One night here was $220+ via Hotels.com....total, absolute ripoff. They call this a resort and it…read moreis nothing more than a roadside motel with a tiki bar attached. Rooms are threadbare and sparsely furnished. Flatscreen on the wall with no guide/explanation of the local channels or cable ones. No breakfast included for the $220+ either. Crappy cheap linens in bathroom and on the bed (hey: at least they ain't rubber sheets). Other inclusions: tiny little bottles of shampoo, gel and conditioner as "amenities." Poor quality single serve coffee packets and the world's smallest coffee maker too. One other observation: room smelled faintly of cheap marijuana too. Mattress was about as soft as they get. I almost thought I was sleeping on a bowl of oatmeal...They need to change it out for a new, firm one that wasn't made in 1999. The only positive that I can offer is that the room was clean (albeit worn around the edges), no bugs, and it served the purpose of being here overnight after an evening at the opera. I wasn't about to shell out $400+ to stay in downtown Sarasota Something tells me that the gypsy camp from Il Trovatore would've been more hospitable and comfortable. If these people wanna call this joint a resort, then I'd hate to see what a Motel 6 looks like in THEIR world. That even includes the small, forlorn pool in the middle of the property too. At least the small fridge and microwave were cute! Fridge was nice and cold for the leftover pizza from dinner last night. Other good thing was that the shower had decent water pressure so I could wash off the cheap-motel-vibe grime in the morning. That's about as much positivity as I can offer about this "resort." They further claim the "resort" as "newly renovated." Well, I'd hate to see what this place looked like previously. Meanwhile, do yourself a favor: if you MUST stay here, then close the potty door, or you'll be disturbed by the outside lights shining thru the frosted window...and don't forget to lock your car. You be stayin' in da hood! Golden Host me arse...this barely qualifies as zinc, never mind gold, silver or even bronze. Does zinc rust? Asking for a friend!

We've loved it, the location, & being together to play cards, swim in the pool & ocean.HOWEVER, this year one sister got booted out of our room despite a deposit b/c owner's niece gave 10 day notice of staying there. What good is deposit if not honored. She was given another room not to her choosing or liking since she had 3 grandchildren to share with. We fought for a discount but this doesn't meet the dissatisfaction & disappointment considering our long history of repeated business with the same management. Our family has elected not to renew our business with this location b/c of this, sorry to say. Many of the rooms have not been updated, most of the mattresses of small beds are not comfortable to sleep. In addition, the WIFI in the individual condos is virtually non-existent on the 2nd floor unless you sit outside & what is the point of that at night!

They offered us movies to rent out because we had two small children. I did make the mistake this time and accidentally booked the studio which was entirely my fault. It comes with a parallel parking spot which is super tight and that is almost impossible to park in so unless your 007 I'd recommend trying to park on the street which can be extremely crowded, or book another cottage. They have beach umbrellas, bicycles, boogie boards etc. you can take with you to the beach which is just a few steps away. You walk over a ramp and it's there. The pool is heated and nice after a day at the beach. You also get a complimentary ticket for either two free cocktails or one appetizer at the sand bar which is not a far walk on the beach. The food could be better, but the rum buckets are where it's at. They're kinda weak so I always ask for an extra shot of rum. Now the beach. So crystal clear, so warm, just perfect. Reminded me of being in the Caribbean. There are tons of shops and restaurants within walking distance or you can rent a golf cart. We will be making our annual trips here to relax, unwind and take in the beauty that is Anna Maria.

They state that there was sand on the counters, we moved a couch (nothing states that we could slide furniture), dishes were dirty (DW was broken and we habd cleaned it all) and we broke a lamp (which we provided pictures that it was already broken). They refuse to credit our $50. BEWARE, TAKE PICTURES OF EVERYTHING BEFORE YOU CHECK IN AND SEND TO THEM!!

Great office staff as well as housekeeping staffs! We plan to stay there again next May 2027! What makes Siesta Key so terrific is the "Breeze" trolley that goes from Siesta Key Village, with many stops, all the way to Turtle Beach area and back...and it's FREE! no need to drive the car anywhere for restaurants! The property seems to have undergone a complete renovation. The rooms and grounds are impeccably maintained, and the kitchen appliances and décor are modern, stylish, and beautiful. I'm extremely happy with my choice and would definitely stay here again. One thing to note is that Expedia lists the hotel as being on the beach, but it is actually about two blocks away. That said, the walk is quick and easy, and the hotel conveniently provides beach chairs for guests, making the trip to the beach very enjoyable.

The rooms come with beach chairs, a cooler and beach towels. The bathroom is large and the water pressure was great. Housekeeping is scheduled if you want it and you can make the arrangements. If you want to change your towel there are designated times to set out your towels or you can also switch them at the office. There is a nicely sized fridge and microwave available in the room for use. You can grab water bottles from the office if you get thirsty. We did not need a golf cart but the office is able to support you in getting a golf cart and they pull carts for you to borrow to take the beach. You are able to borrow bikes as well during the designated hours. The beach entrance is right across the street and on the other side of the street you walk right into Siesta Village. The trip was a treat and I am looking forward to returning.

Our family of 10 had a tremendous experience at this rental. You are in the heart of the Village and quick walk to the beach. You have your own pool, full kitchen, elevator, family room, and a covered porch by the pool for gathering. The unit was spotless and if there is an issue, they respond immediately. Now for the expense vs value. Is the unit expensive, yes it is. But the value you get outweighs the expense. Most people reading reviews, like us are not rich. The cost when you compare renting 4 hotel rooms in this great location makes more sense. Add to that you have a full kitchen, gas grill, and washer dryer and the value starts to greatly exceed the expense. As Grand Parents having everyone together on vacation takes the value of this property off the charts. Add to that the two people we had contact with at this company, Tim and Ken were absolutely great. They could have not been more accommodating and genuinely concerned that we had a top notch experience. The value you get from this rental is way more than worth it. I would Highly recommend to anyone wanting to bond with their family on a vacation. I forgot to mention we are from Buffalo NY, and the weather here didn't suck !!!
