Came here with my boys and we had a good time. It's a safe space to be a big back but I've had some better experiences in queens. Overall pretty good and worth a try. We got the all you can eat deal with the wagyu which came out to around $80. Definitely work it! We got this cool wagyu tower that came with an assortment of meats and then we did way too many à la cart orders to count but the food was pretty good. Next time I would order way more ribs. Ambiance was pretty dope. Good setting to talk and catch up but the drinks were ehh. Service was also kind of blah. Our waiters took a little while and it felt like I had to chase them down.
We stopped in for a quiet Thursday lunch. There were a few other tables, but plenty of servers, which made sense given the restaurant's strict timing policy, your last call is 20 minutes before the 90-minute limit, clearly displayed on the tablet. We did run slightly over after placing our final order, but it didn't seem to be an issue, possibly because it wasn't busy. In any case, service was attentive and efficient, and the pacing didn't feel rushed, you have enough time to enjoy the experience and make it worthwhile. We chose the AYCE Set C. I considered Set D, but since it was my first visit, I wanted to leave room to try a wider range of appetizers and sides. Set D feels more geared toward focusing on the unlimited A5 Wagyu, which I'd probably save for another visit. That said, some parts of the meal fell short. The seafood boat felt more like filler than a highlight. The lobster was underwhelming without any butter, and the low flame left the scallops closer to steamed than grilled. The Ferris wheel presentation is eye-catching, but it doesn't add much beyond aesthetics. I also found the Wagyu sliced too thin, making it difficult to get a proper sear without overcooking. Thicker cuts would have made a noticeable difference in flavor and texture. I couldn't tell which cut I was eating since there was no texture. While Set D includes unlimited Wagyu strip loin, it's limited to that one cut. Personally, I'd prefer more variety, even if it meant choosing favorites to reorder. There were some bright spots: the wagyu beef tongue was the best item of the entire meal, the rich bone broth and salad were both very good, and the shrimp tempura and shrimp with shiso skewer were enjoyable. The sashimi and beef tartare were just average, while the Wagyu sando and Wagyu fried rice didn't quite meet expectations. The A5 Wagyu toro uni sushi was also underwhelming, especially given how little uni was included and it's limited to one serving. I was more interested in the A5 Wagyu beef bowl with uni, but that's only offered with Set D. As for the additional unlimited BBQ meats, they didn't stand out, especially after eating Wagyu, all other meats eat dry. The strawberry ice and cheesecake desserts were both solid and a nice way to end the meal. Overall, it was a decent experience. Personally, I'd trade some of the presentation and extras for a better selection and execution of A5 Wagyu cuts.
I made reservations with Steve, he is awesome, and makes sure you are good throughout the nice. The hospitality is great for ayca. The workers know what they are doing and def takes care of you. They even offer to cook some of the items and help with the menu orders. About this is there are four tier groups you can choose from (this all depends how much you can eat for the time being). Tier a is just limited amount of American waygu pieces per person for $49 and unlimited sides. Tier b is ayce American waygu with unlimited sides for $69 pp. Tier c is unlimited American waygu, limited Japanese waygu per person, and unlimited sides for $99 pp. tier d is ayca American, Japanese Wagyu, and sides for $168 pp. We got tier c and it was enough Japanese waygu to try that taste AMAZING! American short rib was awesome too. Literally melts in your mouth. You have to come ready to eat. I didn't eat too much carbs because I wanted to eat the meats! They did have waygu fried rice that was good. Now they don't have a lot of dipping or sauces; but it's not needed because the quality of the meat is delicious itself. They had their regular soy/ponzo, a dry dipping, and their chefs sauce. Mixing all three is good as well! It was def worth it, the drinks are good for presentation. We also ordered the drink with the entire soju for 19.99 (that was worth it!). Come here hungry and this place is worth it! At the end they have a dessert option with cheesecake, shaved ice, or a cake. It's not cheap either. The amount they give you is super generous. I will be back again !!
We came here for the all you can eat. This place is spacious. You order on a tablet. We opted in for the AYCE A. We got the Y space combo, appetizers and additional meats. The Y space combo has beef, pork and chicken. We only like one cut of beef as the other were really tough and thick. It is good to try it for the first time but I don't think it's worth getting as it fills you up pretty quick and there's meat that we don't really want. We usually get the thin sliced beef and the best one is the miso toro. As for the appetizers we only got the shrimp tempura and potato salad which were both good. The star is really our waitress. I didn't get her name but she was awesome. She was very attentive, nice and she cooked all our food.
This is an AYCE Chinese BBQ themed restaurant with a space theme. The decor makes you feel like you're in an interesting galactic restaurant. There is also a full bar available aside from the juices and bubble tea drinks offered. The waitress informed us that there are several AYCE options, four price points. The basic starts at $49.99. And it goes up to $100+. If you do not want the AYCE option, you are allowed to do a la carte. The only rule is that all members of your party must order the same price point or if you want a la carte, the whole table must do the same. Cannot do both. The menu is quite extensive. Plenty of meat! American and Japanese Wagyu available based on price plan. Each plan has its own extra benefits so be sure to check the options before deciding. I wanted uni so I would have had to order it a la carte as it was not included in my $69.99 pp plan. But since there was so much food to choose from on this American Wagyu menu plan, I chose to try everything on that instead of ordering the uni. We had Wagyu sandwiches, chicken wings, salad (great salad with house dressing), and even sushi/sashimi with our plan. Our waitress was very helpful with the questions we had and she was great at changing out our grill plate as we cooked the different meats, then switched again for the pork, and then once more for the extra round of beef we ordered. I came for a late lunch so it was a lot of food for a mid day meal. Our food was nicely presented on a wooden boat! Our waitress also helped us cook at the table. Some restaurants let you cook it yourself but we were too busy talking and drinking. All in all a good value and a good choice.
Came here for dinner with some friends for AYCE (this was my 3rd time visiting). The service was great and the staff were very attentive. Music wasn't too loud which I like. The food was delicious, and the presentations were picture-worthy. They offer a vegetable platter with asparagus, mushrooms, zucchini, corn, and pumpkin, but I only wanted the asparagus, zucchini, and mushrooms Lur waiter was really kind and brought me a full plate of just those three veggies. The only issues we had were a few crumbs left on the table when we were seated, and unfortunately I found a bug on my lettuce
The food was amazing and the setting was top notch. Although a little pricey, but it's well worth it. Especially if you have a big party. Thé portions are sizable and filling. The service there was peak, a lot of younger folk so you'll feel pretty upbeat. Everyone there is quite polite and expedient. The waygu sando and the seltzer was bomb! I highly recommend it.

Jamie and Amanda are great servers and the service was consistent and very helpful. The interior is pretty dope. As expected, space themed and modern. The music is good and varied so something for everyone. Now for the only reason you care; the food. It is fantastic. The meats are fresh, there are plenty of options, drinks are surprisingly refreshing and you can get quite the show for the right price. Will definitely be back!
Decent Experience, But Nothing Special!! Tried Y Barbecue in Flushing recently. The food was OK..decent flavor, but nothing that really stood out. One thing I noticed was the lack of variety in dips and sauces; they only had two options, which felt a bit limited for a barbecue spot. Presentation was nice, and the place itself is clean, which I appreciated. The servers were attentive and friendly, so service gets a thumbs up. Overall, it's a solid spot, but not something I'd go out of my way for.
I went with a friend and we decided to try the B set, which came with some USA Wagyu. Overall, the food was pretty good -- definitely enjoyable, though it did take a little longer than I expected to arrive. Just a heads-up, drinks and desserts aren't included in the set, so plan on ordering those separately if you want them. There's a good range of options on the menu, so it's nice to have choices whether you're feeling something light or more filling. The vibe was chill, and the staff were friendly, which made the wait easier to handle. All in all, I'd come back again to try some other dishes and maybe pace myself a bit better. If you're into variety and decent food, this spot is worth a visit!
This place only has 5 star reviews on GOOGLE bc you get a free soft drink... Honestly, for $69 + tax and tip ($98), it is not worth it. I had a party of 8 and we had a single small grill. Service although slow, was fantastic. We had to cook our own meats, and most of the time the grill was burnt and took them a while to change it. Meats were really fatty, and we left after 90 minutes still feeling hungry.

This is a good AYCE spot. Went here for my birthday. They have music blasting throughout so it felt lively. The service was good they were attentive and the food came out quickly. Some places they slow down the service in the second half of the meal but it felt like service was consistent throughout. For each price place they had a good selection. We went with the A selection which was $49 pp. the next tier was the $69 which included American Wagyu and sushi and the $89 which included the A5 which was not bad. But since the rest of our party was more selective we went with the AYCE A. We were stuffed! Would love to come back and get the other AYCE selections. read more

Need to take Bubs back ASAP! He's really into all things space and this spot totally delivers that. From the planet that's above the toilet in the futuristic spaceship like bathrooms to the scenic videos displayed on the walls it's really an out of this world experience. We got the all you can eat package B which comes with the American Wagyu. And while some of the meats were on the fatty side, we loved the presentation and the sides that it came with. Way too much food to recount but the Wagyu fried rice and the shrimp were favorites. The drinks are delicious too. Not talking alcohol, I'm talking their teas. I tried the kumquat lemon tea and it was exactly what I was looking to get. The service was good and they did a good job of changing out our grill while checking on us. They also know that it's all about them photo op, so the dragon boat of meat and the Ferris wheel sushi (we didn't get this, but we saw others around us order this) are great touches. Pro tip: There's a lot across the street to park, so don't go crazy trying to find street parking, especially in this area of Flushing. read more

Came here with a couple friends since we were craving KBBQ. We ended up going with the AYCE Unlimited Japanese Wagyu option for $149 a person since this came with the A5 wagyu that the other options didn't come with (limit of 1 order). Along with the seafood boat, you get to choose one additional combo, so we got the ferris wheel. For apps, we got the wagyu toro sushi and salmon sashimi. The wagyu toro was pretty good, but would skip the salmon. In addition to all the wagyu meat options, we also ordered the pork kalbi and a mixed vegetable platter. The meat was pretty good and very fatty & tender. The seafood though, didn't taste fresh at all, so we skipped most of this. The staff was attentive and cooks everything for you, although it does take awhile. Overall, I wouldn't go with the unlimited wagyu option just because it gets so fatty after awhile that you can't eat much too much anyway. Not too bad price wise if you go with the lower option. read more

From the futuristic ambiance to the interactive grilling everything about this spot is next level. The vibe is absolutely electric. The food is 10/10 delicious. Every bite from the perfectly marinated meats to the crispy scallion pancakes was packed with flavor. One standout was the Fanhua cocktail a fiery spectacle that's all about the aesthetics and a fun way to level up your night. And the service was top tier. The staff made sure we had everything we needed for the ultimate BBQ feast. Y Space BBQ has officially set the standard for how I enjoy my meals. I have been wanting to try this place for months now! Today was the day! First off, I am impressed by their operating hours, open until 3am?! Who said u can't have a full meal late at night?! lol! They knew what they were doing when they put a parking lot with a cashless payment system! within walking distance! When you walk in, you are greeted by friendly servers in the front. We were seated at a table with the usual setup. Our waitress was one of the best I have had in a long time. She was very knowledgeable of the menu and she was so patient with us as it was our first time. We chose the all you can eat option for the two of us and boy oh boy! Everything you could even imagine! The appetizers on point! The meat was top tier and the sushi was fresh (a little too much rice, but eh). I was pleasantly sup with everything, including the presentation! We got way too many things for me to list, but I took some good pictures...I was just disappointed a little in the waygu fried rice because of the under-seasoning, but with their sauce it was actually tasty! 10/10, would definitely recommend read more

The food here was super delicious. I went around 8-9 pm and was not disappointed. The service was on point, they were very attentive and made sure we don't run out of napkins or water. The ambiance was nice and quiet. The food was my favorite part of this experience, it was tasty and worth coming back for. read more
Atmosphere is really cool - space themed. Not too long of a wait on a Saturday night, about 20minutes and we were seated. Service was too notched. Our server changed our grill several times depending on what we were cooking. He even helped cook the $145 A5 Wagyu we got to ensure it was cooked properly. Kids got a hefty serving of chicken nuggets and fries. Fries were not too good but my kids ate up the nugs. All the cuts of meat were excellent. Drinks were good. SO MUCH FOOD AND SO MUCH FLAVOR. Get the boat of meat SERIOUSLY GET IT it's beautiful.. for $69 we got so many selections of meat, appetizers, rice/soups. The seasoning they gave "spicy beef flavor" elevated everything. You have to get the Waygu slider. Amazing. The service was very attentive we got the coil changed as soon as it started getting too hot. The place is also beautiful with a really cool back drop, pretty bar, and lots of intimate seating. There's also a parking lot right next to it which is amazing because parking in flushing is deadly. Will DEFINITELY be back. read more

This was his first experience as the chef we had a great waitress by the name of Stella she reviewed the menu and then prepared us for our cooking experience. SO GOOD! I was in Queens where every KBBQ place seemed to be packed lol but Y Space had just enough space for us and was the perfect place to wait out a brief NYC snowstorm lol. The food was amazinggggg- we ordered the all you can eat American waygu package and everything was perfect. It came with your choice of combo (we got the dragon boat combo) along with your choice of appetizers. We ordered the kimchi, potato salad, and waygu sando. Got myself some fancy lunch today with a couple of other friends, I've bookmarked this place for a while after seeing it on Instagram. Finally got to try it today :) I originally came hoping to get the ferries wheel seafood set but went for the bbq set instead to try that out first. It's a cool space but no air vents for the bbq which is strange so you'll smell like bbq when you finish! It does also get a bit hot by the grill and smoke will be coming at you in all directions haha so watch out for that. Sitting by the window at noon was not a good choice, my friends were in the sun and felt like they went to the beach with the heat, so ask to sit inside for a cooler experience. My friends and I went with the $69 AYCE option and ordered 3 drinks for each of us, one with alcohol for the fancy burning effect and the totally came out to be $102 per person (with the default 18% tip). When we were paying at the end with our cards, they look at you when you add the tip (starting at 18%...), it always feels so awkward when they do that, having someone stand by you while you add in the tip, or when you sign your card. They do that in ktown too which I dislike. Almost feels like we're forced to tip that much unless you do your own calculations while the staff is waiting on the side, plus we had a small group and it's for lunch, I would've went with 15% if that option was there. Out of all the food we tried, there was only one or two cuts of meat from the limited addition that I liked (not beef tongue or pork jowl), probably the prime short rib or kalbi not sure which cut. The meat kinda all blends together after a while... We did the dragon boat combo which comes with 4 special limited cuts - portion was quite big for the 3 of us, we had to stop them from cooking some of the pork since it wasn't that good. All the fried side dishes weren't that good, like fried shrimp, karaage (fried chicken), spicy fried chicken were average and a little dry. Skippable in my opinion. I liked the eel over rice and my friend liked the beef bone soup. You can also try the special chef sauce. I personally like the meat with the salad sauce and thought they went well together. Other cuts of meat were a bit too chewy for me and were average too outside of the limited cuts. They'll help you grill which is kinda nice. It is pretty stuffing with the dragon boat and we were pretty full after eating that. For the drinks, Lychee rose tea was okay, a bit too sweet so I had to add some water. The burning drink fanhua was a bit too strong for me so adding some water made it better. More for the gram and not something I'd order again. Overall I'd say I'm not that impressed, it's a place that's cool to try once but I won't be coming back unless I'm going with a larger group to try more items. We came at 12pm and it was all empty, price point feels higher than other options in flushing, so it's gotta be another special occasion if I were to come back. read more
