non pasta specialty places, because the pasta is 99% of the time going to be overcooked. BUT this bucatini was cooked perfectly al dente. The sauce was rich but not too heavy and just enough to cover the noodles without drowning. The crab taste was pretty faint. If it weren't listed on the menu I wouldn't even think it were in the dish. Cons. The brussel sprout salad was honestly almost inedible. It is a raw shaved brussel sprout salad, dressed as a Caesar salad. Although not bad tasting, the core of the sprouts was not tender but dry and hard. There was also a lot of it. Most disappointing was the "waygu ribeye". The quality was pretty horrible. The piece we got had silver skin as well as chunks of fat. I wish I got a picture of the leftover fat from the steak but if you look at my picture you can clearly see slices of just fat. I love a little fat on a well cooked ribeye and do not mind paying for it. But paying $50 for a probably 8oz "waygu" ribeye with only half of it palatable is wild. Regardless, I'm actually going back in a couple of days with my husband because of those amazing mushrooms.. though as I am writing this review I'm debating on canceling my reservation, ordering the mushrooms to go, and just going elsewhere. lol
