    Spicy Pork
    Kelly B.

Came here since it was recommended to me and WOW! I tried their spicy pork and it was so delicious. The place itself is tiny, and so is the parking, but it's typical for the area. The vibe inside is chill. Overall, the workers were really friendly and the food came out quick! Definitely try this place!

Shout out to the person working at Old Style Guitars who recommended this place. It's walking distance from Gold Diggers and Hollywood Forever (both great concert venues), and honestly some of the best eggplant I've ever had. The menu is simple and straightforward, with one vegan/vegetarian option. The tofu and eggplant bowl was insanely delicious. Huge portions, very reasonable price, and piping hot and fresh. I walked there and ordered from the cashier, and it was a ten minute wait for food. You can order online in advance for pick up from their website, and it seems like they do a ton of delivery. They gave me napkins, a fork, and soy sauce and sriracha packets, but I didn't need them because it was seasoned and flavored perfectly. The tofu was melt in your mouth soft, not chewy at all, my favorite way of eating it. The in house pickled veggies were so good, and balanced the flavors in the dish. There were cashews for a crunch, and some onions and bok choy, all on a bed of fluffy white rice. I know LA has a ton of places to eat but I would definitely come back just for this bowl. After the rest of my group saw and smelled what I was eating, they all went to go order from there themselves and agreed it was delicious.

This was the perfect lunch spot. I was working in the area and needed some food so I ordered from here. Really simple menu - I got the beef bulgogi bowl and chicken gyoza. Portion sizes was huge!! If I wasn't feeling glutinous I could have split it and had it for two meals. Bowl and gyoza were so flavorful and exactly what I was craving. I'll have to make sure to order again.

Wok-fried tofu... SAUTEED TOFU... did the name changed or is it different bowls. Anyways, it is so GOOD. It has a bit of everything - tofu, eggplant, cashews, bok choy, onions, topped with house made pickles over rice. Just writing this review makes me want one right now. Also, they're always super friendly here. Delicious eats and awesome service, what more can you ask for... Only down side, parking during busy hours, it can get super tight! But I say, it's worth it!

I absolutely love the idea of a Korean BBQ Bowl. Most of the KBbQ restaurants I love require a minimum of two people to dine in. A lot of times when I have a taste for KBBQ I am alone and cannot enjoy it for this reason so this spot intrigued me. I ordered online for pickup. The GPS told me I was 8 minutes away, when I got there my order was ready for pickup. The portion sizes are great. I ate from that bowl all day! I ordered online: 1. Gochujang Chicken Bowl which comes on a bed of rice with house made pickle planks. It was good, just spicy enough and a nice portion. 2. A side of House made Kimchi -it was too soft for my liking so it seemed old, I prefer mine still a bit crunchy but the flavor was good. $3 3. A side of Dumplings. These were a good size and stuffed with flavorful filling $3 4. Korean Fried chicken - they were bite size pieces. I thought they would be Whole or party wings. I prefer bone in chicken. When you say "Fried Chicken" that's what I expect. Otherwise it's tenders or nuggets. But it explains the price $6 5. I loved the Korean drinks! I had the white grape juice which had whole peeled grapes in it. It was so juicy and fun. Also I had the Milk Soda which was a yogurt flavored carbonated drink Delish! 6. A side of rice just in case $2. It came in clutch as it helped me stretch my bowl into several meals. As you can see the prices are reasonable so you can eat hear on any budget. They use Sustainable packaging food and their to go presentation is on point! There is sufficient table seating for those who are on the go eating. I will definitely be returning!

I am a regular at this place because when I come to BBQ+Rice I know I'm going to be getting a comforting meal in a huge portion. This is owned by one of the co-founders of Baroo, the hugely successful popup and the quality and flavors of those dishes have translated quite nicely to these more accessible dishes, like the bulgogi bowl and the tofu bowl. My go-tos were the kimchi fried rice bowl (discontinued) and the bulgogi salad. People I've gone with also swear by their black pepper chicken and their short rib. I loved the kimchi fried rice bowl so much that I made it one of my phone backgrounds lol This location was recently broken into and their cash register stolen, so please support the super friendly owner Matthew amd his employees by stopping for lunch here sometime. One thing is that the parking lot is kind of small but there is also some street parking too.

FIRE A$$ food!!! You won't regret coming here. Friendly staff and great customer service. Every single visit so far has been just as good as the first Spicy Chicken Bowl has a burst of fresh flavors, soooo good! You won't regret coming here, bowls are decent size filled with veggies. My favorite part is the pickled radish (no photos to share).

Then guy who told the girl to seat us was just standing around d chit chatting with another employees for about 15 minutes before he even came to our table. He never even introduce himself. He just took our order. Another 20 mins came by before our food was served. OUR FOOD WAS ROOM TEMPERATURE. Short Rib was ok. The macaroni was stale and OLD! It was dry and not fresh! We asked for extra BBQ sauce and that didn't arrive for another 15 mins. We had to wave down another employee to try to get the sauce to us. I wouldn't recommend this place! Horrible service. Didn't even come around to see if we needed anything or if everything was good or not. We came here around 1:30pm on 3/16. The restroom was also out of paper towels and soap from the soda dispenser. Poor quality food! Glad I tried it, so I know to not come back again!

I saw a few YouTubers eating food from moo's Craft so knew I had to have it on my list of places to try when visiting socal. They state there's a lot behind the building to park at, but it looks liked you have to pay and we weren't sure which lot. So we just did street parking. We did go around 1:30 pm on a Thursday, so did not have much of an issue with finding street parking. Inside the restaurant, they have plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. There's no wait staff, so you go to the counter and order and once it's ready, they call your name/number and you pick up your tray of food from the counter. We ordered the El trio platter, which comes with 1 lbs of brisket, 1 lbs of pork ribs, 2 sausages (chili relleno and cheddar jalapeno) and 2 sides (which we chose Mac and cheese and red potato salad). We also saw the burgers from YouTube so got 2 of the Thicc burgers to share among everyone. We got a sides of the Texas chili to try. Everything was great. The burger was great. It was soft, great flavor and was just really solid. One of the best burgers I've had. The ribs were everyone's least favorite, but that just means the other food tasted better. Ribs were still good. All the sides were delicious as well. The Texas chili was great, the Mac and cheese was creamy and the potato salad tasted homemade. We could tell it was made in house. The sweet iced tea was refreshing, not overly sweet b Overall, I'll have to come back here to try their desserts and other items. I'll for sure be getting the burger and brisket again.
