This is a solid bbq spot in the area. We have been back twice so far! Great coastal vibe that makes me feel like I'm beachside. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is community driven/minded. It's amazing how a little while ago it was nothing here and now there are 2 big buildings behind and this BBQ place. I have been coming to this area for years to take pictures of rocket launches and wildlife photography and I saw those 2 buildings being built from the ground up and in front of just empty space and an old establishment... now this brand new fast food/ BBQ place with a modern vibe, catching music and a good selection of different food, from fish (flounder btw) to shrimps, pulled pork, ribs, and more. The service by the young fella at the counter was friendly and fast, I got the Pulled Port platter with Mac and Cheese and French fries, they made the fries on the spot so it took about 5 minutes for them to join the rest of the food. Been wanting to try this place for a while, and finally got the chance... ...finally glad we did. Located south of downtown Titusville, this BBQ joint has a surfer-skater-kinda theme. Not what you would expect from a BBQ place, but okay, it makes for a very appealing ambiance. The restaurant is wide, it's open, and plenty of windows to let natural light in. As far as the insides are concerned, very clean and welcoming. You order the food in what I will call fast-food style, picking from a menu hanging on the wall and served up by friendly workers. My wife had their two-piece chicken meal while I had the Hang 5, both were very good and in the case of the Hang 5 it was a huge serving. Drinks are the fountain kind, but we choose water to make things simple for ourselves. As mentioned earlier the workers were all very friendly and patient as it was our first time trying to get our bearings. We chose a smoke Turkey sandwich and a Brisket sandwich let me say before going any further the Brisket and Turkey were amazing both smoky, moist and tender - but that's where it ended for me the carver was more focused on the scale weighing up the exact portion than creating a memorable lunch sandwich this why I commented on the fast food vibe - both sandwiches were built with just meat on a non toasted bun and passed down the line, sure there's sauce on the table and it's delicious but geez give me a pickle and onion man. The sides looked like at one time they could of been delicious and edible but this crew is definitely not going to freshen up things until they are sold out, to be safe I ordered fries since the others sides on the steam table seem to be a little dried out and crusty. the fries had been sitting awhile and were very cold and stale - it's not like we arrived mid afternoon it was barely after noon time and the restaurant was nearly empty which was surprising with the reviews given here. We finally got to try BB Rad's! I ordered the Officer and it was yummy! I don't usually order pulled pork anything, so it seemed a little dry, but I put the Carolina sauce all over and it was amazing. I got the jalapeño pineapple cornbread to go with it. Yummy! Hubby got the Longboard with sweet potato casserole and I liked it! We shared a Hula Girl, but we ate it first because it melts fast. The flavor was rich and soooo good. I'm so glad I stumbled upon this using Yelp - I would have never found this local BBQ spot. The inside is very cute, clean, but while the place is pretty big, there aren't as many tables as one would expect. The menu is classic BBQ, but you can tell the crew takes pride in their recipes and making great food for people. The BBQ sandwich was huge - HUGE - but very good and definitely worth it. The pulled pork had tons of flavor and wasn't too greasy, which is always a win. While they don't have tons of different sauce types, there is no need because the sweet and hot are both very good. I can't help but wonder if the owners name on B-rad, lol Skater, Florida theme restaurant. They have sticks all over. Local art and very fitting color scheme. They really revamped the building and it looks great. The service was actually pretty quick despite the line. It was very smooth transaction with the staff. The food was good! I got brisket sandwich. I don't eat meat so tried the Fish....all breading, no fish. The sides are really pitiful for a BBQ restaurant. Beans are like refried, no BBQ flavor. Fries are coated. Stop what you're doing and just go to BB Rad's! Thank goodness we finally have a BBQ place here in Titusville that's worth getting out of bed for. Lol! They are brand new so bring your patience because you will most likely have to wait in line to get inside. But oh it's worth the wait. They are more of a quick service assembly line style place and are very casual. They smoke their meats on site and honey the smell is amazing! The menu consists of sandwiches, platters, custom menu items, salads, sides and yummy desserts! I highly recommend getting a platter. You get more food in my opinion. My son ordered a brisket sandwich and I have to say it was a little sad and small sandwich but the taste was great! I ordered the Twin Fin that comes with 2 proteins, 2 sides and cornbread. I chose brisket and smoked sausage. The brisket was some of the best I've ever had! Juicy, flavorful, fatty and seasoned perfectly! I didn't even use the BBQ sauce because it didn't need any. Between me and my son we had Mac and Cheese, corn casserole and sweet potato casserole. All were delish although my favorite is between the Mac and cheese and sweet potato casserole. Washington Ave., Titusville, FL 32780 1 Star According to their website, BB Rad's exists "to honor God & impact our community with radical generosity, integrity & an atmosphere of excellence." There is a short (9-minute) introductory video on their website as well. The owner, Brad Russell was an evangelical Pastor and wanted to start a business to better meet the needs of his community. So they thought what better business than a BBQ restaurant? I can't see the logic there either, but that is neither here nor there. What is here is the obvious. Anyone who has to vouch for themselves and tell you how much integrity they have or how altruistic their business plan is should garner deep concern on your part. Mix that with religion and you can be absolutely certain you are about to be taken for a ride and hustled out of your money. That is exactly what happened at BB Rad's BBQ. This sore excuse for a dining establishment is one Mac & Cheese side away from a Swill Alert. This may be the out-and out worst BBQ on the Space Coast. From the utter lack of helpful employees to the jacked-up cook yelling at everyone in the kitchen, this is a horrid nightmare. Fighting through the chaos, I managed to get in an order for their Beef Brisket Platter with a side of Mac & Cheese and Sweet Potato Casserole. If you look at the pictures, there really is no need for me to continue. This food is going to suck. Regretfully, I was not let down in my visual perception of the proffered victuals. I could barely cut through the Brisket let alone eat it. If it looks like it could be used as a doorstop, it probably isn't tender. It was so dry it couldn't even cry for help. I think I might have loosened a crown attempting to chew this sad caricature of one of the definitive meats of Southern BBQ, the Beef Brisket. The sides were not much better. The Mac & Cheese was the demarcation line between a 1-Star and a Swill Alert. It wasn't the best I've ever had, but at least it was cooked properly and edible. It was a tad on the dry side. Most likely it is made in bulk while prepping for the day and kept warm. I can't vouch for that, but I can say with certainty it was just this side of dried Elmer's paste. At least, if memory serves, it tastes better. Thankfully, this brought me to the last dish to sample, my side of BB Rad's Sweet Potato Casserole. Doesn't that just sound like it would be something delicious and comforting? I was really looking forward to tasting it when I ordered. However, after sampling the last two items, I approached it with a sigh of resignation. If one turns their attention to the picture, it tastes exactly how it looked; like something from a baby's diaper. I've changed my fair share, I know of what I speak. Where I was expecting at least a hint of Grandma's sweet potatoes, I got a bland paste. Not a hint of cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg or any spice to be found. Nada. Zip. Zilch. Brisket sandwich was missing a smoke flavor but maybe that's the way they do it in Florida. Poutine was def missing the gravy. If that was added to that dish and the bbq was hot, I would have loved it, but unfortunately, it got tossed. Sides were average. 5 stars for a solid new Titusville BBQ spot. When it comes to BBQ, Four Rivers generally rules the Central Florida area. As that can be tough to get from Titusville, I was happy to hear that a new spot opened on US 1 in the old VietRiver spot. My wife and I grabbed her parents and headed over to check the spot out. We arrived around 7pm to find multiple parking lots (the one on the north side is larger and easier to use, but not currently accessible when driving south). We found a line out the door, but it moved pretty fast as we were up to the counter in about 5-10 minutes. We were lucky to arrive at the time we did as they were just starting to run out of food for the day (we got to try some free brisket bc of it). I decided to order the Officer, which is pulled pork on a locally-sourced donut (whatever that means), while my wife got the slider trio with double burnt ends and smoked chicken. We also order a Hula Girl, which is pineapple dole whip in a collectors cup, to share. We sat down at a picnic style table surrounded by fun coastal artwork/architecture and dug in. My officer was excellent, and my side of sweet potato casserole was excellent and not to sweet. My wife loved the burnt ends and accompanying baked beans side, and I loved getting to finish her smoked chicken. The Hula Girl was fun and actually mixed with our Diet Coke to make kind of a coke flot in your mouth. Considering we got all this for a little over $20, it was quite a deal. Overall, BB Rads provides the Space Coast with a fantastic BBQ option. The fun location, tasty food, and fair prices should have Four Rivers looking over its shoulder. read more

The slaw was good until my fourth bite; LARGE piece of HARD PLASTIC was in my fourth bite. I looked at it to make sure I was correct, showed it to the others that were dining with me and that's when my sister-in-law said "this is plastic, I'm going to talk to the manager" She went to the counter asked for the manager and showed them the piece (about a half in long, a quarter inch wide and an eight inch high) They insisted it was a piece of lemon that they soak and put in the slaw BULL CRAP!
