Visited BB.Q Chicken last week during the soft opening and was truly impressed. The flavor options for the chicken really make it hard to decide but you can order smaller quantities to try more flavors, which I highly recommend! I tried the Bone in and the boneless wings and out of the two the boneless wings were the star of the show for me. The chicken was fresh not frozen and they use dark meat which made it way juicier than traditional boneless wings. We ordered family style to try different flavors and ordered nearly every side on the menu and my top two favorite flavors were the Soy Garlic and the Secret Sauce. The secret sauce was the perfect amount of sweetness with a hint of spice! The cheesing fries were different but in a great way and the Corn Cheese is a side I would not pass up. All of the staff was super friendly and kept coming to check on us and the restaurant was lively and gives a casual sports bar vibe. So I tried this new Korean fried chicken spot and wow...everything tasted incredibly fresh. You can really tell they use quality ingredients. The chicken wasn't greasy at all, and I didn't feel heavy after eating it. It felt like elevated bar food in the best way. The secret sauce had me licking my fingers. I even enjoyed the boneless wings, and I'm not usually a boneless girl, but since they use dark meat, they were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. They also had some unique appetizers. The corn actually really surprised me with so much flavor, very tasty. And the sweet potato fries paired perfectly with that secret sauce. Overall the vibe is relaxed and festive with all the Christmas decor at the moment, tables were clean when you walked in, service was attentive and the food came out surprisingly fast! The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because the area is so busy. It wasn't hard to find parking but there was just a lot of congestion at the time I went. Soy garlic is a classic and I will not deviate. I've tried a few other flavors but none match up to the soy garlic in my opinion. Excited to have a bbq chicken in the Pinellas Park area! We just found out tonight that the bbq means "best of the best quality" and this location truly lives up to the name! The food is fantastic - nothing was subpar. The corn cheese and fried dumplings are must-haves for sides, the sweet potato fries were really good too. I'm not usually a fan of boneless wings, but this place has completely changed my mind on that. The crispiness of the boneless wings is impeccable and the fact that they are prepared at the restaurant and not frozen - you can really taste the difference in the quality. The honey garlic and the galbi are my favorite flavors for the wings - the soy garlic and secret sauce were tasty too, you really can't go wrong, it just depends on what your taste buds are up for! The restaurant itself is nice and clean, we dined in December so the Christmas decorations and the little Christmas tree by the entrance is a nice touch - I love it when places feel festive for the holidays. The service was amazing as well - we were really taken care of, we always had water and refills - they were very prompt about getting our food to us and checking that everything met our expectations. This was a really wonderful dining experience - we'll be back and we'll be raving to all of our friends and family about it in the meantime! read more

Went to. b.b. q chicken last w/e ( 02/o7/ 26) was awesome, small establishment less than 20 tables along with a small bar area. Don't let the size or location ( strip mall ) fool you. The food was very impressive extremely fresh , the staff friendly, clean and family friendly.l had the 1/2 chicken with the Original sauce ( not at all spicy) next time I'll get the Secret Sauce little more of a spice. This thick was phenomenal hot, fresh crunchy and tasty. My company had the Rose Ddeok-Bokki ( duh) well it's s rice ( rigatoni ) that's solid . The sauce that it was soaking in was a Korean type spicy red chili sauce with a cream base. Had a slight kick but tasty and delicious. Also they have Korean beer / wine and a drink called "Soulja" a type of Korean drink in a bottle poured into shot glasses. FYI on that if you do decide to get that particular drink make sure you get the flavored one. .. soo much better. Definitely recommend this restaurant, I'm pretty sure it's locally owned and operated. It appears that the family runs it. Kudos to the chef, staff and proprietor. See you soon. It's the soft opening to day so wifey and I wanted to try it first before the grand opening. It's right on US 19 before PP mall. It looks dark from US19 due to tinted windows so you'll have to turn in on the street and into the parking lot. It is a small space area but still enough for a quick bite. They have the take out option. Service staff is friendly and willing to answer any questions you may have about the menu items. Once you are seated they immediately bring you plates and silverware and water in a cute water container that you would see in Korean or other Asian restaurants. This place is not your ordinary chicken wings place. I We ordered boneless but they do give the option to get whole chicken or half. Food was delish and if you like spicy they have that option too. BBQ Chicken in Pinellas was absolutely delicious! Everything was bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. Their chicken is super high-quality crispy, light breading, not greasy at all, and you can choose either bone-in or boneless. They also have a great variety of flavors. I tried the Secret Sauce, Soy Garlic, Honey Garlic, and Gangnam Style. It's honestly hard to pick a favorite because they were all delicious, but if I had to choose, the Soy Garlic wins! We also tried several sides, and everything impressed me. The sweet potato fries were great, the cheese ling fries had such an interesting flavor and texture, and the cheese sticks had that perfect pull when you bite into them. The fried dumplings were cooked to perfection, crispy but not greasy and the corn cheese ended up being one of my favorites with its yummy roasted flavor. One of the most unique items was the Sotteok sotteok , rice cakes and mini sausages glazed in a sweet chili sauce on a skewer. So tasty and fun to eat! I also love that they serve pickled radish as a palate cleanser with the chicken. They even offer really cool Korean-style sodas, plus beer and soju. I tried the lychee soju and it was delicious. The restaurant itself is super clean with great decor. The TVs give it a bit of a sports-bar vibe, but it's still easy to talk because it's not too loud. The service was perfect ! everyone was kind, and the food came out quickly, especially for how fresh everything is. And major bonus: the chicken stays juicy because they use thighs instead of breast. The chicken wings are the best I've had. They are super crispy and stay that way even if you get takeout. The chicken inside is nice and moist. The sauce selections are delicious. I've tried the galbi and honey garlic and both are super yummy. I highly recommend the food here. The service is great too. Just be prepared to wait a tiny bit longer for your food ( as compared to fast food wait times) but that's because they make each order fresh when you order it. Well worth the wait. What we had: Galbi wings 16ct Honey Garlic boneless 8ct Kimchi Fried Rice Their IG caught my wife's eye yesterday. Then we found the menu and were amazed at the descriptions. They sounded like no other chicken offerings in the area, so, we had to try it. We were impressed the minute we walked in. We were greeted by the aroma of fresh cooked rice, green onions, maybe some sesame. There was no typical odor of chicken grease/ burned oil and no indication of heat lamps. The young man that took our order was very pleasant and patient as we advised this was our first time ordering here. Our order was ready in the twenty minutes he quoted. The enticing aroma continued with our bag of food and had us cursing the long wait at the traffic lights to get home . We made it home in just over 10 minutes and were impressed at how well packaged and warm the food remained. Even more impressive, the fried egg on the Kimchi Fried Rice remained intact and soft enough to get the oozing yolk. My wife was the first to taste the Galbi wings. She rarely curses, but as soon as she tasted one, she exclaimed, "OMG, these are so F@!#^$G good!" I followed suit when I tasted the Hot Garlic boneless and promised never to buy these as boneless again! Because, these were also so F@!#^$G good, they are too easy to go through, it'd be best to have the bones to slow me down LOL! The flavors came through as described from the very first bite to the very last one. The batter was light , crispy, and somewhat airy. The chicken was properly cooked and juicy. The rice was well seasoned and had a nice little spice kick to it. We almost went back that same night. I knew I'd be writing a review, but could not wait and called them back yesterday. I may have scared the person that took my call when I asked for a manager. A manager was not available immediately, so I shared my gratitude, excitement, appreciation, and praise for a product well done.
