There was no sauce and the buns were basically cheap Hawaiian rolls. The buns kind of ripped apart trying to hold this sandwich and most of the bite just was multiple slices of brisket which made it impossible to eat. So I ended up just taking the slices out and eating it plain. The brisket to me was ok. It didn't really have enough seasoning or flavor, it also felt very chewy which is something that brisket shouldn't have. So it felt a bit undercooked. The pulled pork was great, but once again its just slapped in-between 2 Hawaiian rolls. Each sandwich is not cheap, 17$ for brisket and 15$ for the pulled pork. Once again the meat was kind of spilling everywhere and there was no sauce or anything else besides the meat and bun. Normally for a sandwich at this price point you'd expect it to be a well crafted sandwich with multiple ingredients and sauce. I would say they should ditch the sandwich pricing and sell it as just a meat plate. For the side I got mac and cheese and I wasn't a fan of it. Overall needs improvements.

By the time we got up there, another Asian lady took over which I assumed was the manager or owner of the location. We stood in line for about 35 mins before we could order. My order was wrong even though it was verbally confirmed. It was okay since I didn't pay for it. I wanted cornbread and she put down 2 Macs for my sides instead of one. She was nice enough to deliver our food to the table and tell me she thought I wanted cornbread. She ended up bringing it out anyway even though it wasn't on my receipt. The food: it was delicious! I got chicken, ribs and brisket. Everything was so tender. The ribs fell off the bone and had really good flavor. The brisket fell apart as you cut/ picked it off. Not too fatty, just enough. I especially liked there was no excessive "smoke" taste to the meats. We got the spicy bbq sauce and it was so good. Chicken was also tender but I liked the other two so much more. Cornbread was sweet and not too sweet, was moist too. I would get it again but maybe next time order online to pick up and eat in the restaurant.

I love Kings Hawaiian bread but not with whatever the topping is here... doesn't go together for us. But it is different and apparently draws people in for it! It's fine that we don't eat the bread... we certainly don't need it. The food here is healthy portions and really delicious! My favorite is the crab and shrimp scampi, makes everyone at the table jealous too. So yummy!! I'm not a big steak/meat eater and there are plenty of terrific options for me here. Others that I've dined with really love their prime rib and grilled steaks, no disappointments there. One suggestion is that they should use bleu cheese dressing on their Wedge Salad... that is what the wedge salad is all about, not ranch. Have the option at least. Dinners will run you $25-50, then add on any drinks or desserts. The staff was friendly and service was excellent. I had the BBQ Platter comes with 3 ribs, smoked pulled pork and a sausage link, cornbread, coleslaw and barbecue beans. The coleslaw had the right amount of sweetness and tangy flavor and also the barbecue beans. The ribs were delicious and fall off the bone tender, the smoked pulled pork was abundant and tasty. The link was also great tender with the snap of the skin. My meal started with warm honey butter bread with soup or salad, I chose the salad with blu cheese dressing. My server was Jarrod who provided excellent service and the staff was attentive refilling my Pepsi zero and water.
