I drove to BEACH BUZZ for a drink and takeout since it's new and close to home. I ordered takeout for dinner, hoping to support a new local spot. When I got home and opened the boxes, I was sadly disappointed, especially because it's my wife's birthday. Both the main dishes and sides were visibly burnt. The calzone had a charred, bitter taste that overwhelmed any other flavors, basically inedible. The worst part was the burned aroma that lingered--it was clear this wasn't just "crispy" food; it was outright neglected. Given that they're a new restaurant, I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but this level of quality is hard to overlook, especially because my wife was visibly disappointed. I hope BEACH BUZZ can iron out these issues, but after this experience, I'm hesitant to order from them again. For now, I can't recommend them, especially for takeout. My wife recommends and supports the best local restaurants to her customers and sadly, "negative word of mouth" travels fast. read more

We are locals who live a few miles away on Innerarity and wanted to give this place time to work out all the kinks before we tried it having been in the restaurant business for 25 years ourselves. Start hearing bad reviews from friends and neighbors when it first opened but the other day another friend asked if we had tried the pizza because she heard the calzone was really good. We decided to order calzones for takeout this past Friday and they were FANTASTIC! Perfect ratio of ricotta and mozzarella. In my top 2 best calzones ever. So my husband wanted to go eat there last night and it was an absolute DISASTER! It wasn't really that crowded but they only seemed to have 2 waitresses for the entire restaurant inside and out who also had to be the hostess. We ordered a beer, wine and a margarita and it took close to 25 minutes to get even though they had 2 bartenders! Salads took forever, my husband ordered the grilled spaghetti sandwich and they brought him spaghetti and meatballs. After they fixed the order, the sandwich was slapped together, burnt and not eatable. I ordered the same calzone I had Friday night and there was zero ricotta and very little mozzarella. not even worth bringing home the leftovers! Consistency will make or break a restaurant and after almost a year of being open, they haven't mastered that. and it's quite disappointing because that was going to be my go to when I was craving pizza! read more

This place was the freaking best. Our waitress (Shelly) was so fun and provided excellent service. She recommended the Vermonter (yes it has maple syrup) and lasagna. Omg. Incredible. Wish we had this restaurant back home!! Oh, the atmosphere inside is also a 10/10. read more

Ate dinner Friday June 21st around 6pm. Sat outside where it was not crowded. Prompt service. Big menu. Pizza came out in 15 minutes. It was very good - I ate the whole thing! It was a small 8inch. Local guy playing music was a nice touch. read more

Happy to have them here. So far have only tried the Teriyaki Burger (fantastic) and Fried Ravioli (okay, but mostly boring). Looking forward to trying other options on the menu. Speaking of boring, they could do a bit to make the inside a bit more interesting. They do have TVs everywhere which is great but it seems like something could be done to up the atmosphere. Maybe plants all around, or interesting LED lights... not sure. read more

Loud, vulgar patrons' behavior was totally supported by 3 employees. They excused the patrons' behavior by saying they were locals. Made it very clear that the Beach Buzz "is a bar." I would add a low end bar. Definitely not a family atmosphere and offensive language was over the top. read more

Our first time and we were not disappointed. The food was really good, we had a party if 8 and everyone enjoyed their food. It's not Jacos which I miss terribly but staff and everyone was super nice. Tried several times and service is always awful and takes forever. Decided to give it one more try, and we've been sitting here for over an hour with no food. My dad visited there this evening (doesn't have a yelp so I'm making this review for him) He went to sit at the bar and had to ask for a menu after a few minutes, and she was not busy at the time. A lady walked in and she immediately made her a drink, then a gentlemen came in and again the bartender went straight to making him a drink, still has not asked my dad for his order after having sat there for atleast 10 minutes. Went here last night, at 6:45 we were told wait would be 25 minutes, no problem. After 20 minutes I heard the hostess say they only had 2 servers - should have been the indicator to leave. We were sat at 7:10, waited about 10 minutes to ask for drinks and we ordered food. In this time we looked around and saw that the 3 groups sat before us didn't have their drinks or food. We asked at 7:50 when our food would be done, and were told 15 minutes. We watched two other groups get up and leave and at 8:15 we did the same. Can't rate the food as we never received any, but the fried pickles that passed the table looked burnt. read more

The food and service were great. Even though they were very busy the food didn't take very long to get to the customers. Chris the bartender is very fast and friendly. The prices on the menu were a little cheaper than other places in the area. Also, the place has been totally re- modeled. Great service. We went with a group of 8 for lunch. I got Lasagna with a $2.50 upgrade of crumbled beef. It came with a side (huge) salad and 2 pieces of garlic toast. Great pizza! Best pizza in the area. They have a 24 inch pizza that will feed an army. I tried the lasagna and it was good. I will go back.

We arrived around six didn't even get water till after seven, food didn't come out till well after eight and one of the orders were wrong. Our waitress was a sweetheart but very inexperienced. It's a shame the food we got was very good but they need to get better on service, quite a few that came in left because everything was taking so long. read more

Delicious pizza and cheese curds. My husband had the Italian salad and said it was the best salad he's ever eaten. The owner was so nice and brought us extras like maple syrup to try with our cheese curds (sounds terrible but was AMAZING) and ice cream for my daughter even though she didn't get a kids meal.
