Have ordered from here several times now. They have a bunch of really great flavors but my absolute all time fave is the original spicy wings. They are crispy, brined and spiced just right. Definitely have a kick to them. I've shared it with a number of friends and family who are also fans. Service has been quick for pick up and they haven't messed up any of my orders. The first time if you check in on Yelp you can get free fries with your order. Make sure you drink plenty of water though coz they're salty and being dehydrated isn't fun. I've also tried a few of their sauces - the Gangnam style and mala hot, which weren't bad but I still love the original spicy wings. Tad bit expensive but good quality. I come here at least once a week because it's minutes away from me and I love Korean style chicken wings! I will say that the service isn't great. Even with a cute little robot to help serve, the service is slow and I have noticed the quality of the wings slowly worsen. I still love bb.q but I've noticed quality and service differences from this lone tree location vs the Aurora location. My fave flavors are soy garlic, honey garlic, spicy original, Mala hot! I've been coming to this place for some time because the wings are fantastic and good sized. I came in here this evening and the wings are half the size they used to be and the price hasn't changed. I already thought it was a little in the pricey side but the size and flavor made it worth while. As much as I have recommended this place and as much as I have enjoyed dining here, tonight is my last time. Hopefully they go back to the size they used to be. Definitely not worth the getting wings at the same price point when I know they were twice the size. They're seriously the smallest wings I've ever been served at a wing place. Their food might be great. But we placed an order through Door Dash and two drivers left because they were waiting forever for food. I tried calling, but they wouldn't pick up the phone. It's been almost an hour now for a place less than half a mile away. Do everyone a favor. Don't go here. Don't order from here. Let them go out of business so there's a chance a competent one can occupy the space. Then someone else took our order. I mean, wow. Unbelievably incompetent. Turns out, it was the Dasher who took our order. Then cancelled the delivery. I'm at a loss for words. I've been to this bbq chicken a few times and my favorites are honey garlic and soy garlic. The chicken is really fresh this time around! The only down side is that the original chicken had a really bad taste (like old oil). We told the waiters and they exchanged it for a new batch which tasted more fresh but still had the old oil taste. We really appreciated their attitude about it even though the taste was still bad. Unfortunately we were dissapointed with the food quality and cleanliness of the restaurant. Both my husband and son asked if we were eating chicken as the boneless wings did not taste right. They also sat us near a "play area" which is basically a turf area with old French fries and trash in it. The staff was nice, but sat at the bar on their phones drinking soda. We order from bb.q literally every week, same thing, garlic boneless wings, large order, and this time we got potstickers as well, everything was so over cooked it was awful. The potstickers were hard to even cut open they were so over fried, and the boneless wings were so dry from being over-fried it was a huge waste of money. I feel like the food here is very unpredictable, last week it was some of the best we'd ever had, this week, we had to force ourselves to eat it as it's definitely not cheap. I would've given 5+ stars as each time I ordered there, they are prompt, provides courtesy calls when food is ready, etc. Don't get me wrong, they taste awesome. And they pay attention to special instructions and such. Reason I'm dropping few stars today is that the rice I ordered along with chicken... it was not the quality rice I usually get. Ok wasn't sure if I'd even like this place . We went for my nephews birthday. He loves this little place . It's small but we had a bigger table so we were sat in a cove which was perfect. We ordered so much off the menu ramen ( thumbs up) 4-5 types of chicken oh that chicken was crunchy ! Flavors BOLD. Size of portions good. You can't go wrong all of the entrees are good . Appetizers interesting but good . Great place to go and share dishes. Our drinks were never empty . They are so polite there , so kind. Very pricing and the food was underwhelming. I had the galbi chicken and it seems to have lacked something in flavor. It was sweet in flavor which isn't bad but it really missed some sort of kick that makes you want to take another bite. The rice as well as quite plain. Growing up Peruvian I've eaten a lot of white rice and this was comparable to Panda Express. I tried to season the Chicken a little more but since I'm at work there was sadly not too many options. I didn't even know this place was here until i drove past it on the way to work. It was the most delicious chicken i have ever had. The wings were so crispy yet very tender. I would have given 4-stars for overall flavor, because it was tasty & crispy, however they didn't even try to fix any of the other issues. We were the ONLY people in the restaurant. It did take longer than expected to be served, as I was very clearly ordering off the lunch menu, they asked if I wanted boneless or bone-in. We said bone-in though it really didn't matter to us. The lunch comes with 9 pieces, a drink & radish for $14.95..... However, when I went to pay I noticed it was $17.95 plus $3.50 per drink. Asking why, they said it's bc I ordered bone-in ‍. First, who gives a damn of its boneless or bone in... should be the same price. Second, the server never mentioned there was a difference as he gave us a choice of bone-in or boneless. Next, there was no napkins or wet wipes served with the very messy sticky meal. After asking they dropped off a couple napkins, that we had to dip in our water to clean our hands. And when I ordered dumplings I asked if they would combine the 2 sauce choices together as it creates a better taste balance, but wouldn't do as asked, only offered to bring out a full order of both at an extra cost . So I said "if you can't do something as simple as combining the two into one serving I don't want the dumplings." The manager was aware of all this, all he did was offer a 10% discount the next time we come back . If he was smart, he would have apologized & charged us the lunch price saying that they will do better about informing their customers about this silly rule. Needless to say, I will NOT be back. This place is awesome. I don't know what magic ingredient they use but this is not like any other fried chicken I've had. Imagine your best chicken wing but with a crispy outside and a moist (not greasy) inside. Tender, delicious and almost too many sauces to choose from. The staff is always nice and can help you choose if it's your first time. A little pricy but that is the world of wings. Order a 9 piece and you will not walk away hungry! Well, this is a chain restaurant it is still the best Korean fried chicken out there. For whatever reason I think the lone tree location is a little bit better than the downtown location. They have robots that serve you, so how can you beat that?. Pro tip:call 30 minutes in advance for takeout, and use the air fryer to reheat and it's almost as good as it is in the restaurant. read more
