Something sketch about their business model I was recommended by a clinician to come here for PRP related to postpartum shed etc...I paid for a 6 pack/month of PRP INJECTIONS AROUND $3k or $550 per injection beginning in October 2023. My hair fell out in massive chunks within days of coming here for an injection. When I was assessed they failed to mention this could potentially happen and was one of the many reasons I didn't try other medications or treatments- I was avoiding shock loss. A kind NP provided education and helped me understand what could happen . Regardless , I decided now was not the best time, I couldn't pinpoint the start of the shed and didn't want to do too much to my body. I emailed the business with photos of the massive hair loss each time I washed my hair and saved the evidence in bags. They set me up with an appt on 1/4 at 2pm to talk to the owner/physician. I decided to stop treatment and Dr Frie offered a refund which in my mind would be $1500 since no completed half of my package. She said she'd let the front desk staff know and they would contact me. It took days and no one contacted me so I called and emailed the business they said the office manager was busy but would contact me . I received a response from Lina Marques on 1/9/23 and that they would offer me $450 because the treatments are $850 each once and the more you but the cheaper but once you "break the package" each treatment reverts back to the original cost which is $850 each injection. This wasn't outlined in any contract they gave me . However I decided to move forward , and have yet to hear from them regarding my refund. I don't like businesses that don't move forward when an action is decided. In this case on 1/4 I decided to stop treatment and requested a refund. It is 1/12 and I don't like following up with businesses in regards to MY money. I don't like when businesses are difficult to reach, and in this case I've formally requested a refund to the owner Dr Frie, in the email response to Lina marques and in a follow up email sent 1/12 again asking what the hold up is. They need clearer policies around their specialty items / packages as well. They have no issue charging you IMMEDIATELY but seem to lag over a week+ when it comes to issuing a refund for services not rendered . Yesterday was my first time at Be Clinical. My best friend was also trying them for the first time so I decided to see if I could get in too. I called for a same day appointment and they got me in for a same day lip injection appointment with Jamie. I am VERY happy with the whole experience. Starting with the front desk, the girls were professional, kind, knowledgeable and approachable. The facility is very clean and has a calming sleek appearance that makes the wait relaxing. Even the bathrooms were elegant. I loved that they gave me a little tiny jar of numbing cream to apply myself. This is very thoughtful because it gives you control of how numb you'd like to be. I put a small amount on and then based on my numbness I was able to add a little more where I felt I needed more numbness. Their cream in excellent. This in my third time I have gotten lip injections and it honestly was the least painful experience out of all the times I have tried this procedure. Jamie was a true expert. Thoughtful and communicative,,She would pause and show me the lip design she was achieving. She paused to make sure I liked the shape and to ask how I was feeling. She made the experience mine and that is when you know you are in good hands. Further, she has a very soft hand, of course there were a few spicy pinches, but I'm A hard patient to numb. (*Do Not Go Here* I finished my "Unlimited Hair Removal" for one year and would strongly, urge you to reconsider giving this company your business for the following reasons. Please read the negative reviews and take seriously before investing your money. 1. They do false advertising on the laser they use. They say they use the CANDELA machine (designed for Laser Hair removal) but they use the SCITON which is designed for BBL. Even on the Sciton website it claims laser hair reduction (not removal) as a side benefit. Thus, you will not get the results advertised. Last time I was there, they have the machine just sitting there but the sales rep still owns it and they can't use it? The whole thing was bizarre. 2. They state you will need 4-8 treatments to see results. (see image). I went to 10 treatments, spaced out exactly as they recommended. 75% of my hair has grown back after completing my treatments just 2 months ago. 3. Was never given documentation. No contract. Even after I asked for one! You'd think they would want to provide it to cover themselves, however all I got was a small credit card receipt for my $2,500 dollars. 4. I never saw Dr. Frie. I was there over 20 hours in the span of a year. IThey just use her name to run the practice under per California's laws. George, (who I believe is her husband?) is a pure salesman and the business feels shady as a result. 5. With a few months remaining, I voiced concerns over the fact that there was still quite a bit of hair growth to the staff. However, I was assured I'd be able to be reevaluated by Dr. Frie herself and "taken care of" to be sure I got the results. Did not happen. After finishing a treatment, I was abruptly told by the woman at the front desk I was done and I could buy more treatments if I wanted to come back. 6. Scheduling was horrific. One reason why I chose BeClinical over places like LaserAway (I was very upfront with them about this from the beginning) was to be able to have the same provider each time. I met with the nurse I'd have, was very impressed and after one visit I was getting calls before every appointment asking me to change my appointment time AND provider. I also wasn't allowed to do multiple body parts in one visit so I had to drive there for separate visits, sometimes within a few days. Adding up travel time and in office time to see the lack of results over a year was disheartening to say the least. I could go on but please do yourself a favor and do not fall for the advertising, pretty office or sales tactics. I've talked with other people that have had similar experiences. Read the negative reviews and take them seriously. Also note that I am not someone that goes around writing bad reviews on yelp (you can see others I've written). Numerous unfortunate interactions here: twice my Zoom consult calls didn't happen, the first because they couldn't figure out the system, the second because they missed the note to test call in the morning. Christy/Christine(?), who openly talked about being new to the injectable field after her long history of nursing (even showing me the lumpy under eye filler she had given herself), left face altering bruising resulting in a swollen, crooked eyebrow that made me look angry and uneven. Lastly, I specifically called and scheduled with a different nurse to avoid the bruising, however I was placed with Christy again regardless of my request. Unfortunately I am experiencing the same thing other reviewers on here are saying about charging you for services and ignoring your request to credit and make it right. Specifically the semiglutide weight loss program and Sarah Long. Signed up for 7 months of treatment and was having success losing weight, until 4 months in when Sarah did not place an order for meds that have to be delivered to you. She kept insisting they were delivered and referencing the last delivery I received in November, when the problem was she never placed my December order, leaving me without medication. When I kept getting the run around from her- you can never reach her by phone, I was forced to find a new provider to continue my treatment. It has left a 3week gap for me, luckily lumimeds seems very professional and getting me my meds within a week of signing up. I paid for $600 of treatment she is now ghosting me on. I would have been happy with a credit for botox , but she ignored my request. What a dissapointment. I've had a couple of consultations and procedures done here and have had no complaints, no side effects, no unevenness. I like that my provider was conservative in treating me and that she listened to my overall goals and provided a treatment plan that coincided with what I was going for. I did the whole body package for a year, and I will say some nurses are qualified. Other others are not. One of the nurses had lasered peach fuzz from my neck and my chin and around my jawline and another nurse had told me that I shouldn't touch peach fuzz because it'll grow back darker and guess what exactly happened. I now have to do laser somewhere else all over my face because I'm now growing thick hairs all over my jawline and neck. Thanks to their unqualified and untrained properly medspa nurses. Heads up they will have new clinicians only employed for 2 weeks without any real experience perform your $1200 Halo treatment. You will have no results, and they will blame you. I bought two separate Halo treatments for my mom (concern for sunspots, aging) and my husband (concern for acne scars). They both had treatments on the same day with two separate clinicians. My husband's treatments with Kayla went well, and he had results consistent with a Halo laser. I would definitely recommend Kayla. My mom came home without any redness, swelling, or pain and looked like she had no treatment whatsoever. After calling Be Clinical with concerns since this was completely different than the usual Halo post laser result, they had her schedule a follow up with the clinician who did her laser. Turns out it was a new person who had only worked with Be clinical for 2 weeks prior to treating my mom. Not only that, but during her follow up, the clinician repeatedly BLAMED my mom for not having good results, saying she had thick Asian skin, didn't pretreat with hydroquinone or tretnoin which is contrary to their own pre-laser instructions. She also blamed my mom for scheduling a consult and treatment on the same day when it was the front desk that scheduled this. She had absolutely no accountability. We were not told this was a new clinician when scheduling the laser appointment and only found this out during the follow up. It's completely unacceptable to be charging patients a full treatment price and having an inexperienced and untrained person performing the laser treatment. What if she burned my mom???? What if we didn't know what a typical Halo result should have been??? They would've taken our $1200 and we would have disappointing results and be blamed for it. They did end up offering a complimentary treatment with Kayla which we did accept, but at that point my mom has wasted her time, her PTO due to taking time off for the laser the first time (which was a waste) and then the second time, not to mention the frustration of being told that it was her fault. Quality of Services - 3-5 Stars, depending on provider. Coordination/Follow-up Care/Billing - 1-2 Stars. The quality of results you will receive here is top notch, especially if you book with Jamie - but research yourself any contraindications because these will not be explored with you. Essentially, you are responsible for your own safety, knowing whether its okay to do a certain treatment, and details of after-care -- so do a lot of research as this won't be gone over with you. Billing and account errors are rampant so keep careful watch. Remind the front desk and the technicians exactly what treatment you are doing (areas, add-ons) because they will not be told or will forget. Ask for numbing cream for your next treatment before you leave. Don't do the weight loss program here. Breadth of my experience with BeClinical: But I have spent $Ks here over the last few years Quality of Results: I am very pleased with results (BBL, CoolTone, CoolSculpt, Halo, Clear and Brilliant, Potenza, PRP, PDO, more). Advanced tech that truly is study-proven to have results. Experience with Jamie is consistently 5 stars. My experience with some of the other techs for laser and light has been less consistently fantastic; there are differences in their methodology and some seem to err more on the side of lighter intensity versus efficacy. Billing Errors and "Lost" Treatments: Watch carefully your account; errors and oversights are rampant. Several times I have come in and there are billing errors - for example, my last Botox appointment which was last week I was told I owed $XXX as I was leaving, and I had to remind the front desk that I have prepaid Botox bank. When I was in here yesterday for BBL, I heard them say the same thing to another woman, who also had to remind them. I wonder how many times they have erroneously charged patients? They have "lost" on the record treatments I was supposed to have and I had to remind them - this happened both before and after they moved over to a new system. The "extras" that they give with packages are often not applied - so you need to proactively remind them to do this both at the front desk and with the technician. For example, yesterday at my BBL they forgot to apply stem cells which are supposed to be added to every treatment when you're a Platinum member. Another time, I had purchased both a Face and Neck treatment, and they only did the face. Another time, I was trying to book for a promo treatment I had won by doing a "raffle"/spin the wheel promo they had for folks who bought packages that day - the promos did not show up in my account. Since I come in here a lot, I don't alway remember exactly the full treatment that I was supposed to have, and you really have to remind and push them to do this - so don't go on autopilot like me after you purchase and book. Non-functioning Equipment: Another not-great experience is when I purchased a CoolTone package but after I completed my first session and went to schedule the next (you're supposed to do them in a series right after the other over 2 -3 weeks - which I was not told much less encouraged to do by BeClinical, I found this out by reading beforehand on other websites), was told they were "out" of CoolTone treatments and had to buy a new card, and that would be weeks out. This was months ago . Poor weight loss program- Had to inject semaglutide myself with no training or discussion how. Lost 2 weeks in my program (which I paid)because they didn't order meds in time even after I called and texted numerous times. Dangerous Lack of Contraindication Checks: The first CoolTone package I purchased, I mentioned offhand to the tech after my first treatment that I had a copper IUD and she looked surprised and said this might be contraindicated. She had to call the manufacturer, who told her this was a contraindication because CoolTone causes metal to heat up so it could basically cauterize your womb tissue. I am very surprised that this was never considered before, and that I was not told about this prior to booking/purchasing - especially the damage this could have done. I am not having any more children, but if I wanted to get pregnant, I would be very upset about the possible damage I would have caused to my body. IUDs are a common form of birth control so how has this not been taken into account? After I removed my IUD, I noticed that the second time I bought a CoolTone, scheduled, and did treatment, I was not asked if I have an IUD - so they are clearly still not warning women, some of whom may be trying to get pregnant. Because I had to refund the rest of my first CoolTone package I'd bought (because they had not told me about contraindications), I was actually charged the full price of that treatment I did - although I was not able to complete the full series like you are supposed to, and I wouldn't have purchased at the full price, especially not to do one session when the "treatment" consists of multiple sessions. read more

I found Be Clinical because of a Botox special and confirmed they do lips flips and neck bands unlike major chain Laser places that won't go below the nose. The price was great, even without the special. Once you're in the system you can sign up for texts that have running specials. I'd been thinking about neck threads for a LONG time as my neck took a beating in the shut downs and working from home. They ran a KILLER price on threads so I did it. Three sessions and major improvements. So worth it. I turned 45 in the pandemic, then 46 and then 47. I'm not sure why but I felt like I aged rapidly during that time. In 2019 I looked 10 years younger than my age, by 2022, I looked my actual age. I am too young for a face/neck lift and had been doing some research of other options, threading, microneedling, etc. Then they had a special for Potenza (microneedling with radio frequency), on the face and neck which isn't cheap to begin with but they had a sweet deal since the were introducing it. I think it was face plus neck for the price of one. Potenza is like a facelift before you need a facelift. Perfect, I gave this to myself for my 47th birthday. I just had my first session and let me tell you, after 3 days, marked improvement already. They say it can take a few weeks, but holy wow, I am looking pre-pandemic already! I think they say that because results can vary. Two more sessions to go and I cannot wait for the next one if the first brought out results like this. I came over from another facility for my technician who started working at B Clinical. I trust only certain people working on my face. He ended up leaving because he felt the operation was like a car lot, high pressure working on people's weaknesses of their appearance.
