The food was very good. The service wasn't polished like a Michelin star restaurant, but it didn't need to be. It was authentic and heartfelt, and sometimes that matters more. You could tell the staff cared about what they were doing. The place was busy, especially for the time of day we went, which tells you something. People come here on purpose. That says a lot. We were seated quickly, our order was taken without any issues, and the food came out in a reasonable time. When it hit the table, the portions were generous and satisfying. I wish I had taken pictures, but I was too busy enjoying the moment. If you go, post your photos--I'm sure the business would appreciate it. If you've followed my reviews, you know I don't give out 4 stars often, and 5 stars are rare. This place earned that extra star because of how it made me feel--between the food, the atmosphere, and the service, it just worked. It's a classic diner, so the atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect, but the service was excellent and my meal was good. I appreciated the "Seniors 59 and Older" section on the menu--perfect for those of us who don't eat as much as we used to. I ordered the Breakfast Sandwich ($8.49), which came with bacon, egg, and cheese on an English muffin. It was a perfect portion and very tasty. Would definitely stop here again.

We stayed and ate at the restaurant at a table with a view of Main Street. We ordered the Motherlode breakfast dish and the French toast. The Motherlode is a Homemade Biscuit, Country Potatoes, Gravy, Sunnyside Egg & Bacon Bits. It had a great smoky flavor and I always enjoy a homemade style biscuit. The French toast was served with a side of potatoes. It was cooked perfectly and had a great flavor. My only regret is that we didn't grab a few cookies for the road home that looked so good. He went into the shop and tried on a pair of slip-on sandals. Happy with the shoes he tried on, the employee went to the back and brought out a box. My son paid and left. He only wore the shoes into the Podiatrist office. The Podiatrist informed him he was sold women's shoes that was why they didn't feel right. When he took the shoes back they would not exchange them for the men's shoe he was supposed to get. He had to pay for yet another pair of shoes. Upon returning to the store with my son, the man (possible owner) was rude and unwilling to make THEIR mistake right. We will never shop there again and we will definitely be sharing our experience with everyone we know! It is a shame when you want to support a local store and the customer service is so pathetic.

As for the drink, I had the Tutti Fruity smoothie in a 16 Oz, and as it was a pretty warm day, I was thankful for such a refreshing drink. The ube foam was a great addition to the smoothie, and all of the components meshed well. Nothing clashed in terms of flavor or texture. Bistro Saechao is inside Jackson Fitness, but it is a quiet front area and there are bar chairs inside as well as a few rustic metal tables outside to sit if you wish to eat there. The owners are super friendly and are always keen to answer any questions about the menu, and the food is made with care, so expect a reasonable wait time after you order. This casino has always been pretty good with paying out too and there's plenty of machines to choose from. They have serve yourself coffee and soft drink areas and that's always a plus. The rooms are huge and very clean. My husband and I have never had any issues with noise or anything. Staff are all very friendly as well. The only issue is that the hotel isn't connected to the casino but there's a walkway that leads you to it. There's also a shuttle service if you have anyone in your party who can't walk far. All in all, a pretty good place to unwind.
