The Peach Pit. I knew my wife and friends were going out to dinner in a few days . I made sure we were going to eat at the WIch Doctor. My wife and friend Cheri are both vegetarian. They both tried the TLC. Farm tomatoes and mixed greens, house mayo, smoked crunchy salt, tillamook smoked cheddar crusted sparrow bakery sliced sourdough. My wife and friend Cheri are vegetarian. They both could not believe that the sandwich tasted like a BLT. Brenda ( co-owner) said the combination of the smokey salt and smokey cheese make a bacon flavor. They both loved their sandwiches. MY friend Dave had the Peach Pit. He had the same feeling as when I had that sandwich the other day. OUTSTANDING. I wanted to try Cedar Street . Roasted tri-tip, irish cheddar, obsidian stout worcestershire shallot jam, house mayo, arugula, toasted one loaf bend bakery sourdough ciabatta. This upscale Cheesestake sandwich was terrific. The best tri- tip I've ever eaten. After eating I had to tell "Chef" Cody ( co-owner) he was batting 2 for 2 on my visits to " Wich Doctor". Both Brenda and Cody are great at what they have put together. Great food and friendly , informative service.

I've tried a few different tri-tip sandwiches in bend recently and this one might be my favorite (don't come for me!). The staff are really nice too! In case you haven't been to this area, it's a food truck that is part of an outdoor pavilion area. Super fun spot to check out if you're with a group. I'll be back!

There are several tables inside and plenty of seating outside. Today was hot and hazy with poor air quality . Unfortunately I had to sit outside and eat my sandwich. I had the Albuquerque sandwich . Turkey, crispy bacon, and fresh avocado, topped with arugula, tomato, pepperjack cheese, red onion and chipotle mayo on sliced Sparrow sourdough . It comes slightly toasted. It was a quality sandwich . Next time out I would try a hogie sandwich . The sourdough sandwich was good but I can use a hardier sandwich for lunch.

The Beach Hut is an absolutely amazing place for breakfast or lunch! Their sandwiches are hands-down some of the best in downtown Bend -- packed with flavor and always satisfying. It's also a great place to work remotely, meet up with friends, or socialize while enjoying a great meal and coffee. The atmosphere is welcoming, cozy, and always has a positive vibe. The staff is consistently friendly, welcoming, and truly goes above and beyond to make every visit a great experience. The owner, Sean, is also incredibly kind and welcoming. He makes sure everyone who walks through the door receives exceptional service and feels appreciated. You can really tell that customer experience is a top priority here. Generous portions, reasonable prices, outstanding customer service, and an inviting environment make The Brunch Hut one of my favorite spots in Bend. I've been coming to Beach Hut for many years and have always enjoyed the great food and consistently positive experiences. The service has always been excellent as well. However, during my most recent visit, I was extremely disappointed and concerned by what I observed. Over the course of about 15 minutes, I watched as four team members prepared food without once washing their hands. One of the employees repeatedly wiped her hands on her jeans and then continued making sandwiches. Additionally, the cashier, after handling customer payments, assisted with food prep without washing his hands. Cleanliness and proper food safety practices are crucial, and what I witnessed today was very troubling. I hope this issue is addressed promptly to maintain the quality and standards that have kept me coming back for years. read more

The first thing I noticed immediately when I walked in the door was the heavenly scent of some of the most amazing fresh baked bread I'd ever smelled. The staff was professional, friendly and prompt with my order (which is something I found to be the norm in Bend.) I knew that I would be returning here later to try one. At the end of my "shift", I did indeed return, and I got myself a roast beef sub with bacon, pesto, mayo, onions, and provolone cheese. I took it to go, and ate it when I got to my parent's house. To say that this sandwich was a world class sandwich experience is an absolute understatement. Everything I chose to have on that sandwich was as fresh as it could possibly be. The roast beef was hearty, full of bold beef flavor, thick cut, and very stacked onto the sandwich. No skimping here! The bacon was balanced perfectly, thick cut, smoky and just the right amount of salty. The pesto was absolutely fresh tasting, and the pine nuts in it gave the sandwich a taste and texture that was amazing, with the basil giving it a fantastic flavor. The onions were crisp, full flavored and not slimy in the slightest. The provolone was nice and melty, and had a creamy smoothness to it that excited my tastebuds. Even the mayo was slightly elevated by everything else on the sandwich. But the real star was the bread, that immaculate white bun with that amazing fresh baked smell and taste. We went there to try the smoked pastrami sandwich, because there are not many places that serve a good smoked pastrami, so decided it's a smoke house it should be good! Also the beef jerky looked delicious. and I asked the girl helping me how is the beef jerky? Do you folks make your own? She replied yes do you want to try a sample? So I asked to try the peppered beef jerky and it was tasty and not overly dried, I ended up buying some, which I plan to buy more before heading back home. Also we tried the smoked dark chocolate with hazelnut which also was very good and tasty and need to bring that also back home. The smoked pastrami sandwich was very good and tasty everyone enjoyed it! And it came with a bag of chips and also chocolate chip cookies that was still warm and chewy with a crispy edge. They also have a wine sampling once a month for wine tasting, beside they sell draft beers there it you like to have a drink with your sandwich or item they are selling. The staff there were very friendly and nice!
