I ORDERED A CHEESEBURGER LOADED, A LARGE ORDER OF ONION RINGS, AND MY HUBBY ORDERED THE GRILLED BOLOGNA SANDWICH WITH PICKLES AND KETCHUP, ALONG WITH A CHEAP WINE WITH UNLIMITED REFILLS!!! When I ask our waitress her name, she said "Sally" and her boss spoke up and said her name is really "Bernice"! I told her my name is Belva and said you should really stick with Bernice it's a much cooler name than Sally and we both laughed!! She was a really good waitress. This place never disappoints if you're looking for a good juicy burger the onion rings are frozen, but delicious. The breading on them is so thin and nice not like those crumbly ones the bologna sandwich my husband loved. We will return again!! read more

I don't understand all the hype for this burger shack. Burger was small, overcooked and under seasoned, if it had any seasoning at all. With tip, $10 for a mediocre at best burger. This is way overpriced and underwhelming. There just wasn't anything special about it at all. read more

We haven't been here in years but were over at the Habitat and decided to stop in. Small spot but a good hit of parking. You can eat in or walk up and order. We decided to eat in and were seated immediately. The staff is very nice and I want to commend them for a 99 sanitation score. We ordered and had our food in 15-20 minutes. I got the double cheese burger all the way + toppings. ~$6.50 for a double cheeseburger + $2 for a small fry. You can get a combo, which probably makes it a little cheaper. Very good burger! Others in my group got the Philly cheesesteak, Carolina hotdog, and a large tater tot order, and we were all very satisfied. Really a great place to stop in if you're in the area. read more

Finally made it here after coming to this beach for 40 years (although I'm not sure how long it's been here). :) It lived up to its reputation! I enjoyed sitting inside the quaint establishment on a non-busy weekday in the off-season. Very low key - waitress was pleasant and food came out in less than 10 mins of ordering. I enjoyed the bacon Philly burger (minus the peppers) and it was the perfect amount. I would go for the bigger burger, but also had a day of errands ahead of me and would have wanted a nap. ‍Perfectly cooked, sloppily eaten and served without a plate - just how a burger joint should be! Had a chance to check out Beaches Burgers when I was in town with family earlier this month. It's a nice little mom-and-pop burger shop that is incredibly busy (that should say plenty.) For me, a more appropriate rating would be a 3.75. The burgers were fantastic--based on comments from everyone in our party of 12. I shared the cheese fries with my wife and went with a classic cheeseburger. The fries were pretty good, but the burger was fantastic. I also wanted to commend the service. We had a member in our group with a peanut allergy and the buns they traditionally use wouldn't work for this member. We brought a bun and the staff was perfect from being accommodating, super careful with handling, and his burger was well-marked. The only knock is ordering/picking up is a little chaotic. There is an inside and I'm sure that is much easier from a table with a waitress, but for our size group we thought we'd be helping everyone out by ordering from their order/pick-up window. Both windows are labeled, but the people at the windows change and have no idea who has/hasn't been helped and due to the time waiting for burgers there wouldn't be a traditional line at this hot spot--it's more of a like a cattle call for your order (pun intended.) The other thing worth noting, not a knock, they are only open for lunch and, as I said, very busy. There were a couple people that stopped in after our group turned off by that second element. If you're looking for an empty McDonald's, this is NOT the place. read more

I visited Beaches Burgers today. I ordered one Carolina dog, fries and a soft drink. The price of the order was just under $9. Noting they have a 2-dog special for just over $9. I thought the dog was fine and the chili topping was good. The fries were hot and likely my favorite part of the meal. The experience was good but over priced from my perspective. read more

What a happy little burger joint right off the island. We've past this little gem for years and decided to grab a burger on the way out of town. The burgers are all cooked the same (tried to order medium) but they are juicy and not overly seasoned. The mushroom swiss burger was so delicious. Their chili cheese fries were great too. Their chili is so wonderfully flavored. They're only open 11-2, but this little place is super busy with diners and lots of walk-up and to-go orders. Don't sleep on Beaches Burgers for a fantastic lunch. Whether it's a burger or one if their hot dogs, I don't think you can choose poorly here. read more
