So I'm a huge fan of Korean fried chicken. There's a reason for this: the food tastes the same after sitting in the fridge for a day.the skin is crunchy and the meat is moist and it stays that way. My wife is Korean and we used to get fried chicken from a ktown place in LA. we know good Korean fried chicken. This place meets that incredibly high bar. Some flavors I'm not a fan of, but you can't go wrong with the wings or boneless (which is an actual chunk of breast meat and thigh). Spicy flavors are Korean spicy so they have a kick to them. And ddoekboki is great if you want something chewy. It does take some time to get your order though, so don't expect to get your food immediately. Such is the price of double frying the chicken. It takes about 20-30 minutes depending on how busy they are, but the staff is great and the location is almost never packed full. It is also more expensive than your average chicken place. But the chicken is just plain better. This is my go to chicken place and I recommend it to anyone looking for a fried chicken fix. read more

First time visiting this establishment, greeted by a friendly gentleman who seated us immediately, atmosphere was very pleasant, not too many people, nice tv's on for plenty to watch. The same gentleman who greeted us came over and took our drink order and then gave us time to look over the interesting menu. Before we knew it our drinks came over via a robot and that was actually very cool, my husband took the drinks off before we could get a video of them on there, but very cool! We decided on the hot spicy wings and the spicy galbi boneless wings, we also got free fries via the yelp app, (thank you yelp!) the wings were absolutely delicious, nice heat but not over the top and the galbi boneless wings had a bit of heat but the smoky flavor was very nice! My hubby who doesn't really like boneless wings loved the taste !! The prices are a bit high but definitely worth the money! We will definitely be back to try out more! My son raved about your wings and I was looking forward to trying them. I was happy to see the half chicken option and ordered the Golden Original because I can't tolerate any kind of spicy food. My son had ordered the Golden Original Wings before and assured me that it would not be spicy. I took one bite and couldn't eat it at all. My son had a piece as well and told me that it tasted like the Spicy Original. I spoke to both men working there and they said that this is how it is supposed to be and didn't offer to correct my order and totally ignored us. This was absolutely the worst service I have ever experienced. Unfortunately, the only things I could eat were fries, onion rings and coleslaw which was not a satisfying dinner at all. This was my first time at the Lone Tree bb.q and chicken was high-quality and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. Went with my extended family to celebrate my cousin's daughter's 2nd birthday, and it was the perfect venue to host a kid's birthday party and enjoy a wide variety of chicken and other entrees. Used to be a big fan but the service ruined it sadly. Prepare for wrong orders with no attempt to give the correct order, staff reading and scrolling phones while customers wait for help, arguing with the customer when help decides they've scrolled enough Reddit for the day. If you're taking out could be an okay option, but there are a lot of chicken places in Lone Tree and Denver, go somewhere that respects your business. For full transparency I'll post the feedback below as well: Long time returning customer of this location, I've recommended this place to multiple people (I put it on my jobs list of recommended restaurants) and have even brought friends in person, in the past. I'd speak so highly of bb.q chicken that when my disabled parents from South Florida came to visit and said they wanted fried chicken, I recommended bb.q chicken, biggest mistake I've made in a while, learned my lesson at the least. My mom is extremely sensitive to spicy food, but i assured her not to worry, as I had previously had the golden original and it is not spicy and will perfectly suit her request for a fried chicken. We arrive as a family, we're the only customers in the place at that moment, the thought of why it's so empty struck me as odd, the food is so tasty, it was so much busier last time... and it's a holiday weekend, everything is seeing increased business, shouldn't that be the case here too? Well I soon learned why this was the case, as we were seated and put our orders in. My mom orders the half size of the golden original chicken, I've had the wing version many times and assure her she is will love it. The golden chicken is the first entree to arrive, my mother, being the the generous individual that she is immediately gives me the first piece and I go to eat some and immediately notice something off. The golden original chicken I was eating, was spicy, as spicy as the spicy original, which I have also ordered many times. I don't say anything yet because maybe a piece got mixed up and the rest are golden original, as ordered. The rest of the food comes and she begins to eat her meal, she immediately stops eating after the first bite and is overcome with spice. At this point, we assume "okay no big deal, they did spicy by accident, let's let them know". This is when they double and triple down that they definitely made the golden original, my mother being all too forgiving, says it's okay and orders a side order of onion rings for her entire meal. The rest of the night the two workers there were seen constantly behind the bar reading books and browsing phones, oblivious to the patrons of the restaurant, with the only way of receiving help being to go up to the front... mind you they're disabled, only to receive no help and a refusal when asked if we could have the originally ordered golden original chicken. I've personally sworn off from ever visiting the restaurant again, it's one thing to mess up my food, but to completely ruin someone's dinner after I recommended it so highly to them, it is forever tarnished in my eyes. Hopefully this feedback can help and I hope you can use it improve the service, allowing you to retain customers other than myself. read more

Loved the food here. You get the tender korean bbq meat with the perfect crisp to the fried chicken. Taste was exceptional a lot of new and interesting flavors. Staff was very friendly and service was attentive. Only complaint was that it is a bit pricey compared to other K-chicken spots around town, but we also weren't in the mood for a drive to go any further. They also charge for things like a side of sauce, which is just a little "salt in the wound" considering the starting price point is already higher than the competition. They also will not allow you to choose more than one sauce for the large order of wings, so you are forced to order multiple medium sizes if you want any variety, and the price for two medium orders doesnt equal one large order :( Overall a good spot, the food is very good which is what matters to us in the long run. read more

I was so excited about this place. As a Korean who lived in Korea, I love Korean fried chicken. I couldn't wait to try here since the closest other OK option was in Aurora... We ordered here 2x. The first time, I was sad when my chicken was soggy. My husband's was OK. I chalked mine up to over-saucing. The mozz sticks had hardened back into string cheese, but we fixed that with the air frier... fine. Not great, but still had hope.
