I pressed the wrong star, it should be a 5 stars. I love their charcoal BBQ with a private room. It's a great k-bbq experience. The set dinner has more food than the 4 of us could finish. I love the rice sweet soup at the end.

DON'T GO THIS PLACE!!! Our family visited this place for dinner and ordered the all-you-can-eat option, but it was a terrible experience. The meat had a spoiled smell, and the soybean paste stew tasted like plain salted water. When we told the server that the meat seemed spoiled, they got extremely rude and acted like we were the problem. On top of that, they automatically added a 25% tip and then demanded additional cash for the tip at the register. Completely unacceptable. This is the kind of restaurant that really shouldn't be in business. Do NOT go here.

We went here Saturday night as a guest of my sister & her fiancee w/my wife & brother in law. This place was probably a China Buffet as the layout of the restaurant inside is identical. We were all craving Korean Barbecue. In this respect this is what they provide couple w/a self serve Banchan in the room next door. It wasn't cheap. They had 2 options both were AYCE, one was $29.95/person & the other was also AYCE @ $38.95/person. She ordered the more expensive of the 2 options. The tables all come equipped with hot plates where you cook your own meat. There are vertical tubes that pull down directly over the cooking plate to remove any fumes from the area. We ordered a number of different meats that were brought to our table to be cooked by us w/metal tongs & scissors to cut the meat We ordered 2 each of the following dishes * Pork Belly (pure fat not much meat) * marinated chicken thigh * Beef Bulgogi (this was my favorite item) * Beef Short Ribs (not too bad) * Shrimp (mehhh). Don't bring shrimp to a meat fest lol) They had a little 3 tray dish & each spot for dipping the meat. I really liked the sesame & salt BBQ Garden a prime example of a Buffet, by that I mean QUANTITY VS QUALITY. At $38.95/person you kind of expect a higher quality, but unfortunately it was more about quantity over quality. FYI - They put an automatic 18% on the bill for gratuity. Would I go back again? Probably not for the price point verses the quality of the food. In my opinion there are far better Korean barbecue like New Seoul Korean Barbecue in Des Plaines

Today I went with family and friends to celebrate my birthday. It was a wonderful place to have AYCE KBBQ. We did their regular/basic AYCE which is $30 per head. The basic menu had lots of dishes including bulgogi, gizzards, cheesy corn, brisket, pork belly and loads other proteins! The service was good as usual with a call button on the table. I really like how they have side dishes and carbs out for us to grab ourselves since I like to grab my own banchan. They do have ice cream and fruit as well which is delicious after a big meat meal! The ambiance is great for small and large parties for KBBQ.

My dad was craving Korean BBQ, so we decided to try BBQ Garden for the first time. Though we knew the location, we hadn't been to this restaurant before. The space is quite large, and it feels like it was once a Chinese buffet, now converted into a Korean BBQ spot. Each table has its own grill and exhaust, and there's a self-serve appetizer buffet with unlimited options. They offer a variety of meats in two price tiers--standard at $30, which we chose, and deluxe at $40. For the price, the meat quality was pretty good, and I'd definitely come back. The service was excellent; they frequently replaced our grill, which was a huge plus. Just a note--the menu mentions an 18% service charge, but it's well-earned given the attentive service.

Was very excited to eat here. Service was unusual , our server comes over three times in the beginning to ask us what we would like and we start to tell her and she walks away. We ordered the deluxe menu. It was OK. The quality of meat was really poor. It looks like an incredible selection but the grade of meat was terrible. They have a huge selection of ban Chan . I was really excited to try it, but to me pretty much everything tasted the same. I had a very hard time with communication. I don't understand when you talk to someone in the service industry and they walk away.

I looooved this place! It almost gives diner vibes but the prices are great and the food is delicious. I went with a couple friends and got the regular ayce deal, which was somewhere around $30 per person. I love that the appetizers are self serve, and I filled up my plate with kimchi, radishes, kimbap, and tons of other delicious foods. Of the different meats we had, I liked the beef bulgogi and samgyupsal the best. Overall, great experience, great food, nice price. I certainly wouldn't be mad if I ended up back here again.

It was my first time at BBQ Garden. This restaurant is great if you want to get seated and eat fast. There's a ton of seating, I can't imagine there ever being a waiting time. There is a self serve sections for the side dishes, soups, and ice cream. It's like a buffet where you grab a plate and grab whatever you'd like. There was a great selection of side dishes. We ordered a good amount of different meats. The only meat we liked was the brisket. The quality of the other meats weren't too good, but was edible. Corn cheese was yummy! You receive it in a hot plate, so it stayed hot. Customer service was great. There was a lot of employees around, we never felt like we had to wait for a long time. They work so fast and get you everything right away. There's a lot of competition in the area for AYCE kbbq. I would only come back if I am really hungry and wanted food asap. This place isn't terrible, but not in my tops for AYCE Korean bbq.

Can't wait to go back again . Love a local Korean bbq that surprises you and this place just did that . I went here for a party of 12 people and they were able to accommodate they did call so try calling ahead for large parties . The side dish dish buffet was everything it has all the sides you ll need to accompany the delicious bbq . The waiters and staff were so kind always making sure we had everything we need and replenish all the drinks including soju. Can't wait to go again !

Ayce Korean Bbq, worth while! This place is big a lot of seating. It's self serve of the unlimited sides. It's clean and service was okay. They offer a lot of unique protein options like beef intestines and chicken gizzards, which I liked a lot. We had the standard option that was good. For dessert they have fruit and a soft serve machine. The ice cream from the soft serve machine was not really good. Come on an empty stomach.

Best Korean BBQ in the chicagoland area. BIGGEST PRO: - If you are looking to pregame and eat Korean BBQ before going out, go here. VERY VERY VERY few places in the nation have the ventilation system they do which allows you to leave the place smelling like how you came in. Very very minimal k bbq smell after leaving (although that smell is fine for me and Im used to it) Pros: - They actually serve enough meat to leave you feeling very full (great prices for the quality of meat) - Meat always looks fresh (I'm not a meat expert so take this as a grain of salt)- doesn't look brown - Lots and lots of different meat options - Such prompt service even for such a huge restaurant. - Naengmun is super duper chewy and nice - VERY VERY Clean read more

Never do all you can eat here. Service is terrible, the waitress brought us meat that was tough like rubber. Told her this is not what we want, she brought different kind but it looked same as before so told her we don't want it, but she insisted we have to eat it anyway because that is what we ordered. What place tells a customer u have to eat rubber meat! They should have said sorry and asked if the order is correct and not force the customer to eat rubber. Will never go here again. I don't really review even on places that are bad but this is worst experience ever. read more

We were very disappointed with the quality of food and service. We wanted to try some good Korean bbq place. Based on the other yelp reviews, we thought this place was a safe bet. However, after visiting the restaurants, we are doubtful of the positive reviews. We were seated immediately which was good. The place is very spacious. We visited Wednesday evening and the place was quiet, only few tables were occupied. We didn't know this restaurant was AYCE. You have several options to eat AYCE. Depending on the selection of meats, it can be pretty expensive. We ordered the one with rib, with the tax and tips, it comes about $40 per person. There were five of us, yet, they would only bring 3 items only! So at times we waited a long time for our meats. We were horrified that they brought red meats and sea food together! This is how one gets sick! Couple of us are in health field, we looked at each other in utter shock!! One item we asked was tripes that was on the menu. Yet one of the waitress insisted, it was not available. Since it was on the menu, we asked several times. Finally, she asked the other waitress and brought the item, which she claims that they did not have. Also, with this price, most places they would cook for you. However, this place, they placed the meat and we had to cook for ourselves. In the beginning, one of the waitress cooked for us. But after that, we were on our own. The restaurant was not even busy, only couple tables were occupied. Once we asked the burnt grilled to be changed. But the waitress gave us an attitude saying, it is not burnt, just the meat juice is burnt!?!!! In addition to unsatisfactory service, we were very disappointed with the quality of meat. We will definitely not come back to this restaurant. read more

This is a good Korean barbecue place. The staff was great, friendly and helpful. The place is BIG and clean. My only crtique is that it is a bit pricey and they didn't allow me to order less meats than the number of patrons. This sucks if you want to treat your kids, because they don't eat as an adult, but they have to pay like one. At $25 avg a piece, it is quite expensive for a family of 5. read more

This place is one of the better Korean BBQ places I've tried. Walked in for a late lunch/early dinner and was seated immediately. Our waiter was amazingly attentive and answered all of questions. Our party ordered the beef platter and all of the meat was so tender and was delicious! We found it to be hard to find something that my toddler would eat so our amazing waiter went out of his way and offered some things that she may like. He was the best waiter I've ever had, hands down. The experience, the food... it was all so good that we'll definitely be back! read more

Our company tried this restaurant for one of our parties. Great food. Service was excellent. Plenty of room for everyone - compared to that other Asian/Korean restaurant (P). Also, people actually greet you with a smile. Lots of parking. I have no regrets coming here. read more

Found this place based on their high yelp reviews. We are familiar with the area and the many Korean restaurants, but this is now my family's favorite for bbq. The quality of meat is great and it's all you can eat. Our favorites are the ribs & plain pork belly. Plenty of sides to choose from as well. Kevin is so friendly and attentive. Came here yesterday with a group of 15. The place itself is very nice spacious not crammed clean. Bathrooms updated and clean. Beautiful pond when you walk in. Plenty of parking. Love the way they do the ventilation for when you grill meats. My clothes didn't end up smelling too bad of korean bbq unlike many other times. The buffet for side dishes were very good. Few types of korean sushi, fried chicken, japchae, pickled this and that. They had plenty of sauces. The service was actually good. I read the reviews here saying how rude the people were but they were nice and friendly and helped us cook the whole time and cut up the meats for us. Maybe we just didn't run into the same rude waitress? Who knows. But my group also did speak korean :). Now the bad.... the meats were... very fatty. The Kalbi came with bones which is fine but it was fatty. I thought maybe it's just the first batch... second batch came... fatty. Then Third batch... fatty!! Their pork was good though... but the beef was poor quality and really fatty. You still pay a lot for the buffet. They shouldn't cheap out that much!! read more

This is my go to place when it comes to having the full Korean BBQ experience. The staff is so lovely and are always incredibly helpful whether it is helping cook the food or giving us a free dish every time. Depending on how many people go with you depends on whether you would want to pay for each meal item or go with the buffet style. Love this place and frequently return happily each time. read more

Great Korean bbq! The spicy cold noodles was wonderful too. Also it is such a great place for kids to come because they have a fountain area with koi fish and my kids had a blast looking at it while waiting for the food. The owner even gave my child fish food to feed the fish! read more

I love this place! They have good quality of meat and I appreciate the smoke vents that go right over the grill. We had a large group of people so we ordered their meat sets. We also had their Haemool Pajeon, Japchae, and Beef Soondubu...all we're delicious! The panchan was good too. An added plus is their service...seriously the best service we've had in a long time in a Korean restaurant! They helped cooked our food which was helpful since we had a large party. They were very friendly, accommodating, and attentive. We will definitely continue to come here. Also, the place is spacious with a parking lot which is always a bonus. read more

I came here with my family for dinner. The restaurant is clean and has a lot of space. There is also a private party room. The servers were very attentive and helpful. We ordered the marinated galbi, seafood pancake, and japchae.The cuts of meat were very tender. I live in the city but tend to come to the suburbs for korean bbq due to the quality of food. There were many side dishes that came out with the meal. When the kimchi is good, you know the food is going to be good! I really liked the seafood pancake. Be sure to order it with a side of soju! This restaurant is very good and welcoming to everyone-- new or old to the korean bbq scene. read more

Finally, a new kbbq place in the suburbs to try and was not disappointed. I was impressed with the decor, you can tell that they took the time and thought into it. The meat quality is one of the best in this area, it's so flavorful and tender to the point it almost melts in your mouth! They also serve array of side dishes and good service to boot. Right of the bat I came here expecting the worst. I'm really not a fan of ayce Korean bbq places. We've all been there... chewy meat, bad banchan, terrible service. My wife really wanted to try this place so she dragged the family here. Man i was surprised. The inside is very well done with a grill ventilation system I've only seen in Korea. The meat was actually really good! Galbi was super tender and the chadol and samgyupsal were all delicious! Even if it wasn't an ayce I would still be happy with the quality. And the sides are tasty as well! They have a banchan bar you can stock up yourself and everything was delicious. The also have a bar you can get soon tofu, fried chicken (really good), noodles in broth, gimbap, odang, and other stuff. Also all very good. The meat menu selection is in 3 tiers but even the 25$ tier had a great selection. All this in a ayce was surprising enough but my mind was blown that the wait staff was friendly and service was great! They always stopped by to help cook the meat and refill drinks. They also frequently changed the grill pan even without asking. I'll definitely be back. Still kind of shocked a Korean ayce bbq place like this even exists. The other 2 places nearby don't stand a chance. read more

Also there's barbecue. There's pork belly and that kind of stuff. Beers are the best things to get here. It also has food from an on site kitchen. Later that year we tried pickup again, for an elementary school fundraiser, and met a similar fate; we did get our food but they were backed up and it took forever. Well, fool me thrice, shame on me--we gave them another chance this past weekend, again on Father's Day...and they haven't improved. My wife ultimately waited over 40 extra minutes for our food. The staff member said "I understand" but never apologized or offered any restitution. I'm not asking for the moon and stars, but a free dessert and some sincerity would have meant something. They have two problems to solve: first, getting real-time feedback from the store to the online app, so that the app can give accurate estimates of the wait times. And second, handling a busy situation in the store with grace and empathy.

BBQ Garden is a great place to bring your family and friends, for some occasions like birthdays, gatherings, meetings, and others. This place has a large menu and a huge variety of meats and seafood. All of their offers here are reasonable and affordable. You will really enjoy your stay here. Get and order anything from the menu without breaking your pockets. The Korean BBQ here is phenomenal! It is so tasty, tender, juicy, and the quality says it all. All the orders were perfectly prepared and well-cooked. Definitely worth trying! The whole place is nice, clean, bright, and organized. My visit was rather disappointing. The dishes I ordered, including the intestines, brisket, and squid, were incredibly chewy, reminiscent of eating rubber bands. Additionally, the shrimp lacked freshness, which was quite disappointing. The service was subpar, which can be somewhat expected from an ayce restaurant. However, it still did not meet the standards set by other ayce places I've been to. The only saving grace was the marinated short rib.
